We got married in the Grand Ballroom, which is absolutely stunning on the inside. The ONLY thing I wish they had was a prettier spot to get pictures outside. The train tracks are very cool, and the trees are nice (if it's in season), but the fountain could use an update just to make the stream nicer. Overall, we had the MOST amazing experience here. We were taken care of so well, and it is quite affordable. You get so much for what you pay for, and the people could NOT be kinder. Mendenhall is a very very special place <3

We ended up using vendors that the Mendenhall recommends as well which made our day so easy to plan and had such a smooth operation. The reception was so beautiful and elegant, and honestly the Mendenhall was so much more affordable than other venues we looked at (and was just as beautiful if not more so). We had the most perfect wedding day and honestly a lot of that was due to the wonder staff at the Mendenhall. Would definitely recommend <3 They had different wedding packages to choose from, but we never felt pressured to upgrade anything or choose a more extravagant package (which many other venues we toured put that pressure on us, so it was a breath of fresh air that the Mendenhall did not). Having a package that includes practically everything made the planning process so easy

It was such an unforgettable day and it couldn't have happened without the Mendenhall Inn and all the great people working there.

Our waitress, Lucy, was also very attentive and never left our water glasses and drinks empty. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the food, service, and beautiful venue itself. We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the professionalism of the staff. Our maitre' d, Roberto, also was absolutely incredible. He knew what my husband and I needed before we knew it ourselves. Champagne for everyone while taking some last minute photos? Check. Reminder to stop on the way back down the aisle for a cute newlywed photo? Check. Plates and utensils for cutting the cake? Check. I had the absolute time of my life getting married at the Mendenhall Inn and I would do it again in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed if you book this venue!

se the Grand ballroom for the beautiful large staircase for a grand entrance, and we had our wedding in December which was so nice to have the place decorated for Christmas! Gianna and Bonnie at the front office are so great at what they do, and are able to cover every single detail with you leading up to the big day. They answer questions for you that you didn't even know you had. We were able to rent the conference room for the morning of the wedding so the bridal party could comfortably get ready together in one space. Gianna also helped set up our ballroom with all our decor the day before the wedding and everything was perfect. She asked for a list of where I wanted everything and then did an outstanding job of putting my vision to life. Their packages also include flower centerpieces for all the reception and cocktail hour tables - if you choose not to use them, YOU get money back for them! There is a small area that is more private for the bridal party to enjoy cocktails with a private bathroom as well, which made our bridal party so happy. Our guests have said that the cocktail hour food and reception meals were some of the best wedding food they have ever had. The afterparty was also held right on the Mendenhall grounds and we were able to order food for that as well. The presidential suite is the room we chose to stay in - its large and beautiful - my photographer said she has never seen a better lighting for the bridal photos within in a hotel! We also held our rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. The food was great and the staff was so pleasant. It is so convenient for your guests to be able to stay in the hotel right on site, which allowed everyone to have an even better time. Anything that was left over from the night including the cake and our leftover dinner meals were brought to our hotel suite without us even having to ask. The entire experience was so wonderful and I don't have a single complaint for the entire weekend. You and your guests will NOT be disappointed !!

Every time we said “thank you” they told us no need, that’s what they were there for. But truly, they made our day feel seamless just as much as Dottie did. We rented the Mendenhall Room for getting ready and it was HUGE and perfect for eating breakfast the morning of the wedding and had lots of plugs for the hair and makeup team. We got married in the Grand Ballroom and it was so beautiful and everything I needed to make my wedding vision come to life! The drinks at the bar were perfect and multiple people told me how good the bartenders were. It was so convenient having everything on-site. We also loved doing the after party at the bar on-site and we got to hang out with the other wedding, too! Overall, I could not recommend Mendenhall Inn more. It’s beautiful, convenient, and the staff couldn’t be more fantastic!

Her counterpart Dottie is also great!! We knew our wedding would be great when we would tell people we were getting married here and everyone we knew had been before and had amazing things to say. The food - there is SO MUCH FOOD. If you have large families (especially Italian!!) like we do, there will be no one left hungry and the food is delicious. Our bartenders were awesome (shout out Billy!!), and the staff are so nice, accommodating and quick. The Gold Ballroom was also recently renovated and it is a GORGEOUS update to a venue with already great bones. We also did the after party at the restaurant with a late night snack menu, and everyone really enjoyed it. Billy even remember my husband & my drink order, and had drinks brought to us immediately when we walked in the door! The greatest part of all, is that the Inn is available and it truly is all inclusive and no need to travel anywhere else at the end of the evening. 10/10 would recommend anyone looking for an all inclusive venue, to chose the Mendenhall. You will not be disappointed form start to finish!

Mario and Julianna our main servers for the evening were perfect and on point! No drink was empty and no need was left unfulfilled. The rest of the staff was amazing our guests had nothing but good things to say! Thanks you Mendenhall for everything!

They set up everything for us, oversaw all of the details and provided excellent food and service! We have had so many guests tell us how much they loved the venue, food and on site accommodations! We were able to utilize Alexander’s bar for an after party, which was also a big hit. They absolutely offer the full package that is well worth it!

