Meraki Hair Styling is located in Bozeman Montana, and was established to provide hair styling services for weddings and celebrations alike. Focused on designing the perfect hairstyle results for each individual’s wedding day, Meraki Hair Styling invites you to begin the journey of finding and creating the best hairstyle for the natural you.
Meraki Hair Styling is independently owned and operated by Emily Pattengale, a licensed stylist for the past seven years. In addition to wedding styles and salon services, Emily also teaches aspiring hair stylists at a local academy. She has experience with a plethora of hair types and keeps her knowledge of current day hair trends up to date, but still grounds herself in the faithful classic styles. If you are looking for a hairstyle that is all together you, Meraki Hair Styling is up for any challenge.

Eliminating the worry of traveling time is a service Meraki Hair Styling happily offers, and even prefers. Whether you desire a classic waving curl that blows in the wind, a low loose romantic side swept appeal to reveal your inner beauty, or the sophisticated up-do that makes you feel like a million dollars, your hairstyle can match the one in your dreams at the venue of your choice.
As an extra perk, Meraki Hair Styling offers hair cutting services to all those who are a part of your wedding party, providing a healthy trim at just the right time so your hair is at its very best on your wedding day. Extending this service to a full haircut, neck trim or beard trim/detail for your significant other is highly recommended. This will ensure the whole crew will look absolutely charming as you embark on the most photographed day of your life.
Pre-wedding bridal trials and hair services are performed at the salon in Bozeman Montana. A full lineup of professional Lanza hair care products will be offered to you; the same professional Lanza hair care products that will make your style last well into the evening. However, coming in and getting to experience this lineup is an extra benefit that allows you to gain knowledge and become comfortable with the products Meraki Hair Styling recommends.

Emily was absolutely incredible! I’ve truly never felt more confident with the way my hair looked until she did it! She was so calm, attentive, quick and easy to talk with. I wish I lived in MT so Emily could be my permanent stylist! She made us look and feel so beautiful for my wedding day. My hair is difficult to style and usually falls out or gets messy looking but it stayed put in both the blizzarding snow for our engagement shoot and pouring rain on our wedding day. My bridal party loved the way their styles came out as well. One of my bridesmaids gets her hair/makeup done numerous times per week for work and was the one who helped me find Emily and pointed how much more advanced, professional, and intricate/creative her styles were compared to others. Please do yourself a favor and book Emily! She is also so sweet, caring, and easy to work with.

Emily is the best! She is so talented, and really takes the time to understand your hair and bring your vision to life. Emily did hair for myself (bride), mother of bride, and three bridesmaids for our wedding. She was so sweet and lovely to work with. All of us had very different hair and she made all of us feel so beautiful. All of our hair styles held up amazingly well, even after going outside for photos in heavy snowfall, and with hours of wild dancing. Highly highly recommend Emily for your hair needs!

Emily did such an incredible job for my wedding! She was very communicative and transparent throughout the whole booking process, and flexible as the timetable and schedule changed in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I'm not local to Bozeman, and she was even able to squeeze in a hair trial for me early on in my wedding week. She did hair for me, my three bridesmaids, and both mothers, and we all looked great. My updo was beautiful and held up all day and night, even with wind and lots of dancing.
Emily has consistent 5 star ratings for good reason. I recently got married in Big Sky, MT and I was so impressed with my entire experience with Meraki Hair Styling. I would consider myself to be fairly picky, and I would not give 5 stars unless I really mean it. She does amazing work, she is so professional but still will help you feel comfortable and at ease. Sooooo glad that I went with Meraki and was lucky enough to get Emily for our big day!!!
Emily was absolutely amazing on the day of my wedding. She was able to create 7 updos that were all different and beautiful. She did such a great job!
Emily was fantastic! I didn’t have a clear idea of how I wanted my hair to look, but she was able to figure out what would look good and work with my hair type. She arrived early, was super prepared and brought a good vibe to our getting-ready morning. All the bridesmaids were really happy with their hair. She was very efficient and we had some extra time for photos.

I showed Emily a picture of the bridal hair I was looking for and my hair turned out exactly like the picture! She did such a great job on all of my bridesmaids’ hair, and she is so fun and easy to get along with. Overall five star experience. ;)
So perfect! Emily is so sweet and so talented! She ran with my vision and I LOVED the look! She is professional and also fast! She traveled to my apartment the morning of and completed my hair, bridesmaids, mom, and officiant in time. Everyone looked beautiful and loved their do's. Emily and Adriana were FANTASTIC! First off, they were super flexible. I had a family emergency a few weeks before my wedding and they were very accommodating when I had to move my trial appointment multiple times. Both Emily and Adriana are just the sweetest two people and made me and all my bridesmaids feel so comfortable. I had Emily and Adriana adjust my style after our first trial and they listened to everything I wanted to change and my hair and makeup turned out perfectly! They were also very time efficient and we were ahead of schedule. No one felt rushed and we had some extra time to relax before the ceremony and photos. Thank you Emily and Adriana!!!
I got married here in Bozeman and Meraki Hair Styling did my hair and makeup BEAUTIFULLY! I have no regrets, they did everything just the way I wanted and better! They came to my house and provided hair and makeup for the Bride, Maid of Honor, several Bridesmaids, and the Mothers of Bride and Groom! So much fun! My hair and makeup both lasted all day and I was stunning <3

