Memphis Train Revue

THIS BAND IS AMAZING! My husband and I wanted a band that would keep people on the dance floor, and Memphis Train Revue did just that. Our wedding was so much fun, thanks to this band. They are amazing musicians and singers. Not only were their song selections fun and upbeat, but the way in which they performed was incredible. We were in awe at the sheer talent possessed by the members of Memphis Train Revue. The band even gifted us with a bottle of champagne. They were all incredible to work with, incredible performers, and incredibly thoughtful.

Memphis Train Revue was SO MUCH FUN! I didn't sit down once and I don't think anyone else did either. Mark was great to work with with and really went above and beyond to make sure the event ran smoothly. Couldn't have asked for a better group to help us celebrate our wedding :)

I still remember what an amazing night my sister's wedding reception was back in 2010. There was something to be said for looking around and seeing nearly every wedding guest on the dance floor. That's when you know the band is top notch. Several years later, when my now husband and I were trying to find the right band for our wedding, we went to Cedar Street to see MTR - not surprising, after the first song we knew we had to have them at our wedding too! Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning all the way up until the big day. Super professional, incredibly patient and so very helpful! I still have the best memories of my 70-year-old dad (NOT a dancer), jumping up and down on the dance floor. If that's not a sign of a successful night and a testament to the band's talent, I don't know what is! Thank you Mark and MTR for making my wedding night truly one for the books!

Memphis Train Revue performed at our Oct 2017 wedding and they were phenomenal! They were energetic, professional, kept the dance floor packed and sounded great! They also did an outstanding job with our first dance special request and played us out with "Second Line". Highly recommend them!

The dance floor was full all evening! MTR's music was perfect for our daughter's wedding reception. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest loved the music selection. The band members were so talented, personable and kind. Manager Mark Grossman was ready to answer any question politely, accurately, and in a timely fashion. I highly recommend MTR. Memphis Train Revue was the best wedding band I've ever seen, period. They were incredibly easy to work with and attentive to our needs (e.g. brother of bride playing a song, learning new songs, playlist recs), but more importantly, they had the entire 180 person wedding dancing the entire night. I couldn't imagine a better experience!

Memphis Train Revue did an amazing job at our wedding. From all the prep from selecting songs, to knowing when to start or stop our recorded songs, they were so understanding. They were very responsive to my (at times) confusing and last minute emails. They made the wedding night so much fun and had the crowd going the whole time. Memphis Train Revue was truly the reason our wedding was so amazing, stress-free, and memorable! Mark was incredibly organized from the beginning, always promptly responding to all our emails and asking all the right questions (most we hadn't even though of ourselves!). They were all very professional and eased any concerns we had about announcements, timing, and the day-of schedule. From the start of the reception to the end of the reception, their sound was amazing. Honestly, our guests are still, 3 months later, commenting on the band's incredible performance. They did a fun intro for the wedding party, a fabulous rendition of My Girl for the Father/Daughter dance, announced all the big events (cake cutting, garter toss, etc.) really interacted with the audience, and even paraded around the venue for a traditional New Orleans dance called the Second Line. At the end of the evening, my mom's was just beaming, saying, "I want to be best friends with the band!" I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Mark and Memphis Train!

Memphis Train MADE the reception. By the end of the evening, they were dancing and playing their instruments down on the dance floor with the bride, groom and guests. They were fantastic and I totally recommend them!!

Very professional, great band that you will not be sorry you spent the money. DJ wouldn't have been the same. Manager is professional and helpful. Band sounds like original singers of songs. All you need is a room for them to set up and you will have a great party, wedding, whatever that people will talk about for a long time to come.

Our wedding coordinator told us that one of the best investments we could make would be the band, and she steered us toward Memphis Train Revue. How right she was! They were truly fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. They played appropriate music during the dinner hour, and when the dancing started, they really ramped it up! The variety of songs they play appealed to all ages and their energy on stage kept the dance floor full the whole evening. Besides the "beautiful bride", my friends are still talking about how fun the Band was. No one wanted the evening to end! What more could a Mother of the Bride ask for?

From the first contact in the the summer of 2013, until weeks past the final exit of the last of our two weddings (April 5, 2014 and June 14, 2014), Mark Grossman was amazing and gifted in his hands-on approach to managing Memphis Train Review and working with us for two unforgettable wedding receptions. The band members, sound techs and Mark exceeded our expectations in every aspect from experience, vocals, musical talent, organization and professionalism. Our two daughters and their husbands commented that Memphis Train Review was the icing on the cake at their receptions. The dinner music set the tone for a festive evening. If you want all your guests dancing and chanting for more at the end, then I highly recommend this band. Memphis Train Review is an incredible group of talented musicians led by Mark Grossman, who in my opinion, is one of the best managers in the music business. They will not disappoint. Memphis Train Revue played at our wedding last month and they were great!! Besides the obvious talent this band has in their ability to keep people on the dance floor all night, they were also so easy to work with. In the process of planning the wedding Mark, the band manager, was such a huge help in making sure we would get the experience we hoped for! Memphis Train Revue is AMAZING!! Choosing a live band was one of our first decisions and we do not regret choosing Memphis Train Revue. We had the best time dancing during our wedding. They were all so engaging with our guests and kept everyone dancing. We have received so many compliments on how fantastic the band was and we are so pleased that we chose them for our wedding reception. They helped make our reception a memborable event!

So you started your planning and are now faced with the big decision: band or DJ? For us, there was really no question, but DJs can be less expensive, so I totally get it. Take note: Memphis Train is WORTH EVERY PENNY! They will take your wedding to funky town and bring it right back. Wow! These guys are just rock stars and they couldn't be easier or nicer to work with. They even learned a Black Keys song for us at no charge, and it brought down the house. My parents had been to a few weddings where they had played, and my fiancé spent the entire year before our wedding showing anyone and everyone their You Tube videos. He was especially excited for them to play, and they did not disappoint! They were fun, nice, and even gave us a bottle of celebratory champagne at the end of the night. So much love for Memphis Train. You guys rock!

When I first started the planning process, I considered hiring a DJ instead of a band in order to save money, but I'm glad we spent the extra dollars. TOTALLY worth every penny. The band was amazing. Dance floor was full the whole night. They even let me little nephew get up on stage and dance with them. Thank you so much for a job well done.

I would not even hesitate to hire Memphis Train Revue again, they were amazing and I'm so thankful to them for helping make our day so special! 1. They are extremely talented vocalists and instrumentalists. To this day (more than a year post wedding), I still get compliments on how good our band was. 2. They are fun and know how to keep the crowd moving. Literally all our guests, old and young, were on the dance floor all night and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night! The band even played a few encores for us because we were all having so much fun. 3. They are professional and a pleasure to work with. Mark, the manager, is easy to work with and very responsive to emails and phone calls. The band even gave us a bottle of champagne at the wedding! We have so many great photos of our guests on the dance floor and even more great memories. I would highly recommend MTR for any event!

Memphis Train Revue kept our guests dancing to the very end of the reception. Everyone from the adults to the kids were on the dance floor all evening long. They were a very easy band to book and work with. All our guests raved about how wonderful they were.
