We used Men's Wearhouse in Boulder, CO for the groom and groomspeople at our wedding.
Pros:
They did have a suit that fit our groomswoman, the orders arrived on time, and we were able to coordinate across multiple states to get rentals for everyone. We had to overnight an additional shirt (see details below), which also arrived on time. Pick up and drop off were very easy.
Cons:
I went in to the store to get input on incorporating our wedding colors in to our groomswear. I was told by the staff to go online or to call their corporate office, as they do not help with design in the store for rentals. I actually had to interrupt a staff member texting on their phone to even get this answer. Additionally, they don't have any of the rental items (jackets, vets, etc.) in the store, so you're pretty much at the mercy of the online photos. I was able to speak with someone from their corporate office over the phone to get design input. The rentals are only available two days before the wedding so it doesn't give you much time if there are any issues.
I was extremely disappointed in the measurement process. My husband has a larger neck, and the shirt they ended up renting for him was a 5XL (typically he's an 2XL in MW styles). While it did fit his neck, the rest of the shirt was gigantic. They were able to rush order a 2XL shirt for him, and he ended up wearing one the 5X with a jacket at dinner and swapping for the 2XL without the jacket and the top button undone later in the night. I wish they would have suggested a custom shirt or given us some kind of warning that fit could be an issue. They did immediately order a new shirt once we brought the issue to their attention, but I would have expected the staff who sell menswear for a living to have brought it up while we still had time to do something about it.
We used the Men's Wearhouse in Fort Collins, Colorado for the groom's party suit rentals and I am disappointed with the service we had. Anytime we had to come in, we had long waits (even with only 1 other person in the store) and felt like the staff didn't want to help us.
The only reason they have two stars for this review is because the rest of the party had fine service when they went in and the suits were stunning the day of the wedding. However, as the bride and groom, we received little to no help with our order, and despite our note that no one but us could change the party, this was ignored. This led to a great deal of back and forth and more effort on top of the other wedding plans.
If you do us this location for suit rentals, ask for Alex as he was the only one who really gave us service that was top notch. He ensured we had no questions, that everything fit well, and that we were taken care of.
Otherwise, I would recommend going through Black Tux with David's Bridal.
super helpful, let us cancel our contract for groomsmen when we had to cancel our wedding due to COVID 19 but opend up just to give our groom his suit as we still got married on our orginal day!
The suits looked amazing! So so happy with how handsome my husband looked (along with his groomsmen)! They were very flexible (as we lived out of state) and accommodating!
We went with MW because we knew that their large selection would include something that would fit our 7'1" best man. I wish we had done more research into trying to find any other option. The pricing we were quoted on our visit was not what our 'men were charged when they went (to various locations nationwide) to purchase their suits. The ties that we selected - written on the sheet with our sales consultant - were not entered into the computer (and were unavailable at the location when our second groomsman went to make his purchase). It's your typical bait-and-switch, over-promise-under-deliver shop that's just in it for a quick (over-priced) buck. You'll find better quality and value elsewhere.
We used Mens Wearhouse in Colorado Springs to rent Tux/Suits for our big day. We chose them because some of the guys live in Denver so this would be an easy option for them to go to any location to be fitted and pick up. I was not impressed. The day we went in to set everything up was a mess. The consultant that helped us didn't even really set any examples out to look at. She would show us the colors and tell us to pick, then the colors disappeared. I ended up taking the samples over to a tux myself to make sure things looked ok together. The pricing was very high, and quality not great. We were very stressed the last couple days before our wedding because some of the tux's weren't even in the store yet, including my husbands! They also ordered the wrong pants for my Father In Law, luckily they got a new pair the day before the wedding for him. I would recommend using a different vendor for suits/tux's, we were never very happy with Men's Wearhouse and spent a fortune on renting clothing through them unfortunately.
We went to the Park Meadows location and were so pleased with all of our men's attire. They had so many options and got us a great deal on all of the suits we purchased. Everyone looked so clean and fresh and then walked away from the wedding with a suit to keep. While we were super impressed with the service and attire, things moved very slowly there and took a long time to purchase at the counter. Otherwise, it was so smooth and Dave did a great job of working with our out of town groomsmen and making sure they were happy with their suits. Highly recommend, just allow yourself a couple hours at each appointment.
Men's Warehouse was the worst part of my wedding They sent several of the wrong color vests and wrong size pants up to Vail. My husband was dealing with them on the phone and missed our wedding photos which were supposed to be done before the ceremony. Dealing with this threw off the entire timeline of the day and put us both in bad moods on our wedding day.
I would never recommend them to anyone.
Men's Wearhouse in Cherry Creek gets the job done. Ask for Angelo. He made the entire process super easy. I couldn't have asked for someone better to work with!