Emily did my hair for my wedding and I loved the work she did! She was also super understanding while I was planning everything out. I wasn't sure how many people needed their hair done and she was totally open to helping. If you plan on getting your hair done professionally for your wedding she is the way to go.
We loved having Emily come to Big Sky and style our hair for our daughter's wedding! There were 7 of us, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girl, 3 bridemaids and the bride, my daughter. Emily listened well to what we had in mind, or looked at a picture and then she went to work. Emily was professional, cheerful and did all of our hair beautifully. Emily has styled my hair for Prom, Twirp, and most recently, my wedding! She always does a beautiful job! She even styled all my bridesmaids hair and they looked amazing as well! She is always spot on with the hair style I show her.
Highly recommend Emily! She listens and makes sure you have exactly what you want. One of the first weddings I was a part of that I didn’t have to altar or redo a hair style and it happened to be my own wedding. She did all 8 full hairstyles and completed in the timeline she promised.

Emily was AMAZING!! Her work at my wedding 3/9/2020 was spectacular. She was kind and attentive to detail. All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair. Emily drove from Bozeman to Chico Hot Springs to style 5 bridesmaids and myself the day of. She worked from 9am-1pm and got everyone done without any concerns for time. I felt so confident and beautiful on my special day, thanks to Meraki Hairstyling!

Emily did a fantastic job getting me and all of the other groomsmen in our party ready for a wedding. I gave a pretty vague idea of what I was hoping to get done and she was able to bring her expertise to the table and ran with it. I have some pretty strange cowlicks that most hairstylists struggle with, especially the first few times they cut my hair, but it looked fantastic. Highly recommend Emily for any occasion!

Emily did a wonderfully job for me at my wedding for both myself and my groomsmen. It was amazing to see that she cared as much about my hair, as well as the groomsmen, as much as the bridal party. A few years ago I connected Emily with a bride to do her hair for a wedding. I attended as a bridesmaid and she did an amazing job, as I had promised the bride. Emily did not put the brush and curling iron down until the bride was beyond satisfied. She is patient and works with whatever hair type you have. I am going to be getting married soon and I am beyond thrilled to be having Emily as my stylist on such a special day. I would recommend her any day!

I was very pleased with Emily's ability to multitask and take on more than just the bridal party. She created beautiful bridal looks for all of my bridesmaids and gave me a stunning updo. She included my mother who has never had her hair done. That meant everything to me, seeing my mom being treated like a queen. She also gave my husband a fresh haircut to make sure he looked just as good as me. Very friendly and a great value for the price, honestly I would have paid more for the work received.

Emily did such a great job at my wedding. She was on time, professional, and fun! She got 5 of my bridesmaids done in a small amount of time, but making them look beautiful! My wedding hair was amazing and she also knows how to work with extensions. I also had a hair change after the ceremony and she was so willing to stay and change it up for me and it turned out so beautiful! I would definitely recommend her for any event/wedding!

Emily was recommended to me by one of her colleagues, and let me tell you...she is amazing! For my wedding, I wanted a side-swept style that looked natural and felt like something I would wear (but that also felt very "bridal"). She knocked it out of the park! Emily created a style with a gorgeous braid that kept everything in place, but that had free curls to frame my face. The overall effect was very romantic, and stayed in place the whole evening (despite HOURS of dancing).
My four bridesmaids wore their hair down with one side pinned back. Each had very different hair textures, but by the time Emily was done, the group looked very unified. Emily gave me a great haircut prior to the wedding that fixed several issues I had with a prior haircut from a different stylist. She knows what she's doing. In fact, she has taught at the Cosmetology school in town! Now for the best part... Emily had an unforeseen conflict come up the day of my wedding. We agreed that she would arrive early on the day to create all the styles, but then she had to leave. However, she rushed across town to come back and re-set everyone's hair that afternoon prior to the ceremony and pictures. Emily REALLY cares about her clients, and it shows. She moved heaven and earth to be there for me on the day, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone. She's fun to work with, listens to what you want, and the whole wedding hair process was very collaborative and stress-free. Her prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of the work she creates. I hope you'll reach out to her!

Emily P. did my hair for the wedding and all 7 of bridesmaids hair and I think she even did my moms on top of that! She was amazing at getting just what everyone wanted and did their hair in a timely manner! Emily did a great job listening to me beforehand and was so gracious when I switched what I wanted last minute! On top of all that my hair stayed in the style for the WHOLE day(and through the next day, which is a miracle considering😉) I had a veil that went on and off throughout the day and I had no problems! I 100% recommend Emily for whatever hair styling needs you have she is a pro. She is a super sweet and positive person, the kind of person you want around on your big day!

I have known Emily since I was a baby, literally. Our family has been entwined for years and I had the opportunity of growing up with her. I had the honor of having her do my wedding hair, and being a part of my special day. I didn't exactly know what I wanted and Emily threw in a few suggestions, so we went with one of them and it turned out amazing. She is efficient, fast thinker, and very adaptable to any last minute changes, and also a wonderful woman to be around. My 5 bridesmaids and I absolutely loved Emily Pattengale. I had a wedding in the county and Emily came to my house to style our hair. My hair looked elegant, it stayed curled and held all night! ( That is very rare for me) My bridesmaids hair looked gorgeous all night long! Emily communication skills were great, she was very prompt and professional.
