We used Men’s Wearhouse for renting tuxedos for our wedding. They looked amazing but we had a hard time getting the correct sizes in for everyone. I’m not sure if different employees measure people differently or what happened. One of our groomsmen had to go back three times that week (already a very stressful week) and he still did not receive the correct size. Besides the issues with getting the correct size in, it is very convenient that they are able to tailor items on the spot.
Honestly, all of our guys looked good. We went to the Zona Rosa location in KCMO and the girl who helped us initially, Sophia I believe, was very rude and had an attitude about everything so that made the experience very stressful. When the tuxes arrived, a couple members of our group had the wrong sized coat and vest. They did get them in in time but it was a hassle for them to have to go back a second time. Pocket squares were missing for multiple groomsmen so we vetoed the pocket squares all together so that they weren’t mix matching. That was also very irritating. We were told that the Joseph Abboud matte black shoes would be in by our wedding and they were not so we then had to use the standard which were extremely uncomfortable and didn’t look nearly as nice. We spent $200 a tux and it was not worth it for the experience we had. I would not recommend.
Men's Wearhouse can provide excellent deals and they are a well oiled machine when it comes to getting your groomsmens' suits in time. However, most of our guys had to go twice because pants arrived too large and one even had uneven jacket sleeve lengths. When my husband went for his final tailoring no one in the store knew how to fold his pocket square and pin it into his front jacket pocket. They're a good deal, have every color in the world for accessories, but run of the mill tailoring.
All of the men looked so good in their suits! Jewell was amazing in his patience with us- we had to come back a couple times to get things perfectly as my bridesmaids dresses changed. Everything was included in the rental- which made me breathe a little easier as I knew all of their shoes would match and their wouldn't be any white socks showing!
The guys looked fabulous! The guys at the Men's Warehouse were so helpful and pleasant to work with. They made the guys look great!
We rented tuxes for the groom, 6 groomsmen, 2 ushers, and a ring bearer. 7 out of 9 guys had no problems, which is nice on a quiz, but doesn't really work out when it's for a wedding, with lots of pictures, and lots of guys from out of town. One groomsmen had to return his tux twice, and ultimately had to have a different one flown in the day of the wedding. Luckily his mom was able to go pick it up, but that really should have never happened. Small changes are understandable, but for the first half of the day it looked like he was wearing a giant's clothes.
So, we chose Men's Warehouse because of all the locations, which really is great, but if that isn't necessary I would not recommend them.
I was very happy with how Men's Warehouse handled our tuxes. Two days before, when the ring bearer got into town, we discovered he had grown too much to fit in the one we ordered. They were able to get a new one in on time, and it looked great. During the picking process, I felt a little pressured to pick more pieces than I wanted (I wanted to just have a vest and tie, but was convicted into a full tux). It ended up looking very nice, but I was still feelin a little overwhelmed by that.
