We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) on 12/31/23 in the Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall Inn. 100000/10 would recommend this venue to EVERYONE. Our coordinator, Gianna, was excellent from the start. She keep a clear line of communication with us, answered my many questions, and calmed my anxieties. She was very thorough about making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She even touched on things I didn't even know we needed! Our wedding day went so smoothly because of her and the rest of the staff! Roberto was our day of Maître d' who made our day run smoothly and made sure we were fed, hydrated, and had a drink in our hands at all times. Our waitress, Lucy, was also very attentive and never left our water glasses and drinks empty. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the food, service, and beautiful venue itself. I want to be invited here as wedding guest just to experience it again!!!!

I'm three days out from my wedding at the Grand Ballroom at the Mendenhall Inn and still glowing. I could not have imagined a more perfect venue for my dream wedding. I worked mostly with Gianna throughout the last year and she was so pleasant, professional, and responsive. She made the process of wedding planning as minimal stress as possible. She also was so key to making our day of run smoothly and for me, it was so wonderful having her waiting with me to help with my nerves and make sure I looked perfect before walking down the aisle. One of the best things, in my opinion, about Mendenhall is that it's all inclusive. Open bar, food, cake, linens, decor, waitstaff, ceremony, after party, overnight accommodations - it can all be yours at this venue! We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the professionalism of the staff. Our maitre' d, Roberto, also was absolutely incredible. He knew what my husband and I needed before we knew it ourselves. Champagne for everyone while taking some last minute photos? Check. Reminder to stop on the way back down the aisle for a cute newlywed photo? Check. Plates and utensils for cutting the cake? Check. I had the absolute time of my life getting married at the Mendenhall Inn and I would do it again in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed if you book this venue!

This place should DEFINITELY be your wedding venue! I cannot believe how wonderful this place is. We had a 235 person wedding and they made sure everything went so smoothly. We chose the Grand ballroom for the beautiful large staircase for a grand entrance, and we had our wedding in December which was so nice to have the place decorated for Christmas! Gianna and Bonnie at the front office are so great at what they do, and are able to cover every single detail with you leading up to the big day. They answer questions for you that you didn't even know you had. We were able to rent the conference room for the morning of the wedding so the bridal party could comfortably get ready together in one space. Gianna also helped set up our ballroom with all our decor the day before the wedding and everything was perfect. She asked for a list of where I wanted everything and then did an outstanding job of putting my vision to life. Their packages also include flower centerpieces for all the reception and cocktail hour tables - if you choose not to use them, YOU get money back for them! There is a small area that is more private for the bridal party to enjoy cocktails with a private bathroom as well, which made our bridal party so happy. Our guests have said that the cocktail hour food and reception meals were some of the best wedding food they have ever had. The afterparty was also held right on the Mendenhall grounds and we were able to order food for that as well. The presidential suite is the room we chose to stay in - its large and beautiful - my photographer said she has never seen a better lighting for the bridal photos within in a hotel! We also held our rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. The food was great and the staff was so pleasant. It is so convenient for your guests to be able to stay in the hotel right on site, which allowed everyone to have an even better time. Anything that was left over from the night including the cake and our leftover dinner meals were brought to our hotel suite without us even having to ask. The entire experience was so wonderful and I don't have a single complaint for the entire weekend. You and your guests will NOT be disappointed !!

From start to finish our wedding day was nothing but perfection. At the Mendenhall we worked with Dottie. Dottie is kind, quick to think of ideas and remind you of what you may need for your big day. She took the time to really get to know my husband and I as a couple throughout the planning process. Every last detail was made perfect because of Dottie and the entire crew she works with. She even took a picture of myself (the bride) before the ceremony and the rainbow that appeared just after we said “I Do” The staff during the entire night was amazing, nothing was too much of an ask for my husband and I. Every time we said “thank you” they told us no need, that’s what they were there for. But truly, they made our day feel seamless just as much as Dottie did. If you’re considering a wedding at The Mendenhall, do it.

