Allan at MeristeM is amazing. He was a calm in the storm and totally on top of the details. He has amazing talent and was honest about how much or how little the space needed. W...e had him do a ombre rose petal path, bouquets, boutonnieres, and center pieces. I told him that I wanted orchids because that's what my guy gets me and hydrangeas because they make me think of my recently passed grandmother. He incorporated those beautifully and made it all work with the bridesmaid dresses.
The boutonnieres were awesome because he puts in magnets so our guys weren't pricking themselves with the pins. We asked him to use driftwood for the centerpieces. He combed he beaches for weeks and wasn't able to find pieces that were up to his standards. So instead he dried grapevines and sanded them down and used them over a moss base with orchids and delphiniums to put together in what was our opinion the perfect centerpiece. I was sad to have to leave them behind when we went off on our honeymoon. My mom still has the orchids and bouquets spread around her house 2 weeks later.
The next day when we were cleaning up our venue, Allan showed up at 8 with a rake to clean up his part. We didn't ask him to do it, he is just that on top of his game. He's amazing and a true artist, you won't regret using him for your wedding.