This is for the location in Lakewood CO in the Lakwood Commons on Wadsworth.
We used this location for our wedding. Some of the guys who needed suits were in other states, so we wanted to make sure they all got the same thing when they went in to get fitted. My father in law and the ring bearer went in to another location to get fit. Turns out, this location didn't put these two on the list for the wedding party. They also put in the wrong color vest. So we had to deal with that.
Fast forward to a couple days before the wedding. All the suits were to be picked up at this location. All of them were ready ... except the grooms'. Somehow, his, and only his, had the pick up date changed to two weeks after the wedding. So the groom didn't have his suit. No one could explain how this happened or offered anything to fix it. They said it would be overnighted and they guaranteed it would be there at 8 a the following day. (The day before the wedding.) The next day we get a call saying it isn't there yet. We go do some other errands. Then my in-laws are eating nearby and see a fed ex truck. We don't get a call. An hour after they see this, we stop by. No one was looking for our suit in the boxes. No one had any idea what was happening. The manager who was "dealing with it" had left and not told the employees there that this was a priority. They eventually find it in the last box after being asked multiple times to find it. None of them seemed to care.
The next day, at our wedding, my father in law tells me him and my husband had to change jackets because my husbands was too small. We had told the employee the previous day it seemed tight and he ignored us. So I had to call the store DURING my wedding to tell them they messed up again.
This location was the only problem I had during my wedding planning. They messed up everything from start to finish. None of the employees communicated that this was urgent. None of them seemed to care to make this right. I would never recommend this location to a bride, since they made so many mistakes from the get go. Steer clear of the location, everyone. They don't care about your special day and will not make haste to correct their mistakes.
The Vera Wang Black tuxes are truly beautiful and coordinate perfectly with the bridesmaid dresses; however, the service has not been as good. When we call we cannot talk to anyone except the person we started the process with, the tuxedo manager. We have to leave a message for our tux manager, we do not hear back, and we have to call again until the person is in - no one else can help us but the tux manager. We were promised a color sample when we made our decision to use Men's Warehouse and never received one (because they do not make them). Overall, frustrating to contact the company when my fiancé and I have busy schedules and are planning a wedding.
I cannot speak for the other stores in Colorado, but the Men's Warehouse in Fort Collins is truly horrible. I wish there was a way to give a vendor less than 1 star...I cannot state it enough- do not use this company! Go to Dora Grace Bridal or literally ANY other store that rents tuxes/suits, but DO NOT use these people. For my whole entire wedding, the ONLY vendor that gave me anxiety was Men's Warehouse! Here's the first tip- they don't actually have any pocket squares that match their ivory ties. Their ties are extremely short, because they want you to get the vest to hide the tie. Their children's clothing stops at size 8 boys and skips to a small Men's. So my 10-year-old Jr. Groomsman had to actually BUY a tux from a different store, because Men's Warehouse- WHO ARE KNOWN FOR RENTING OUT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND ESPECIALLY WEDDINGS- don't really do very much for weddings.
One of our groomsmen went in to pick up his tux and they put him in a shirt he was swimming in and then told him there is nothing they can do because that's what they thought he measured at (so we had to go to Macy's and buy him the correct shirt). Another groomsman went in and they told him all they could give him was black socks (we rented brown shoes and navy tuxes), so we bought brown socks, but then a different groomsman went in and they gave him brown socks!
On top of this all, they are extremely rude and blatantly lie. They told us that the ties were "extra long." Nope- they came above the belly button of each and every groomsman. Shocker, we ended up having to buy all of the groomsmen ties and matching pocket squares.
I called the store to speak to the manager about all the issues we had. I had been the manager of a large retail store, and I hated getting yelled at, so I remained calm, but just said "Hey I get it, but I am really frustrated, and I feel like there is a lot of work you might need to be doing with your team." He hung up on me, but not before telling me that they would be fine without my business! WHAT?! I didn't even say that.
Basically- just trust me and do NOT use this company. There are some other amazing rental companies (we had a great experience using Dora Grace for rentals for our dads and grandfathers) so that you do not have to go through what my husband and I did with this terrible place.
Would recommend this location.
Men's wear house delivered as they always do in service, however they accidentally gave one of the groomsmen the wrong tux, and it was too late to change by the time we noticed
They helped us out big time
Men's Warehouse made it easy to pick the tuxedos and to get measured and ordered. Upon picking up the tuxedos there were some fit issues that were immediately fixed. I enjoyed working with everyone at this location and would recommend this Men's Warehouse.
Good tics and affordable but make sure you pick drop off date two days after the wedding so you don't get charged with $20 few per tux rental