We just got married at Mendenhall Inn and I can’t say enough great things about our experience! We worked with Gianna and she truly is one of the nicest people on earth. She made the process so smooth and was always super responsive! She really made such a stressful time feel so relaxed. Dottie also stepped in to help occasionally and was wonderful when we interacted with her! They listened to everything we needed to happen for the ceremony in the ballroom and it turned out beautifully. The food was amazing and there was so much of it! We rented the Mendenhall Room for getting ready and it was HUGE and perfect for eating breakfast the morning of the wedding and had lots of plugs for the hair and makeup team. We got married in the Grand Ballroom and it was so beautiful and everything I needed to make my wedding vision come to life! The drinks at the bar were perfect and multiple people told me how good the bartenders were. It was so convenient having everything on-site. We also loved doing the after party at the bar on-site and we got to hang out with the other wedding, too! Overall, I could not recommend Mendenhall Inn more. It’s beautiful, convenient, and the staff couldn’t be more fantastic!

We had our wedding at the Mendenhall in the Gold Ballroom on 5/20/2023 and it was the best day of our lives! It was a no brainer to book at the Mendenhall after our first tour - and a huge part of this decision was working with Gianna!! She is amazing, so attentive to every question and helping with every detail, and such a pleasure to work with. Her counterpart Dottie is also great!! We knew our wedding would be great when we would tell people we were getting married here and everyone we knew had been before and had amazing things to say. The food - there is SO MUCH FOOD. If you have large families (especially Italian!!) like we do, there will be no one left hungry and the food is delicious. Our bartenders were awesome (shout out Billy!!), and the staff are so nice, accommodating and quick. The Gold Ballroom was also recently renovated and it is a GORGEOUS update to a venue with already great bones. We also did the after party at the restaurant with a late night snack menu, and everyone really enjoyed it. Billy even remember my husband & my drink order, and had drinks brought to us immediately when we walked in the door! The greatest part of all, is that the Inn is available and it truly is all inclusive and no need to travel anywhere else at the end of the evening. 10/10 would recommend anyone looking for an all inclusive venue, to chose the Mendenhall. You will not be disappointed form start to finish!

I fell in love the moment I entered the grand ballroom and instantly knew I wanted my wedding here. I love Gianna so much! She was everything I (we) needed and more!! She saved me from a total meltdown because my vail didn’t have any combs she found me some bobby pins and literally saved the day!! She was such a light during the entire process and I am soo thankful for her!! Book your wedding g here! You won’t regret it!

The Mendenhall was the most reasonably priced “bang for your buck” vendor we could fine when looking! A throughout the planning process and day of experience, all the staff went above and beyond making things easier for the brief and groom and giving our guests an outstanding experience. Having the rehearsal dinner space, cere,only, reception, after party AND hotel all on site made things so easy, safe and affordable. The most common remarks from our guests were that the food was amazing and that was one of the best weddings they’ve ever experienced!

First off, Dottie (venue coordinator) was incredible to work with. Any nerves or worries she puts at ease. I can never thank her enough. The staff and food were perfect and the whole wedding went smoothly down to the smallest details.

There is not a single negative thing I can say about the Mendenhall Inn. Gianna, aka my best friend Gianna, as my husband likes to say, was a pure dream come true. She is every brides best gift. She was always so quick to email me back, make me feel comfortable and happy, and was so fast to solve any issue I felt. She is so excited and passionate about what she does and how she talks to her couples.. it just fills you with such confidence. As a bride, you worry about all the details, small and large, she never made me feel like I was annoying or too much- she was kind and absolutely perfect throughout everything. I think the biggest part now about our wedding being over is my sadness of not taking to her daily lol. The Mendenhall Staff- were absolutely fabulous! Mario and Julianna our main servers for the evening were perfect and on point! No drink was empty and no need was left unfulfilled. The rest of the staff was amazing our guests had nothing but good things to say! Thanks you Mendenhall for everything!

We absolutely loved our time at Mendenhall Inn! From the planning process with Dottie Sonsalla, to our tasting, to our wedding reception, Mendenhall was phenomenal! They were so easy to work with and let us be creative with the space! Dottie helped us through the entire wedding planning process, gave us lists of vendors to help us get started, and made connections with each of the vendors we selected before our wedding day. Dottie coordinated with all of the vendors so she could act as our day of coordinator so we did not have to worry about anything. She truly went above and beyond for us. In addition to Dottie, the venue itself was beautiful and the food was fantastic. Overall, Mendenhall created our dream wedding and we loved every second of it!

