After reading the reviews for Men's Warehouse, I wasn't expecting much. It appeared very hit or miss. I highly recommend getting the tuxes ASAP and seeing if they were correctly fitted - out of 5 rentals, 3 had to be resized. My husband's vest was a size too big (completely gaping around his arm pits). We went in person to have the next size down and had to wait over 15 minutes and explain why we were there to four different people. Their responses ranged from "not a problem" to "that's how it is suppose to fit". I'm not a perfectionist, but if he had worn it as tight at is could be, it would have looked silly without his coat and STILL did not fit. The comment "it's not going to fit like a custom vest" was thrown at me, which I understand, but it should still somewhat fit. After arguing with the final representative for ten minutes, he finally went in the back, found the smaller size, and guess what, it fit perfectly. Not sure why I had to fight to get such an easy fix. One groomsman didn't get metal, another had to fight to get the sleeves taken up. Once they had our money, they really did not see fit to fix the items unless a good argument was had- what a hassle. Day of the wedding, I realized they had given us the WRONG ties. I had ordered a grey tie for the grey suits of the groomsmen and they gave us light blue ties. It wasn't a huge deal as all the groomsmen had the same tie at least, but still not sure how they mixed those up as I never changed the tie from the original selection. Just a hassle and wouldn't want to deal with them again as they took forever and delivered a sub par experience.
We used the Men's Warehouse location in Winter Garden, FL and bought suits, shirts and pocket squares for the men in the bridal party. They suit selection and quality was very nice as was the 50 percent off deal that was running. The final quoted price was reasonable for the quality.
However, what the representatives in the store failed to mention was that the price was not the set price for everyone in the bridal party. MW pricing is done regionally so while it was one price in Florida, family in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Louisville all paid different prices for the SAME suit. Also, the pocket square that was chosen in the store was not the pocket square that was listed on our order in the store's database. Once we found that out we were able to stop the bridal party for ordering the wrong pocket square but the best man then had to then drive to multiple MW locations to find and buy enough pocket squares for the bridal party.
Even though this is a national company that is seemingly easy to use when your bridal party is stretched across the country, their lack of internal regional coordination made this process unnecessarily difficult.
Men's Warehouse had the exact look I wanted for the guys. The person we talked to was so helpful - I told her a price I was comfortable asking our groomsmen to pay, and she assured me we wouldn't go over that. She kept her word!
Suits were ok not the best looking
We used them with David's Bridal and got lots of discounts!
