Meredith even surprised us during dinner with some previews of the photos she had taken earlier in the day and we were floored. They were INCREDIBLE. We felt so happy and relieved that she captured our vision and the preview was just such a nice touch. day unforgettable. Meredith was incredibly thorough during our pre-wedding consultation. She took the time to understand our vision and preferences, offering helpful suggestions that made us feel confident about the big day. My husband and I met Meredith to do a mini engagement shoot a few months before the big day, and she was ABSOLUTELY amazing! On the wedding day, Meredith and her husband were punctual, organized and blended in making myself and the bridal party feel at ease. Chris went over to be with the guys where they were getting ready. They captured every special moment we asked, with an eye for detail and creative touch that made each photo uniquely ours. When my husband and I recieved our wedding album back, I had tears in my eyes scrolling through the album. The final photos were simply stunning! From candid moments to posed shots, every photo was a work of art that we will cherish forever. We couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer for our wedding day! nce... when we discussed getting engaged in 2021, I made it a priority to get in touch with her (even before we had a date or venue!). Fast forward to fall of 2023, I really can't believe we get to be one of the lucky couples who had their wedding captured by her. We were also fortunate to have Chris as Meredith's second shooter day-off. We can't say enough great things about having them as a team to capture our day! Chris was fantastic with my husband and his guys. We think it made for an especially fun dynamic throughout the day.
A few things that really stand out to be about her work:
-the quality of her work; Meredith does not compromise on quality. Her work is timeless, elevated, and true artistry. Meredith has a vast knowledge of shots, angles and poses that bring out the best in her subjects. It was such a relief working with a true expert who knew so many ways to make us and our wedding details shine. I have received countless compliments from friends and family about how stunning her work is (a few have even said they wished they had used her as their photographer!).
-flexibility; Meredith and Chris worked with us just days before the wedding to finalize our timing and details to ensure that they didn't miss a single special moment of the day. We were SO grateful for their communication and flexibility to adapt to a few last minute changes in our plans.
-Meredith takes the stress out of wedding day photos; Photos are a very stressful things for me personally. I've never really loved the way I looked in photos, so a personal fear of mine has always been not liking how I look in my wedding photos. Booking Meredith was such a priority for me because I truly felt like I would not need to worry with her as our photographer. Meredith truly finds the light, setting and angles that bring out natural beauty in people and make them shine. Having now received our gallery back, I can honestly say I love our wedding photos. She captured me in such a complimentary way (and makes my husband. family and friends look great too!). I never thought I could love so many photos of myself. Knowing I didn't have to worry about the photos meant that I could be fully present for other details of the wedding day.

She is a true professional – not only is she an extremely talented photographer who captures the most beautiful shots, but she has such a positive, calming presence about her that made us feel so comfortable and relaxed on our wedding day. She is very detail-oriented and did an amazing job at keeping our big bridal party/family on track with the timeline (which we worked on together and reviewed thoroughly leading up to the big day) to ensure that all the shots we wanted were captured. At the reception, she surprised us by uploading a handful of the wedding photos she took to a tablet that she placed on the bar for our guests to see. This was such an amazing personal touch – our wedding coordinator was amazed and said she’s never seen this in her many years of working in the wedding industry.