My husband and I had my wedding back in May and Mendenhall Inn was incredible to work with leading to the most perfect day! Dottie was so helpful and responsive to work with. The food was delicious, the bartenders were great, and the maitre'd, Mario, was really attentive and helpful the day of as well. The venue is beautiful and has everything you can need on site. We cannot recommend Mendenhall enough!!

The Mendenhall Inn is the perfect place to get married!! It has an ease of location and the grand ballroom is absolutely stunning! Gianna is super awesome and easy to work with and helps with a lot of behind the scenes of setting up your little add-ons that you have for decorations. The food is so amazing, all my guests raved about the lobster bisque soup (it has giant lumps of lobster and is very yummy). I honestly wish I could’ve attended my wedding as a guest so I was able to experience more of it rather than entertaining my guests.

My husband and I got married on 12/11/21 and had the best experience we could have hoped for! Dottie and Gianna were so patient and responsive to all of my questions throughout the process. I couldn’t have imagined the day going perfect without them - especially as Dottie helped me calm down before walking down the aisle :) All of our guests had raved about the food and staff. We had the chicken Marsala and tenderloin which were so delicious! Thank you Mendenhall inn staff for making our day better than we could have imagined!

We had our wedding reception at the Mendenhall inn in November of 2021. It was marvelous. Gianna and Dottie were both so kind and helpful. We booked 2 years earlier, and they were so gracious to go over it all again as the wedding got closer. The food was amazing, and the bartenders kind and friendly. The space looked exactly as I imagined it. Walking down the grand stair case to see all they had done was just monumental. I love this venue.

Getting married at the Mendenhall was the best. They made the whole experience seamless and as stress free as possible. Gianna was an angel to work with and so helpful answering our million phone calls and emails throughout the process. The venue is beautiful, but they truly just create an overall amazing experience. Our after party was also perfect, the rooms were beautiful and huge, and all our guests agreed with us it was the “best day ever!” I’ve already recommended them to sooo many people. So thankful!

I had my wedding in the Grand Ballroom in October 2021 and everything was amazing. They are so easy to work with and the food is AMAZING. You are really able to get the most bang for your money at this venue. The venue itself is very elegant without needing a lot of extra decor and outside vendors. The staff is amazing and the hotel is beautiful. Could not recommend the Mendenhall Inn more!!

The Mendenhall (and especially Dottie) greatly surpassed all expectations we had for our wedding reception! They were extremely communicative, flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process, which was definitely difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. We booked the Gold ballroom, because we loved the outside patio. They set up everything for us, oversaw all of the details and provided excellent food and service! We have had so many guests tell us how much they loved the venue, food and on site accommodations! We were able to utilize Alexander’s bar for an after party, which was also a big hit. They absolutely offer the full package that is well worth it!

We spent just over a year planning our wedding with Gianna at the Mendenhall Inn. The staff, food, grand ballroom and Gianna herself (the most glorious ray of sunshine to ever plan a wedding with) were all beyond perfect from start to finish! We had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom, a space that wedding dreams are made of. It is spacious, elegant and clean, with a large marble dance floor that was full all night long, and a grand staircase for an entrance that no one will ever forget - I definitely got my princess moment coming down those stairs! The ballroom comfortably fit all of our 140 guests, and everyone loved being able to move back and forth between the ballroom and the gorgeous atrium space during the reception. We could easily write for days about the food. The Mendenhall caters everything in house, and everything is delicious. Cocktail hour included over 20 hors d'oeuvres, each more delectable than the last; we got to enjoy our own private cocktail hour setup with our bridal party, which ensured we got to sample every one! Dinner was served swiftly and arrived hot, and every entree was delicious. The kitchen was even able to accommodate our vegetarian and vegan friends, as well as some severe allergies, with specialty dishes at no additional cost. Dessert was rich and plentiful; along with a cake you get to design, there was also a fruit bar and full coffee service. We would also be remiss if we didn't mention our favorite add-on station, the Irish coffee bar. They light. Your coffee. On fire. On FIRE!!! Need we say more? The convenience of having the entire wedding, after party and hotel all in one location simply can’t be beat; many of our guests were out-of-towners, and just about everyone made a full weekend out of it. The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful, with fantastic amenities. We all definitely appreciated the delicious complimentary breakfast the next morning. But it’s really the staff at the Mendenhall that makes the experience so special. Gianna was everything we could ask for and more. She is friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and an absolute professional in her field. It brightened our day whenever we got to sit down with her, and she reassured us that everything would be all right whenever we e-mailed or spoke on the phone. She took us through our wedding from beginning to end, ensuring we got exactly what we wanted and that we understood everything, from plate color to payment schedule, along the way. Roberto, our maître d', kept our rehearsal and day-of moving smoothly and efficiently. Having never been married before, we were a little lost when it came to running our own rehearsal. Roberto partnered with our officiant, and made sure everyone knew exactly where to be in minutes. He even moved some decorative trees for us, THREE MINUTES before our ceremony when we realized they were in the wrong spot! The bartenders were easily the favorites of many of our guests. They were friendly, fast, and most importantly knew how to mix a good drink (hint: ask for a vampire). You can choose a gorgeous space to be married in almost anywhere, but choosing the staff and venue that will stay with you beginning to end (and now after! We still speak with Gianna to this day!!!) is something that's hard to find. The Mendenhall Inn provides that attentive and supportive staff that will make sure your day is as perfect as ours was. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

