We had a horrible experience with Men's Wearhouse at the Philadelphia store and in general. At the store, Ty talked a lot without listening to us, made some really sexist comments...
, and actually ended up yelling at me because I wanted to see tie color options. They don't let you try anything on or look at color options on actual clothing items in there. Ty also straight up lied about the amount of time we could have the tuxes for. We were told they could be picked up the weekend before the wedding, which was not actually an option. After that experience, we were hesitant but my husband still opted to work with MW, because he was nervous to use one of the online companies. From then on, every single time my husband called, they told him they had no record of him, causing a brief panic, before they would eventually find his record. The website didn't work as they said it would, meaning that my husband could not make any changes on it and he had to call every time. Luckily, because of our mistrust, we kept checking it, and found items written incorrectly for groomsmen that we were able to fix. For one of our groomsmen, they had the tux delivered to the wrong store, which resulted in my husband driving an unexpected hour and a half during our wedding weekend. Ultimately I have to give them and extra star, because honestly the guys looked GREAT. That being said, it feels like we worked really hard to make sure everyone was wearing the same thing and that they were in the items we asked for. I had so much anxiety about the tuxes leading up to the wedding and knew if there was anything wrong, there would be no time to fix it and I would just have to deal with it. This is not be one of the things that one should have to mentally prepare to go wrong on their wedding day, especially with this giant company that has been around this long. During the whole process, it truly felt like they had never done this before.
My husband got his wedding suit from Men's Wearhouse in Center City. The staff was extremely helpful. He had to get it altered and when he went back to try it on they fixed some is...
sues again for free.
The boys looked amazing! Men's Wearhouse was so accommodating. Thank you! We loved their look!
I am extremely disappointed with Men's Wearhouse. After shopping there for years, I chose them because of their convenience and quality. The number of problems we had with our orde...
r is completely unacceptable. One groomsman received the wrong vest - fortunately they had the correct one at the store and gave him one. We chose the new Vera Wang line of tuxes - but 4 of the 6 rentals had a button fall off at some point in the day. There were also errors and problems with tuxedo rental for the two fathers and the ring bearer. Will never rent from them again.
