We cannot say enough amazing things about Nile and his team! Having someone capture such a special day in our lives was so important to us, and we are beyond grateful for the beau...
tiful job he did. Our wedding day went by so quickly, and being able to look back and relive all of those special moments through our video is something we will cherish forever. He captured the emotions, the little details, and all the moments that made our day so special in such a beautiful way. We are so thankful to have these memories to look back on for years to come and to one day share with our future family. If you’re looking for someone to capture your wedding day and turn those moments into memories you can relive forever, we highly recommend Nile and his team! Thank you for giving us something so meaningful to look back on. 🤍
Nile and Theresia truly went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. They were so warm, kind, and personable, and they immediately made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed in...
front of the camera.
They stayed past their scheduled time to make sure they captured everything and even helped coordinate with vendors after our wedding coordinator had left early. One moment that really stands out to me was when our limo arrived to pick us up. I had accidentally left my phone somewhere and had no way to communicate with the driver, so Nile and Theresia stepped in and handled it for me without hesitation. It was such a small thing, but in that moment it meant so much and was one less thing for me to worry about.
They went far beyond what we expected from our videographers, and we are so grateful we had them there to capture our wedding day. They were not only wonderful to work with, but genuinely caring and helpful throughout the entire day. We cannot recommend Nile and Theresia enough!
One suggestion I would have for future couples would be to offer an “ultimate” or all-inclusive package where all fees and any potential additional costs are built in upfront. Having everything covered and knowing the full cost before the wedding would make the planning process even more seamless and give couples one less thing to worry about.

His drone footage was fabulous as well. Nile took the time to make an absolutely intriguing teaser video and a spectacular highlight video! I would recommend Nile to capture your event- you will not regret it!
Nile was a dream come true.
When I first got engaged, one of the things I knew I had to have was a wedding videographer. In life, moments are fleeting, even the most special ones...
, and it’s difficult to remember everything without photographic or video documentation. So, my quest to find the perfect videographer began and after many inquiries, I found Nile. I watched many videos of other weddings he captured and what made Nile unique was his documentary approach to weddings. The interviews and focus on special moments made it much more engaging than a standard, long-form wedding video.
My husband and I instantly connected with Nile. He has a sense of calm that is contagious with just the right amount of gentle assertiveness and straightforwardness I needed. Nile went over and beyond his role of a videographer and provided us with much advice and information pertaining to our wedding day. I should have taken more of it, to be honest, he’s very knowledgeable. I don’t think I would have been as prepared for the day without him. Not just me, but my sister, and others too. He was doing his job and more that day, trust me.
Since my wedding, I have received nothing but compliments about the moments Nile captured and my husband and I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with him. We couldn’t be happier with Nile and the footage he captured of our wonderful day.
Perfect Videographer for a special day
I would highly recommend Mendocino Photo and video, to anyone wanting to have their special day captured. Nile was very attentive and helpful...
throughout the months leading up to my wedding. We had two meetings before the wedding to sort out the special details in our wedding and the schedule of the wedding. The final product we received met our expectations, my husband and I couldn’t be more happier with Mendocino Photo and Video’s work

ies, brought happy tears, and matched the music perfectly. His talent for storytelling and editing helped us preserve our day in a truly beautiful way, highlighting moments we might have missed and eloquently telling our love story. He was warm, caring, professional, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the process. We will treasure this film forever and are deeply grateful for his exceptional work. Full five stars all the way! A truly worthwhile investment! Highly recommend! Thank you, Nile Sprague. ♥️

h made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, he blended in seamlessly that we were often unaware of the camera.
The photographs and videos are beautiful, timeless and elegant. Working with him was an absolute pleasure. We recommend him to any couple looking for someone who genuinely cares, respects boundaries, and delivers exceptional, natural-looking work.

e is extremely organized and met with us multiple times to ensure he knew everything needed to support us on our wedding day. When the day came around, his calm demeanor was very soothing and helped us stay in the moment. He went above and beyond in every possible way and even stayed past his contracted time because we were running behind schedule and he knew we’d want footage of our first dances, which was so kind of him to do. The turnaround for our highlight reel was only a few days and was absolutely mesmerizing. The way he captured the magic of the day was truly phenomenal and beyond anything we had hoped for, and we were so happy to have an artifact delivered so soon after the wedding. We even requested additional video packages because we were so impressed with his work and how he told the story of our day! This says a lot because originally we were on the fence about hiring a videographer at all. Above all, it was really important to us that our vendors be LGBTQ-friendly, especially our photographer and videographer who would be working with our wedding party, and Nile was so inclusive and great at working with every single one of our loved ones. If you are looking for a someone you can trust to capture your day beautifully, look no further.
We made probably the best decision we could ever make in hiring Nile Sprague.