We recently held our daughter's reception at the Gold Ballroom of the Mendenhall Inn. They exceeded our greatest expectations. Gianna was fabulous. She managed every detail of our event. The food was absolutely incredible. Our guests raved! The bartenders, the maitre d's, the wait staff were just incredible. Five stars just aren't enough!

Mendenhall Inn is an absolutely perfect wedding venue. We got married in the Grand Ballroom and everything was absolutely perfect! They were fantastic all through the pandemic and were happy to help with rescheduling and providing me with everything I needed to make the transition easy. I am somewhat of a control freak and with the wedding being delayed due to COVID, it only got worse. Luckily, the staff there allowed me to set up the ballroom on my own early (which totally wasn't necessary, but eased my crazy mind). They catered to every strange request I had and truly made our day absolutely perfect.

After looking at many local venues, we chose Mendenhall's Grand Ballroom for our wedding reception. It was perfect. Dottie was our coordinator, and she was always so much fun to work with and just be around as we planned the day. She really worked hard to make sure that what we wanted was fully realized on the day of. The bartenders, servers, captain and Maitre D' were so attentive and pleasant, and the food was fantastic! The ballroom itself was decorated to perfection, and even though the restaurant bar was closed due to Covid, the staff made sure we had a space for some after-hours revelling. We couldn't have been happier with any other venue!

I could never say enough about how amazing this place is! My wedding was more then I could have ever dreamed of! Gianna was the most wonderful person during this whole thing! Even with COVID she was alway on the ball with keeping us updated and helping along the way! She was so perfect and I could never thank her enough! We started planning our wedding in 2019 end it didn’t happen until 2021. I honestly don’t think it would have happen with our her! The staff was amazing everyone was so nice from the hotel staff to the bartenders to the servers! Mendenhall knows what they are doing and deserve to be known for how great they are! The food was on a whole new level! We had everyone coming up to us telling us how great the food was! Normally the bride and groom don’t get to eat! But let me tell you I made sure I ate all that food!! It was so good!! The food alone makes me want to go back to there restaurant just so we can do it all over again! The pricing of the mendenhall was not bad at all either! They had 3 packages and we picked the middle one! There was so much food and drinks included in it! It was well worth every penny!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mendenhall gold ballroom on 2/15/2020 and I can't say enough good things about our experience. The halls are both beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, even the bathrooms were beautiful! We worked with Dottie from beginning to end and she is the sweetest, most knowledgeable person to work with and helped us every step of the way. She was always just an e-mail away and never seemed bothered by all the questions I had through all my months of planning. She and the staff are so prepared for anything that may happen that I never felt worried that something may not go as planned or that anything was an inconvenience. The way we were set up after the ceremony, there was a separate area in the back during cocktail hour for just the bride, groom, and bridal party to get food and drinks without fighting the crowd at the big cocktail hour which I thought was a great idea. Between snacking there and getting some more pictures I didn't get to see much of cocktail hour in the atrium, but from what I heard everything was amazing. There's so many menu options to choose from that are around the same price and we were so blown away by all the food at our tasting that it was hard to make a decision for our final menu! The only negative feedback I got from some of my guests that chose filet was that they were all cooked to the same temperature and not everyone was happy with how it was cooked. Mine was very good but everyone has their own preference. I didn't even peek at the dessert table because they dropped cake off for us at our sweetheart table but the cake from Master's Baker came out beautifully. Any decor you have Mendenhall staff sets up and then takes down and organizes for you to pick up the morning after the wedding, and the hotel is flexible with a late check out for the bride and groom so we never felt rushed to get our stuff out the next morning. The only thing that we weren't fully happy about wasn't with the wedding but the after party. We ordered food through Alexander's the week before to have set up at the bar which stays open until 12:30, all the pizzas we ordered were burnt and we ordered what said "chicken cheese steak station, with meat and 4 inch rolls" thinking it would be like a make your own cheesesteak station set up but it was all pre-made and cut up so for the price, we thought that it would be more nicely presented than that. Drunk people don't care and eat whatever, but us knowing what we paid made it disappointing. The bar stayed open until 1 for the group of us that went and the bartenders were great.