It is spacious, elegant and clean, with a large marble dance floor that was full all night long, and a grand staircase for an entrance that no one will ever forget - I definitely got my princess moment coming down those stairs! The ballroom comfortably fit all of our 140 guests, and everyone loved being able to move back and forth between the ballroom and the gorgeous atrium space during the reception. We could easily write for days about the food. The Mendenhall caters everything in house, and everything is delicious. Cocktail hour included over 20 hors d'oeuvres, each more delectable than the last; we got to enjoy our own private cocktail hour setup with our bridal party, which ensured we got to sample every one! Dinner was served swiftly and arrived hot, and every entree was delicious. The kitchen was even able to accommodate our vegetarian and vegan friends, as well as some severe allergies, with specialty dishes at no additional cost. Dessert was rich and plentiful; along with a cake you get to design, there was also a fruit bar and full coffee service. We would also be remiss if we didn't mention our favorite add-on station, the Irish coffee bar. They light. Your coffee. On fire. On FIRE!!! Need we say more? The convenience of having the entire wedding, after party and hotel all in one location simply can’t be beat; many of our guests were out-of-towners, and just about everyone made a full weekend out of it. The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful, with fantastic amenities. We all definitely appreciated the delicious complimentary breakfast the next morning. But it’s really the staff at the Mendenhall that makes the experience so special. Gianna was everything we could ask for and more. She is friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and an absolute professional in her field. It brightened our day whenever we got to sit down with her, and she reassured us that everything would be all right whenever we e-mailed or spoke on the phone. She took us through our wedding from beginning to end, ensuring we got exactly what we wanted and that we understood everything, from plate color to payment schedule, along the way. Roberto, our maître d', kept our rehearsal and day-of moving smoothly and efficiently. Having never been married before, we were a little lost when it came to running our own rehearsal. Roberto partnered with our officiant, and made sure everyone knew exactly where to be in minutes. He even moved some decorative trees for us, THREE MINUTES before our ceremony when we realized they were in the wrong spot! The bartenders were easily the favorites of many of our guests. They were friendly, fast, and most importantly knew how to mix a good drink (hint: ask for a vampire). You can choose a gorgeous space to be married in almost anywhere, but choosing the staff and venue that will stay with you beginning to end (and now after! We still speak with Gianna to this day!!!) is something that's hard to find. The Mendenhall Inn provides that attentive and supportive staff that will make sure your day is as perfect as ours was. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

I am somewhat of a control freak and with the wedding being delayed due to COVID, it only got worse. Luckily, the staff there allowed me to set up the ballroom on my own early (which totally wasn't necessary, but eased my crazy mind). They catered to every strange request I had and truly made our day absolutely perfect.

The staff was amazing everyone was so nice from the hotel staff to the bartenders to the servers! Mendenhall knows what they are doing and deserve to be known for how great they are! The food was on a whole new level! We had everyone coming up to us telling us how great the food was! Normally the bride and groom don’t get to eat! But let me tell you I made sure I ate all that food!! It was so good!! The food alone makes me want to go back to there restaurant just so we can do it all over again! The pricing of the mendenhall was not bad at all either! They had 3 packages and we picked the middle one! There was so much food and drinks included in it! It was well worth every penny!

ds are beautiful, even the bathrooms were beautiful! We worked with Dottie from beginning to end and she is the sweetest, most knowledgeable person to work with and helped us every step of the way. She was always just an e-mail away and never seemed bothered by all the questions I had through all my months of planning. She and the staff are so prepared for anything that may happen that I never felt worried that something may not go as planned or that anything was an inconvenience. The way we were set up after the ceremony, there was a separate area in the back during cocktail hour for just the bride, groom, and bridal party to get food and drinks without fighting the crowd at the big cocktail hour which I thought was a great idea. Between snacking there and getting some more pictures I didn't get to see much of cocktail hour in the atrium, but from what I heard everything was amazing. There's so many menu options to choose from that are around the same price and we were so blown away by all the food at our tasting that it was hard to make a decision for our final menu! The only negative feedback I got from some of my guests that chose filet was that they were all cooked to the same temperature and not everyone was happy with how it was cooked. Mine was very good but everyone has their own preference. I didn't even peek at the dessert table because they dropped cake off for us at our sweetheart table but the cake from Master's Baker came out beautifully. Any decor you have Mendenhall staff sets up and then takes down and organizes for you to pick up the morning after the wedding, and the hotel is flexible with a late check out for the bride and groom so we never felt rushed to get our stuff out the next morning. The only thing that we weren't fully happy about wasn't with the wedding but the after party. We ordered food through Alexander's the week before to have set up at the bar which stays open until 12:30, all the pizzas we ordered were burnt and we ordered what said "chicken cheese steak station, with meat and 4 inch rolls" thinking it would be like a make your own cheesesteak station set up but it was all pre-made and cut up so for the price, we thought that it would be more nicely presented than that. Drunk people don't care and eat whatever, but us knowing what we paid made it disappointing. The bar stayed open until 1 for the group of us that went and the bartenders were great.

