Merchant Hall opened its doors recently on July 1st in Holland, MI. The beautiful 107-year-old building features unique brick walls, maple floors, beautiful chandeliers and a breathtaking tin ceiling, all of which are original.
With a capacity of between 64 for a formal dinner and 180 for an informal reception, Merchant Hall can host your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, showers and more. We offer round, rectangular and pub tables, and silver Chiavari chairs and linens all included in our base price.
Merchant Hall is adjoined to our popular pub, Brew Merchant. Brew Merchant features 32 taps of unique rotating beers and ciders, craft cocktails and wine.
Merchant Hall is owner operated and can provide a tailored experience for your event!

The space is beautiful, and perfect for an intimate wedding. It barely needed any extra decor to look romantic and sophisticated. The owners are so nice and were happy to answer all of my questions! The guests loved the cider selections at the bar!
Brew Merchant hosted our 40 person informal wedding on New Years Eve and really delivered! The bar selection was perfect to accommodate everyone's tastes, it was easy to bring in a licensed caterer and the space was perfect for our group size. The space delivered many of the things we needed: easy access to parking and accessible for guests with more limited mobility, great ambiance, flexible space setup with access to tables / chairs / linens, the ability to setup early to reduce stress before the event, reasonable rates, close to Downtown Holland and friendly staff. I highly recommend this space!
Merchant Hall was a beautiful and fun venue for our wedding reception! Chris and the rest of the staff were easy to work with and the reception and look was everything we wanted!