When my husband and I decided we wanted to have a NYE wedding we knew it had to be in a big ballroom and the Mendenhall Grand Ballroom was the perfect location. Everything about the Mendenhall from start to finish was perfect. Our wedding coordinator, Dottie, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Dottie was so experienced and went above and beyond to make sure every tiny detail of our wedding was perfect, from coordinating to vendors, to checking on me before I walked down the aisle. Her attention to detail and calming affect on brides is unmatched! We also received endless compliments on the assortment of food at cocktail hour and were told by guest it was some of the best wedding food they’d ever had. 34 years after my parents got married at the Mendenhall their service and facilities are still awesome… 11/10 stars from us

When people ask how was our wedding, the only word to describe it is PERFECT! Everything with Mendenhall was absolutely perfect. We booked the grand ballroom close to a year and a half out from our date with Becky, and she was fantastic. Becky ended up leaving before our wedding, so we got transferred to Dottie, who was also fantastic. From the beginning, the planners at Mendenhall answered every question, call, and email promptly. They are professional planners and know exactly how to throw a perfect wedding. We were told by several guests that this was the best cocktail hour they had ever seen! The spacing of the stations and seafood bar was perfect, and the 3 bars made it so no one ever had to wait in line for a drink! We met twice to go over every detail in person, which I appreciated. They also contracted with the ice sculptor and the bakery. Our ice sculpture and cake were definitely highlights of the night! Both turned out amazingly! The cake comes from Master's Baker, which was cool because we got to go there, do a tasting and design the cake with them, and then Mendenhall took care of the rest! Also, the food was INCREDIBLE! We already knew it would be, but all of our guests were so impressed, especially by the cocktail hour. We had a local mushroom, crab cake, and seafood station plus all the buttered and buffet appetizers. The dessert and coffee stations were all amazing as well! Literally, nothing went wrong at our reception, and everything was only better than we had even imagined! Also, we highly recommend going with the vendors that Mendenhall recommends, as we used several of them (dj, florist, photo booth), and they were all amazing!! People danced ALL night long, and we had even extended our reception! We love the food at Mendenhall so much that we even had our rehearsal there the night before, which was the best decision! It was so convenient since we had so many guests staying in the hotel. This was by far the best rehearsal I have ever seen, as we had a little over an hour of a social hour with open bar and appetizers before the dinner began. Also, all of the entrees in the package are the same cost, so we were able to do really impressive sounding entrees for the rehearsal! The space was also amazing, as we used the library rooms which looked amazing with the fireplace and decorations for winter. I can also say here that Mendenhall is SO accommodating and knows how to deal with anything! We had our ceremony in a church and were told to allow 1.5 hours for the rehearsal. We got done in a little less than an hour, so everyone arrived 45 minutes early. Mendenhall easily adapted and got the bar and appetizers going right away and even extended the social hour a bit so the guests that were not at the rehearsal could still enjoy. Very professional! We also planned to have an afterparty and ordered late night food, which our guests thought was just the nicest touch! Mendenhall has a shuttle that transported guests right from the Grand Ballroom to the restaurant so guests didn't have to walk to the bar! We were greeted by the 2 bartenders as soon as we arrived and the food was promptly put out. I appreciated that they accommodated our later ending reception, since the kitchen typically closes earlier that we had our food being served.