Dottie was so experienced and went above and beyond to make sure every tiny detail of our wedding was perfect, from coordinating to vendors, to checking on me before I walked down the aisle. We also received endless compliments on the assortment of food at cocktail hour and were told by guest it was some of the best wedding food they’d ever had. 34 years after my parents got married at the Mendenhall their service and facilities are still awesome… 11/10 stars from us

a half out from our date with Becky, and she was fantastic. Becky ended up leaving before our wedding, so we got transferred to Dottie, who was also fantastic. From the beginning, the planners at Mendenhall answered every question, call, and email promptly. They are professional planners and know exactly how to throw a perfect wedding. We were told by several guests that this was the best cocktail hour they had ever seen! The spacing of the stations and seafood bar was perfect, and the 3 bars made it so no one ever had to wait in line for a drink! We met twice to go over every detail in person, which I appreciated. They also contracted with the ice sculptor and the bakery. Our ice sculpture and cake were definitely highlights of the night! Both turned out amazingly! The cake comes from Master's Baker, which was cool because we got to go there, do a tasting and design the cake with them, and then Mendenhall took care of the rest! Also, the food was INCREDIBLE! We already knew it would be, but all of our guests were so impressed, especially by the cocktail hour. We had a local mushroom, crab cake, and seafood station plus all the buttered and buffet appetizers. The dessert and coffee stations were all amazing as well! Literally, nothing went wrong at our reception, and everything was only better than we had even imagined! Also, we highly recommend going with the vendors that Mendenhall recommends, as we used several of them (dj, florist, photo booth), and they were all amazing!! People danced ALL night long, and we had even extended our reception! We love the food at Mendenhall so much that we even had our rehearsal there the night before, which was the best decision! It was so convenient since we had so many guests staying in the hotel. This was by far the best rehearsal I have ever seen, as we had a little over an hour of a social hour with open bar and appetizers before the dinner began. Also, all of the entrees in the package are the same cost, so we were able to do really impressive sounding entrees for the rehearsal! The space was also amazing, as we used the library rooms which looked amazing with the fireplace and decorations for winter. I can also say here that Mendenhall is SO accommodating and knows how to deal with anything! We had our ceremony in a church and were told to allow 1.5 hours for the rehearsal. We got done in a little less than an hour, so everyone arrived 45 minutes early. Mendenhall easily adapted and got the bar and appetizers going right away and even extended the social hour a bit so the guests that were not at the rehearsal could still enjoy. Very professional! We also planned to have an afterparty and ordered late night food, which our guests thought was just the nicest touch! Mendenhall has a shuttle that transported guests right from the Grand Ballroom to the restaurant so guests didn't have to walk to the bar! We were greeted by the 2 bartenders as soon as we arrived and the food was promptly put out. I appreciated that they accommodated our later ending reception, since the kitchen typically closes earlier that we had our food being served.

Dottie was our day-of coordinator, but she certainly helped me way more than just the day of. Planning a wedding is difficult- often when you get married you have no idea how to plan a wedding- having someone who has professional insight was invaluable. The staff set all of our decor up exactly as we hoped, the place looked great. A special shout out to Mario, the maitre d, who was so amazing the day of! He helped us rehearse, coordinated the wedding that day, AND somehow made sure our entire wedding party never went without a drink in our hand if we wanted it! Our guests told us that the food at our wedding was the best (the seafood bar was definitely a guest favorite). The Platinum Package truly lives up to its name...from the cocktail hour to the entree options to the amazing desserts. I highly recommend the Mendenhall to anyone who is getting married. Every member of the staff was professional and made sure that my guests & I felt special at the wedding. My parents, my husband, & I cannot stop raving about Dottie and Mario (who was also amazing & treated us like royalty).

Always courteous, helpful, reassuring, and professional. The Mendenhall Grand Ballroom was the absolute perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. Capturing her dream of luxury with a sense of warmth, the Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall and its incredible staff delivered beyond our expectations. The abundance of delicious food and the white glove service was so very impressive. If we need to host another beautiful event, we most certainly will return.

As a tip, we took our wedding pictures at Longwood Gardens, and even in March before everything bloomed, it was so beautiful and I know my pictures will be amazing! I hIGHLY recommend that you book your event at Mendenhall!

and all the table linens and catering under one roof. The pricing is very transparent and reasonable. I loved the grand ballroom with the staircase and the atrium, it really made for a great evening. We had about 150 guests and there was definitely room for more. We got prime rib and chicken Marsala for our meals. The vegetarian option was a vegetable wellington which made it accommodating for vegan guests. The prime rib is enormous and all of the food is delicious, we got many compliments. The weekend of our wedding there was a bus tour which used many of the rooms and the Mendenhall coordinated with Concordville Best Western Plus to provide rooms with a free shuttle for overflow guests. You really get so much for your money at this venue, on the day of the wedding we were able to just have fun and not worry about coordinating anything. We also had many out of town guests at our wedding and it was great to have a hotel venue where all the guests could stay. My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding turned out and that we chose Mendenhall Inn!
