hose and then some. It was extremely important to the both of us that we found someone who could capture that “extraordinary” we were looking for and bring it to life. Any couple knows that choosing a wedding photographer is a monumental decision: This person is capturing what should be one of the biggest moments of your life. You want their time, their energy and their true passion and inspiration for everything they do to show through in every one of your photos. We found that in Chloe and Caleb. We first experienced Chloe and Caleb’s photography—ahem, let me rephrase myself: outstanding artistry and skill—when they captured a friend’s Urbex Engagement in Detroit. Kirk and I were absolutely head over heels, or in our case, head over boots (Kirk wore cowboy boots, and I wore Victorian wedding boots on our big day) in love with their work. We knew we had to meet the creators of these beautiful masterpieces. During our first phone call, Chloe absolutely blew our minds. I could feel her excitement and energy through the phone. On that first call, we knew we had found the “extraordinary” we were looking for. Just like the cheeseball saying goes: “When you know, you know.” Forget the whole “she felt like a friend” part; she felt like family. The same excitement and energy that Chloe and Caleb showed through the phone echoed on our wedding day. Truly, they lived the experience with us. We laughed, we celebrated, we teared up and, above all else, it was real. You know it was real because you could feel it. Chloe and Caleb made everyone, not just Kirk and me, feel so comfortable. The shots Chloe captured not only brought tears to our eyes but also goosebumps to our skin and flutters to our hearts. The raw emotion she and Caleb captured was undeniable. I could go on and on all day about how amazing, loving, creative and wonderful Chloe and Caleb are, but having already experienced everything you are going through now, I know you don’t have time to read all that. I am a true believer of “you never fully understand something until you experience it.” Working with this couple is an experience—a beautiful experience that will live on forever in photographs and in the hearts of everyone involved. Chloe and Caleb, I can’t thank you enough for making working with you one of the best experiences of my life.

and the pair were able to make the best of two rainy situations. For our engagement photos Chloe literally had her camera wrapped in a bag in order to get the perfect rainy day shots! When looking for a photographer, my husband and I wanted somebody who could capture the spirit of the day and who we are as people versus plain ol' traditional portraits. With Meridian photography we got exactly what we wanted. Chloe is artistic, creative, and has an amazing eye for getting the perfect shot. She is also a pleasure to be around, and I've truly enjoyed working with her over the past year. Our experience with Chloe has been unmatched; working with her has been so easy…she is so fast with returning emails (even from a high-strung bride) and she took time to meet with us twice! So easy to talk to and work with! Then the turnaround time for my pictures were crazy!! I work with lots of different photographers for my children's pictures, and she was just on point with it! They turned out BEYOND AMAZING. My fiancé at the time fell in love with her work after that and there was no question again who would do our wedding day! So the planning began and she was there EVERY step of the way. She does not just become your photographer… She becomes your friend! Chloe knows exactly how to capture the personalities of her couple without knowing she's even there. She makes you feel so comfortable and confident. She's intelligent and willing to go above and beyond to get the shot… I know this because she was in the water to get some of our wedding shots (she was in a skirt). Our day went by too quickly… At the end of the night Chloe said "I should have your photos back to you within the month"; which to me was quick to have them back so i told her "Take your time"… And I was astonished when she messaged me less than two weeks after we were married and they were done!!! All of our wedding photos were done! I couldn't believe it!! And let me tell you… Ugh… I can't put it into words… Chloe is an exceptional photographer. She captured all the special moments that went on that day! We didn't just find a photographer for our wedding… We found a lifelong friend who will photograph the rest of lives as it unfolds.

Chloe and her husband are both very nice people and they are doing something that they love. We can tell that it is not a job, but a passion. They are able to capture the joy of that entire day and get their ideas off of the love and devotion you two have for each other. alent obviously speaks for itself, so what I would like to highlight are some of her other attributes. Chloe is extremely professional. We were planning a black tie event, and I was somewhat concerned about the photographer being dressed professionally, as I have been to many fancy weddings where the photographers worked in extremely casual clothing and stuck out like a sore thumb, really bringing down/distracting from the feel of the event. Chloe came dressed professionally and fit right in--the woman exudes class. She is easy going, flexible, and knowledgeable regarding her craft. You can tell that she has the natural eye for photography, and the experience to know what will turn out looking great in the photos. Beyond that, she has a wonderful sense of intuition--she can pick up on your style and run with it, thinking up ideas for unique and classic photos on the fly. Even our guests commented on how impressed they were with her. We had an extremely long day, and Chloe kept going non-stop. Moreover, she has impeccable attention to detail, and caught little moments and elements that I know other photographers would have missed or thought insignificant. At the end of the night, she even stuck around for a midnight trip to Campus Martius for some ice skating pictures, and convinced the staff to let us on the ice even though the park was closed. These ended up being our favorite photos from the wedding, as hockey is meaningful to my husband and both our families. She is also very understanding and professional. My husband and I both come from large, loud families, so having that many people, each with their own opinions, was quite stressful, but Chloe was able to navigate everything perfectly, keep people calm, and keep drama away from me. To close, Chloe is a great photographer and an even better person. I have no doubt she will do an amazing job with your event, because she treats each one like it is celebrating a member of her own family. We could not be happier with her work!