Our experience with Mendenhall Inn was absolutely incredible. From the venue itself, the location, the amenities, the inclusions. down to the staff we worked with- it was all wonderful! We live in Oregon, from PA originally so we had the wedding there for friends and family to easily attend, but planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away poses many struggles. Dottie was our day-of coordinator, but she certainly helped me way more than just the day of. She was always easily reachable and quick to respond, and her responses were always helpful and informative. Planning a wedding is difficult- often when you get married you have no idea how to plan a wedding- having someone who has professional insight was invaluable. The staff set all of our decor up exactly as we hoped, the place looked great. A special shout out to Mario, the maitre d, who was so amazing the day of! He helped us rehearse, coordinated the wedding that day, AND somehow made sure our entire wedding party never went without a drink in our hand if we wanted it! I highly recommend Mendenhall Inn, as this review highlights, it was everything we hoped for in a venue and more!

I got married on August 31st at the beautiful grand ballroom. Both Ceremony & reception at the same venue with 210 guests. It was indeed the wedding of my dreams. The spectacular staircase was a perfect entrance for my wedding entourage, the professional staff & scrumptious food for all & more. I want to thank Ghianna Vittaliano (sales) for organizing the perfect wedding & reception for us. I am highly pleased with her professional manner, her attentiveness shows her dedication & service for her clients. I also want to compliment Mario (Maitre D) for his excellent service. His ability to multi task, welcomed guests, supervised the staff from start to finish made our event a successful one. Overall, I highly recommend Mendenhall Inn, a great place to have & will surely make your event a successful one.

I cannot say enough nice things about Mendenhall! They decorated, took care of all my things, and created the perfect wedding for me and my husband! The packages they have are amazing, we went with the Silver Package and got everything we needed and more! From the centerpieces, dinner choices, cake, and beautiful ballroom, it was ALL great! We worked with Gianna and she is the sweetest person ever! She made sure all my ideas happened and that my wedding day was perfect. Our guests mentioned multiple times that our food was the best wedding food that they have ever had. The food and service were top notch!! I HIGHLY recommend Mendenhall!

From the minute we went on property for our tour, my husband and I knew we wanted our venue to be at mendenhall inn. Dottie and Gianna just made our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be. The food was amazing, our guests said our signature drink was delicious, and the decor was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough! The Mendenhall Inn is a gorgeous wedding reception venue with delicious food and an amazing staff!! My husband & I had our reception in the Grand Ballroom on May 25, 2019. Dottie, the wedding director, went above and beyond to make our wedding spectacular. From the moment I met her, I felt an instant connection. She was SO sweet, organized, and enthusiastic!!! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was responsive to all my questions via email, phone, and in person. She always had helpful suggestions, and she took time to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be & more!! All of our guests had a blast. Our guests told us that the food at our wedding was the best (the seafood bar was definitely a guest favorite). The Platinum Package truly lives up to its name...from the cocktail hour to the entree options to the amazing desserts. I highly recommend the Mendenhall to anyone who is getting married. Every member of the staff was professional and made sure that my guests & I felt special at the wedding. Dottie and her entire staff were outstanding. From the very first time we met to the final days and to the most beautiful wedding reception, Dottie provided us top notch service. Always courteous, helpful, reassuring, and professional. The Mendenhall Grand Ballroom was the absolute perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. Capturing her dream of luxury with a sense of warmth, the Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall and its incredible staff delivered beyond our expectations. The abundance of delicious food and the white glove service was so very impressive. If we need to host another beautiful event, we most certainly will return.

I live out of state, and Dottie and the rest of the team and Mendenhall made planning my wedding so easy. I loved that Mendenhall was a one-stop shop and had the hotel onsite for our many out of town guests. The space was amazing, as was the food! The whole evening went off without an issue and I couldn't be more pleased.

I could not be happier with our choice for a wedding venue. Mendenhall met my extremely high expectations! I first started working with Becky but she moved to a different position at the company and the transition to Dottie was seamless. I met with Dottie to discuss everything that I had previously discussed with Becky and Dottie did not miss a beat. She understood exactly what I wanted in terms of how I wanted the venue to look and she made sure I was 100% satisfied. Our personal server was amazing - I was never without a drink in my hand! The hotel staff was friendly and our hotel room was beautiful. Our guests raved about the food and service! My wedding was exactly what I pictured and what I wanted and I am so thankful to Mendenhall for that. As a tip, we took our wedding pictures at Longwood Gardens, and even in March before everything bloomed, it was so beautiful and I know my pictures will be amazing! I hIGHLY recommend that you book your event at Mendenhall!

