ABSOLUTE worst customer service. Used them for a recent wedding and every groom paid a different price and the manager was so rude. The manager was speaking horrible to the sweet s...
eamstress who works there. It was embarrassing. We had multiple people who were completely sized incorrectly and the managers excuse was that there was nothing else they can do. The groom gets ONE wedding. And they could care less.
This was one of the most frustrating pre-wedding experiences I have had so far.
We show up to the store and are greeted by an associate, so far so good. We ask about wedding opti...
ons and are told that there are 3 different possibilities. We can rent, buy off-the-rack, or buy custom. I ask about the differences between the three and immediately another associate comes over and the two of them proceed to speed-talk over each other to "explain" the differences. I ask if each category is written down somewhere for easy comparison and am told that no, there is no document or spreadsheet. So I ask again and start taking notes as they again speed-talk over each other. After about 20 minutes of me asking questions and confirming information, I have a general idea of what the prices are.
We then get to the measurement part which actually goes super smoothly, although I'm not told what my measurements are, nor are they written down, but I'm informed that my associate "never forgets or gets it wrong".
My fiancee tells him the look that we are going for and he proceeds to tell us that he doesn't have a plain white collared shirt for me to try but gives me a silkish pirate shirt to imitate the look (it absolutely did not). As we are trying on various jackets, we are still trying to nail down what the prices are- we were quoted $250 for suit rental but then told that it included shoes, but not certain shoes- that it included ties, but not bow-ties, but yes bow-ties, but not those bow-ties.
Our repeated attempts to see any sort of spreadsheet or written document with this explained was hand-waved away as not necessary. This went on for 2 HOURS until finally we had a coat that we think we liked, and an idea about the rest of the outfit (although difficult because I looked like a terrible Orlando Bloom knockoff under the jacket). As we told him our information at checkout we were assured that he would enter my measurements and send me a link to the clothes we tried on and liked as well as a link for my groomsmen. He seemed mildly perturbed that we weren't going to immediately drop $1200 on suits after that visit but that wasn't a big deal. At this point the experience was a 3/5.
After 2 days I realized that the information I was promised was never going to appear. So I went on the website and re-made the outfit using their UI (which was EXACTLY what I had asked about in the visit regarding spreadsheets for different styles/accessories). Shockingly, that outfit came in at $60 LESS than what we were quoted in-store and included all the accessories we were told were a la carte. And yes, I made sure the brands and style of jacket matched what I tried in the store. We then went back to the store to see what my measurements were and to try on the outfit that I had created online.
We were greeted by a different associate who was clearly not able to find the account that obviously hadn't been made by the first guy but told us that, despite no information regarding measurements, outfits, or even the date of the wedding, our initial associate had put down that we wanted custom suits. And thus began the second attempt at upselling us. This time our patience finally ran out and we left the store, never to return.
In conclusion, this place seems like a shady, incompetent operation designed to confuse the customer into purchasing overpriced suits.
We started at the Brentwood location, and some tried to go to South County, but that didn’t work out. We had groomsmen in other states, and they said it would be fine. We picked ou...
t two navy suits, one you could buy & one rent. That way they could choose. Some weren’t given the option to purchase and some weren’t given the option to rent. A HUGE CLUSTER & awful experience. There were 2 different ties being handed out. We didn’t realize until WEEK OFF. The name could never be found, and it was always a frustrating experience when dealing with them. They messed up the alterations on my father in laws suit, and tried to charge him for the mistake. I will never recommend them. It was a headache of an experience. We were also told if so many people purchased underneath the groom he would get a shopping spree. That was never given, and they weren’t specific on the details.
I have never had so much trouble with customer service. We went to the store 5 different times to order retail suits and left without someone helping my fiancé and I. Called and th...
ey stated they didn’t take appointments so we’ll just have to keep trying. Went to another location where someone finally gave us the time of day and helped us. We have a wedding party that is spread across the country, and they assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem. We can put in our wedding number for them to be sized. Our groomsmen put in the number at the various locations and none of the stores had our number so my fiancé and I just decided to order them all at once and then send them to the locations. Now... none of them are at the right location or even under the correct name....
Both of my daughters chose suits instead of tuxedos. The Men's Warehouse made it easy and affordable. The quality was good. Given the nationwide availability all of the groomsmen...
from out of town were able to find a store near them.
There are a lot of options when selecting a tuxedo. The salesperson was extremely helpful and we ended up with a handsome suit.
They do not require the men to try on the item...
s before they leave the store. Unfortunately, we had a sizing issue that wasn't known until we got home. Luckily, they were able to order a new piece so everyone looked nice on the wedding day.
Ask for Ted! He helped us choose the perfect suit for our bridal party. He also helped my dad get a suit on extremely short notice when things went awry. The suits are pretty good ...
quality for the price. Our only complaint was that some of the guys' coat buttons started falling off after a couple hours, so make sure you bring a needle and thread!
We had some last minute problems with the vest they ordered for the rental didn't fit. They were able to get everything worked out for us but it did add some last minute stress, bu...
t for our time and trouble they discounted everything and made sure we left happy which is great. My husband looked handsome and I was the luckiest woman alive the day we got married.
definitely not the most cost effective choice. however, having groomsmen in multiple locations, mens wearhouse allowed them to be measured at any location nationwide which was a hu...
ge plus. also- the tuxes we picked looked great!
Great to work with! My husband needed rank sewed on to his blues and they got it done super quick and did a great job! Not to mention all my men were very handsome in their tuxes....
Couldn't be happier.
I was very happy with the tuxes for my wedding. My husband, his groomsmen and our fathers didn't have any problems ordering from this store. They were accommodating with fitting my...
dad, who lived in another state than where the wedding was held. We had no problems either with renting or returning tuxes and all of the men looked great.