lous human beings I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with in my life.
The quality of his work is nothing short of astounding.
He is not cheap and that's a reflection of the shear priceless value of the work he produces.
He genuinely cares about you, the customer, and wants to create something that you'll watch with tear-filled eyes in 25 years remembering the most important day of your life.
Nile creates memories. He creates treasures.
He creates heirlooms to be shown to your children's children.
Don't make the mistake of hiring anyone else.
Nile is the man to hire.
Nile was very thoughtful and helped us create a wedding video that we love!
Nile at Mendocino Photo and Video is a true master of his craft. What sets him apart isn't just his exceptional videography skills (although he has that in spades!) - it's his tho...
ughtful approach to the entire process, which, as we learned, starts long before a camera gets turned on. Before our celebration, he invested considerable time in understanding our vision and provided invaluable guidance on how to capture the best possible footage. This included meetings, timeline suggestions, and how we can make the most of his skills to capture the most optimal footage. He really took time to understand the vision we had for documenting our celebration.
On the day of our event, Nile's calm and grounding presence was exactly what we needed. He has this remarkable ability to be everywhere while remaining unobtrusive, capturing authentic moments without disrupting their natural flow. His experience and ability to read the room allowed him to anticipate and capture meaningful moments that might have otherwise been missed.
The final edited content tells our story beautifully - creating a chronicle of our celebration that we'll treasure and share for years to come. Of all the decisions we had to make planning our special day, working with Nile was one of the BEST ones. His professionalism, talent, and genuine care make him an absolute gift to work with!
Nile at Mendocino Photo and Video is an exceptional videographer, and we'd recommend him to anyone and everyone looking to capture their special day. We called on him only a month ...
prior to getting married because we had some family who could no longer make it, and he made it so easy to work together, even with only 30 days to make it happen. He didn't skip any corners, he met with us to understand our needs and wants on the day, and to just learn more about us as a couple. He's got high EQ and that was huge for us.
On the day Nile and his team were absolute professionals in every sense. They struck a great balance between being everywhere to capture all the special moments, while not at all making it feel overbearing or too much. And then the edit they provided afterwards with all the footage is just the perfect keepsake for us to look back on for life. Thank you Nile and team!!!

ook time to meet with us in person well ahead of the wedding and we were impressed with the wide array of video footage/packages he offered. We felt he was invested from day one and really delivered a beautiful product for us. We will treasure our wedding video for always. Thank you Nile and team!

pture our moment without the benefit of a ceremony. Nile did an excellent job telling our story with various interviews and his expertise shines in the most precious moments. We are amazed how he captured it all and our video tells an emotional story filled with joy. We would definitely hire him again and the finished product went above and beyond our expectations. He sent us multiple videos to get our input before the Final Cut. It was so easy working with him and we absolutely love our video!

he process, demonstrated his breadth of experience, answered our many questions, and was generous, flexible, and good-humored.
When reviewing other videographers, we watched example wedding videos that felt rather strung together and less connected. We chose Mendocino Photo & Video as our wedding videographer because their portfolio displays well-crafted videos that have more of a narrative.
We’re very happy with our decision and we love the videos that Nile and his team produced. His skill with piloting drones is also quite impressive. We highly recommend Mendocino Photo & Video.

hots ensuring his ability to capture the perfect moments while not disrupting the flow of the service and the natural interactions of the couple and guests. This created a level of authenticity that seems to be missing from most wedding videos with the high quality scenes you would expect from a professional videographer.
The final product was an absolute masterpiece brimming with the artistry of story telling and accurately capturing the joy and excitement of the special day.
I couldn't Mendocino Photo & Video (MPV) more although they really should be considered the MVP for any wedding.

But my wife and I are so happy we did! The video was the best investment we could have made to memorialize our wedding. The eight minute video he did brings that magical date back to life time and time again, in full, love-drenched color! So much more so than still photos could.
Nile is a master at interviewing members of the wedding party, the bride and groom, closest family, and then editing the very best, most insightful comments, with great music, speeches, vows and special, gorgeous moments, in a manner that told our love story beautifully.
Our wedding video was super easy to share with family and friends, and convey, to dear ones unable to attend, what was experienced there.
Now we, our loved ones, and our descendants, will have a time machine to remember the most fabulous event of our lives! Thank you Nile!
Mendocino Photo and Video was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Nile took the time to get to know us as a couple, gave us great feedback ...
along the way, and helped us come up with a game plan to capture our wedding where we could fully enjoy our day worry-free. We had so much going on at our wedding, and Nile was able to capture it all so beautifully and put together an incredible teaser and highlights video. He has an immense talent for cinematography and video editing and his work wonderfully brought out all the rich emotions during our wedding and told such a captivating story. Can't recommend enough!!!
Nile was our videographer for our Mendocino wedding and did an amazing job capturing the event. Nile met with us early on in the process and walked us through his style and vision ...
for capturing the event while also incorporating all of our feedback and goals for the video footage. We really enjoyed Nile's vibe and he made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. The end result was beautiful - we felt like we were right back there on our magical wedding day and also got to see many extra details that we didn't get to fully experience during the chaos of the day, especially the heartfelt video messages from our best friends. We would highly recommend working with Nile for any event!!

limpse of what we would like and see our day through our eyes and I believe that is one of the reasons he did such a great job. He did a phenomenal job at our wedding and after. He is very professional but also kind and it shows through his work. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer/videographer. I will be seeking him out for future photo/ video ideas.

ring. He then also arrived at our venue early to scout the best places and went above and beyond to help us with everything and prepare with us all the timeline and photo details beforehand. We also really appreciated how calm and unrushed everything felt while getting our photos done, he made it a really enjoyable and stress-free experience. The pictures came out beautifully - our venue was heavily shaded in the redwoods forest so not necessarily the easiest to capture, but he did so great! We are so happy we had him document our wedding and capture a piece of our magical day.
Nile at Mendocino Photo was amazing! The videos we received were perfect and something my wife and I will cherish for a lifetime. The artistry of the angles and shots are second to...
none. He was able to capture words for our friends and family to interlace them with the video which was very special. Nile was very accommodating and understanding to our crazy schedule and requests we made both before and after the wedding. I would very highly recommend using Mendocino Photo & Video. You will not regret it.