The Mendenhall is a stellar venue. The staff made sure everything went off without a hitch, the food was superb, and the ballrooms themselves are beautiful. The one complaint I got from guests, though, is that the bar was too slow, understaffed at times, and that one of the two bartenders poured very weak drinks. I didn't notice that, though. For the price, I would definitely recommend the Mendenhall!

My husband and I got married on March 2 in the Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall. I loved that the complex has everything you need. With our ceremony we got a hotel room, flowers, cake, and all the table linens and catering under one roof. The pricing is very transparent and reasonable. I loved the grand ballroom with the staircase and the atrium, it really made for a great evening. We had about 150 guests and there was definitely room for more. We got prime rib and chicken Marsala for our meals. The vegetarian option was a vegetable wellington which made it accommodating for vegan guests. The prime rib is enormous and all of the food is delicious, we got many compliments. The weekend of our wedding there was a bus tour which used many of the rooms and the Mendenhall coordinated with Concordville Best Western Plus to provide rooms with a free shuttle for overflow guests. I have nothing but great things to say about the Mendenhall, it made planning easier for me and made for a great day for my husband and I.

The Mendenhall was a fantastic venue! We worked with Becky and she was great! I emailed her so many times and she was always so prompt in answering my questions and she is so nice to work with. Choosing the Mendenhall made wedding planning so much easier. Becky and her team took care of so many things! You really get so much for your money at this venue, on the day of the wedding we were able to just have fun and not worry about coordinating anything. We also had many out of town guests at our wedding and it was great to have a hotel venue where all the guests could stay. My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding turned out and that we chose Mendenhall Inn!

Mendenhall was the perfect reception venue for our wedding!! Becky was responsive to all our emails and attentive to every detail throughout the planning process. The food was fantastic and the staff was wonderful on the day of the event, we didn't have to worry about a thing! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone! :)

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Mendenhall - we really cannot say enough positive things about how kind, friendly, and helpful the staff was during the entire process. Dottie was our contact person throughout the planning and she was always incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive to questions. They did a beautiful job setting up the space. The food was delicious, the hotel was accommodating, and we were confident that everything would be handled perfectly. Many guests stayed at the hotel and we used the bar for an afterparty, which was a fun option to have. It ended up raining all day, and the shuttle at the hotel ended up driving the wedding party around so that we wouldn't get wet, which was so thoughtful. We cannot thank Dottie and the Mendenhall enough for all of the hard work they put into our wedding. Without a doubt they exceeded every expectation we had - it was the best decision we made to have our wedding at the Mendenhall!

The entire experience of our recent (May 2018) wedding in the Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall Inn was smooth and virtually flawless. Working with coordinator Becky was always easy: she communicated readily and in a timely manner and dealt well with our separate wedding planner. The day-of staff were also exceptional, making it so that we as the couple and our families felt like we had absolutely nothing to worry about except relaxing and enjoying ourselves - which we certainly did! The food was beyond delicious, and the service was catered to keeping the bride and groom happy, with personalized touches like allowing us to order different upgraded entrees if we wanted to and checking in with us repeatedly throughout the night to ensure we always had food, drink, and anything else we might require. We highly recommend Mendenhall for a lovely wedding experience, as the accommodations for your guests are also stellar now that they have recently remodeled!

Mendenhall Inn was absolutely amazing. Dottie Sansala is so wonderful. Every small detail was handled beautifully. Start to finish- no stress. I highly recommend this venue . If you want a wonderful wedding- book the Mendenhall!

Mendenhall was the most perfect venue. The grand ballroom is absolutely beautiful and Becky made the whole wedding planning process there a breeze. Food was excellent!

We worked with Dottie and her team and they exceeded all our expectations. She was there throughout the entire planning process, and answered a million questions for me. She listened to all my ideas and help me make them all happen! The day of, the staff made sure that everything was set up and running perfectly. I had no idea our backdrop had broke. Her team worked quickly to fix it and make sure it looked amazing. I could not recommend them more!

