We had no issues with Men's Wearhouse. Personally, I used the one in North Olmstead and the staff there were very helpful in getting me what I wanted (bought, did not rent). For my groomsmen, they were scattered throughout the US which is one of the primary reasons I chose Men's Wearhouse. They experienced no issues with getting their suits in other states/cities.
The employees of men's warehouse were very uninformed regarding suit rentals for weddings and unhelpful. We went into the store one day to find out more information and no one could answer any of our questions, once we were finally able to speak to someone.
When my fh was fitted he told them he wanted his pants long and shirt size he is 6'2 and wanted tux how he wanted they said we do not recommend, he replied I don't care that's what I want I'm paying over $300 dollars.
Well day comes to pick it up 2 days before wedding. Shirt is tight pants were not length he wanted shoes were not the ones we picked. The place was packed with alteration problems people were being told not sure if we can have done by Saturday.
The lady told my fh well that shirt looks how it should and we don't have a bigger one available it's a very busy month.
I do not recommend going here oh and the pants actually ripped in the crotch right after ceremony
We used a few different locations in Cleveland and Michigan amongst our groomsmen. This is obviously a major advantage of Men's Wearhouse since we had people across different states needing suits. We liked the Troy, MI location - this is what we used for my husband. I thought the associates were helpful and treated us much more respectfully than their more expensive competitors. I will say I was very angry with how they handled the COVID-19 situation and closures. Two of our groomsmen had not yet picked up their suits when closures began and the individual stores did not call to let them know they would be closing, and that there was a last opportunity to pick up the suits they had already paid for. Every other shop did this, including the small alterations shop where my wedding dress was, and I felt it was simple and very helpful. When we contacted corporate customer service and they said there was no way they could contact the local store manager/associate to work something out for pickup. What kind of company doesn't have a way to contact their managers? Overall, they were just not helpful in this difficult situation and I think they could've done a much better job with customer service.
My husband and I used the Men's Wearhouse in mentor and had the worst experience. From the first time we walked in the door, something went wrong. The had multiple chances to correct problems and never did. They messed up the grooms suit and it came down to a friend picking it up the day of the wedding and his changing his jacket as he stood ready to meet me for the first look. I could include all the issues we had but overall the staff was rude, made far too many mistakes on one order and never once apologized for all the stress and inconvenience caused. Hopefully other locations are better.
My husband and I visited Men’s Warehouse in Boardman, Ohio for our bridal party’s needs and were beyond impressed with their selection and customer service. The stylists we worked with got us the best possible deal for our groomsmen and father of the bride. Because of this, we decided to have everyone buy a suit instead of renting. For under $250, our men got a jacket, pants, and shoes that they can rewear again and again! Since our bridal party is scattered across the United States, it was nice to pick a chain that has so many locations for our groomsmen to visit. Their alterations were affordable and of top quality. We would certainly recommend Men’s Warehouse to our friends for their formal wear needs.
We worked with Amber at the Fairlawn, OH location and she was just awful. Many of our groomsmen went to the Strongsville location, which tells me the problem is not exclusive to one store. We went to one of those bridal shows where you can spin the wheel or whatever to get a discount. So Tuxedo Junction offered me a great deal, which included 2 free tux rentals (one for the groom and one for a groomsman of choice). Someone, I'm not sure who, called me from Men's Wearhouse and told me they would give us the same deal or better if we went with them instead. So we did, we went in and worked that day with another sales associate because Amber was too busy. Fast forward to a few mos later, all the guys have gone in and gotten measured. My fiance calls to change the ring bearers tuxes to suits because the tuxes for the little guys were the same price as tuxes for adults. Amber tells Ross if he changes the ring bearers to suits, we will no longer be eligible for the second free tux. When I called her, and told her I was unhappy because she was obviously trying to pull a fast one (we were promised 2 free tuxes if we had at least 8 addtl. rentals, which we did), Amber threw my fiance under the bus and literally told me he didn't know what he was talking about. She also told me she never told him that, and that there were no issues with getting a second free tux. Fast forward several more months ahead, not only did 2 of the tuxes come in COMPLETELY the wrong size, but the clasp on my fiance's (the groom!) pants was broken! When he went to get the new pants, they told him he must not have known how to clasp the pants, but they got new ones for him anyways. How condescending. I am telling all my engaged friends not to use Men's Wearhouse for their wedding rentals. Also, fire Amber. She is the absolute rudest person I've ever worked with.
Good service, good quality. No problems
Customer service was always helpful and never pushy. We were able to find a vest suit on clearance for my husband to wear for our destination wedding. It was perfect!
My husband, his groomsmen, and our fathers all rented their tuxes from Men's Wearhouse. We were pleased with the quality of tuxes that were rented and the men all looked great in them.
Our guys looked great!
We loved them! Great quality tuxedos, not to over priced.
Men's Wearhouse was perfect. The tuxedos my husband and his groomsmen wore were absolutely gorgeous and the service was wonderful. Every request was accommodated and I greatly appreciate their wonderful customer service. They are very reliable and I highly recommend. Thank you!
very friendly & we got a discount!
I rented 12 of their most expensive tuxes and they totally screwed up put entire party. My guys went for Several fittings and eveything was Still wrong. I don't comprehend how you can specialize in tux rentals and have things 3-4 sizes too big or small after several fittings. My brother never got the correct jacket. All the tuxes came in at different time.. it was a nightmare.
Wow, when I saw my husband the in the Vera Wang Black tux...just wow. It was such a sexy and flattering suite, it was hard to keep my hands off of him in front of everyone. Vera got it right.
This place was great until 3 days before the wedding when all the guys got refitted two weeks before the wedding. NONE of the guys tuxes fit and everyone had to go back 2 or 3 times within three days of the wedding to get the right sizes. They did a terrible job measuring.
