I love that they were able to have the bowties/vests be the EXACT color as my bridesmaids dresses. They made the wedding look so nice. They also made it really easy for the guys to...
get/return the tuxes, even the ones that don't live in the area. I loved that they were able to return the tuxes to ANY Men's Wearhouse. My new husband and I were on our honeymoon and already in a different state when we returned his tux. They made it so easy.
I got my wedding dress from David's Bridal. They partner with Men's Wearhouse and offer coupons for tux rentals for the entire bridal party. That was the first deceptive business...
practice. The coupons were for $40 off of each rental, but when I went to the store to see the prices (they do not give prices online), I was told that the prices listed in the store already include $30 off so our coupon was only worth $10 off the price shown. We had attendants from all over the country and with MW being nationwide, we went ahead with them anyway. We picked out a tux with tie, vest and shoes. They wanted to charge $10 for a pocket scarf so I told them we did not need that. About 6 weeks before the wedding I was hearing that the costs were more than I expected. I looked at my father's receipt and saw that they were including the $10 pocket scarf I expressly told them not to include. And two of our groomsmen told me that the sales people told them that *I* requested each groomsman get a second shirt, in case the first got dirty. I was never even told a second shirt was an option, let alone did I request it. I was making every effort to keep the costs down. I also learned that we did not have to get the vest, contrary to what I was told when we selected the package. Being more of a casual wedding I removed the vest and the never requested second shirt from the package to save the groomsman and my father another $30.
When we got the tuxes they were all in decent condition. Returning them the next day was simple and quick. My advice would be to check every item requested and ensure you really want and need it. And double-check again a couple weeks before the event to make sure the groomsmen were not talked into spending more than they have to.