Meredith almost immediately once we locked in a date, which was almost 2 years in advance. I’m soooo grateful that we did! Meredith was so refreshing to communicate with and so responsive. Our first interaction was our engagement shoot and we knew immediately we had made the right choice. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. ost important thing is that you trust the vendors you choose to do what they do best so all you have to do on your Wedding Day is relax, look beautiful, and marry the love of your life! Not only did Meredith meet our expectations, she exceeded them. A couple minutes into our first phone call with Meredith I turned to my husband and whispered "Let's hire her!" She was one of the sweetest people I had ever talked to and truly cared about all of our wishes. My husband Tim was nervous about a professional photo session since it was uncharted territory for him, Meredith sent us a little booklet with everything you could think of as to what to expect. This truly put him at ease, and as if that wasn't enough our engagement shoot could not have gone better. She made sure she knew if there was anything we were self-conscious about or a side preference (which every girl has) she would showcase us in the way that we truly felt beautiful! During the engagement shoot Meredith even basically got in the water with us so we could have some pictures in the ocean, and let out a little "eek!" whenever she got a good photo! Her excitement made us confident the photos were going to be amazing! On the day of the Wedding this commitment did not stop. We literally moved a nail on the wall to a different spot so that my dress could hang in the most perfect location with the best lighting. Her attention to detail was unbelievable. It did not stop there Meredith captured every important moment, and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. Her husband Chris is also the best added bonus you could ever ask for. Chris not only became one of the guys instantly he even fixed my dress so that it looked just right before I walked down the aisle. I truly trusted Meredith and could not have been happier with the end result, she even gifted us with some photos from the day at the actual Reception which was the most special gift we could have received! Tim and I felt like literal models in the photos she took and I love having both the digital and film photos! I asked Meredith for recommendations for most of my vendors and I was happy with every single person she sent our way! Meredith's photography skills speak for themselves. The photos are timeless, STUNNING and are our most treasured keepsakes of both our engagement session and wedding day. What you can't tell from just looking at her photos is how wonderful Meredith is to work with leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. She answered all of my questions, both timeline and design related and she truly guided the wedding day along smoothly. She made sure we were able to hit all of my dream photo locations (even though it meant jumping out of the car and onto the sidewalk to get a quick shot!) and stay on track with timing. a photographer based on whether they think the photos look nice, but we chose Meredith for so many more reasons as we knew she would be the unofficial leader of our day. I wanted someone that was organized and outgoing enough to drive the course of our day, but flexible enough to go with the flow when something inevitably didn’t go to plan. Not only did Meredith prove she was talented enough in her skills, but her knowledge and organization in the first meeting we had impressed both myself and my mom so much that it wasn’t a question who we’d hire. When my mom was shooting weddings, my dad was her second shooter; so during our photographer search I was inevitably biased towards husband/wife teams because of the connection to our family’s story. However it really was evident that Meredith and Chris make such a great team because of the unspoken connection and trust they have with one another, obviously more than your average photographer/second shooter duo! Chris was awesome and our guy friends still say he was so much fun to be around the day of the wedding. Mine and Meredith’s personalities fit so well that she felt more like a friend than a vendor, and I was so grateful for the guidance she gave me throughout planning when I needed it, answering my texts and emails at random hours with scheduling, vendor and even design advice.

It made the wedding day a million times more enjoyable for me and my husband and it was great to have a familiar face guiding us through the day. some tension because logistically my photo location was not that close by but it head significant meaning to me and my husband. I felt rushed even though I had asked in advance if we had planned enough time to prevent being rushed. I would have liked to have moved locations for the group shots because they were far away and you can't see everyone in some of the photos. Also, I would have liked to have more relaxed and/or candid photos. The one's that weren't planned are my favorite. Overall, we have great photos from our day but looking back there would be some things I would have been more forward about requesting to do given the amount of money spent.

We first met Meredith in person on the morning of our engagement shoot. It happened to be POURING rain outside that day. Despite the weather, Meredith managed to make the whole experience very enjoyable for the both of us. She was fully prepared, incredibly kind, and captured amazing photographs.
On the day of our wedding, I spent most of the time leading up to the ceremony with our second photographer, Chris. Even though we met for the first time that day, it immediately felt as if we had been friends for years. At one moment while we were getting ready, there was a lot going on and it started to feel a little overwhelming. Out of the blue, Chris cracked a joke that made me laugh and it was the perfect thing to ease the nerves. He did an amazing job at being personable, keeping it light, while also managing the day and sticking to the timeline.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Meredith was very detail-oriented and easy to communicate with. Those types of traits in a vendor are priceless when planning a wedding. Her meticulous timeline of the day really helped us with putting everything together. Hiring Meredith Jane Photography was among the best decisions we made, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Meredith showed up on our wedding day with a detailed (I mean, DETAILED) timeline, captured everything we could have asked for an more, on time, with a massive smile on her face greeting every family member and making everyone feel so special. Her husband/second shooter Chris caught the groomsman getting ready while Meredith managed a house full of bridesmaids. I remember feeling like Meredith was a friend in the room, not a stranger entering our intimate getting ready process. By the end of the night all of our friends and family considered the two of them part of the crew and I loved looking up from our sweetheart table and seeing folks we trusted so much buzzing around our reception capturing all the candids and details. My rave review can't stop there - Meredith went on to create the most stunning family heirloom album that we could have ever imagined. Her process for aggregating our favorites, managing our edits and printing the booked was seamless. I cried when we got it just imagining how perfect it will be to show our children someday.