We could not have been more impressed with how everything went for us on our wedding day at the Mendenhall. Becky and Dottie did great at answering all of our questions, being there when we needed them and accommodating to the crazy ideas we had in our minds. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and nothing went wrong. ONE complaint we did have was that after our reception, we invited our guests to the main bar “Alexander’s” for an after party, we put a lot of money into having food provided and everything but the staff in the bar were rude from the minute we walked in to the minute they were screaming sassy remarks to get us to leave the bar. My father, the father of the bride and me, the bride did voice our thoughts to the bartenders and they were still just as rude. Very unprofessional and disheartening. I will be voicing this to the sales and management.

Mendenhall Inn was our glass slipper. A one-stop-shop that takes care of so much that you start to feel like you’re leaving something out! The per-person price they give you is the price you pay. No surprise fees or gratuity. You only pay for extras you add. Even the cake vendor they use was great. Becky was the main coordinator that assisted us and she answered every question we had, leaving no stone unturned. Leading up to the day, they are very thorough, making sure they are covering all your bases. Becky and Dottie both went above and beyond to help us prepare and make sure every detail for our wedding was in place. They are super flexible and do everything they can to accommodate all your needs. Having the lounge there for our guests made for a great after-party and the hotel was so nice. Many of our guests came to us in the weeks after our wedding to tell us it was one of the best wedding receptions they had ever been to. We received many compliments on the food, environment and service. They really made our day so seamless and easy. Can’t say enough good things.

My husband and I had our ceremony on the patio outside, our cocktail hour in the Atrium, and our reception in the Gold Ballroom at the Mendenhall Inn. We cannot rave enough about how wonderful this venue is! Many of our guests commented on how the food was delicious. We worked with Becky throughout our wedding planning process and she was amazing! She was quick to answer any questions or requests we had, no matter how big or small. We would definitely recommend the Mendenhall to anyone who is thinking about using it as their venue!

this is our top choice for many reasons but specifically I was having a hard time figuring out a schedule that worked for my dad and fiance to see the venue , i made multiple calls to the Mendenhall and they were so understanding and incredibly sweet. which just makes us want to have our special their even more . they try to make this process as least stressful as possible and I greatly appreciate that. I can not wait to work with the staff on our wonderful day .

My husband and I can literally not say enough good things about Mendenhall, and about Dottie in particular! Her organization and attention to detail helped make the planning process so smooth, easy, and even fun – she was truly a delight to work with. She was always responsive to our questions and communicated with us frequently to keep us on track with planning the reception. She also gave great insight into how to handle various details for the big day, not just for the reception but for the ceremony and our photos too! The entire staff at Mendenhall was incredibly friendly and accommodating as well. In addition, the food for the cocktails and the dinner was one of the highlights for us and for many of our guests. Overall, we would highly recommend Mendenhall for any major event!

What an amazing experience! My wife and I worked with Dottie and had our reception in the Gold Ballroom. Dottie was so personable, friendly and on point that she made all of the craziness of our planning a breeze. She worked with us to make sure our biggest needs were met, and helped us handle every last minute snafu quickly and discreetly. She has everything together so that we knew when we owed what information, and our guests loved the reception! The food was fantastic (we went with the Filet Mignon and North Atlantic Salmon) and we're still hearing about it 3 weeks later! You will not regret celebrating any part of your day at the Mendenhall!

We got married on June 30th. From the moment we arrived to check out the next day, the staff at the mendenhall was amazing!! Dottie was a huge help in planning our reception and made my dream come to life. People are still calling me to tell me that the food they had was the best at any wedding they had ever been to. You won’t be disappointed!

We got married in the Gold Ballroom at the Mendenhall!! Everything was wonderful, especially the wedding coordinator, Dottie! She is so welcoming and makes sure that ever last detail is planned and that the couple can be worry free the day of the wedding! She was even there to help out the day of the wedding!! We had a lot of guests complement us on how elegant and beautiful the whole experience was! Dottie is very approachable and was more than happy to answer my many emails and questions!! I highly recommend the Mendenhall!

We were absolutely BLOWN away with how wonderful this venue was. We had 250 guests in the grand ballroom, with enough space for all. Becky was so fantastic helping us get ready for the day. We really also received a great deal with TONS of food (which we keep hearing about to this day!) that was so delicious. Beautiful place.
