Steve, the owner of Merrimon Florist, was exceptionally polite and helpful as my husband and I were planning our wedding. We not only ordered bouquets and a piece for the arbor, but also individual flowers for decorating our reception tables. The bouquets and arbor used purple statice, Viking daisies, and greenery, while the individual flowers purchased for our reception were large and beautiful Gerber daisies. All were affordable for the area, and equal or better quality than other florists in town. Steve made helpful suggestions to bring our vision to life, remained patient as our plans changed, and delivered our flowers on time. We couldn't have been happier with our flowers!

Working with Merrimon Florist was seriously amazing! We live in Atlanta, so planning a wedding in Asheville was a bit of challenge! Everyone at Merrimon made the process so much easier. They were kind, professional, and responsive, and the arrangements they made were beautiful! They were so flexible and gave us many different options to accommodate our budget. Would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone!

We hired Merrimon to do flowers for our October wedding in Hot Springs, NC. From the moment we began speaking with the staff at Merrimon we felt confident our needs would be met. They were polite, friendly, professional, and through. They anticipated our needs and when we described something we wanted, they immediately understood our idea and made it better using their knowledge and experience. We originally had 2 flower girls but bumped one up to junior bridesmaid last minute, and Merrimon was courteous and quick to respond with the adjustments. The flowers were beautiful and matched precisely with what we had envisioned for our special day. They are also a practical florist and are willing to work within your budget.

We loved working with Curt at Merrimon. He helped us choose beautiful arrangements based on some Pinterest boards that I really liked and helped us modify to fit our needs. Some of the stems in the pictures I brought it were going to go over our budget and some were not in season so he helped us choose alternates that had a really similar look. He also advised on which flowers hold up best through the day versus which ones look pretty walking down the aisle but will be wilted by the end of the day. They do a lot of weddings so the staff here is pretty knowledgable about trends and what things work and don't work. They also have relationships with a lot of local vendors. Curt even knew some rules our church has about flowers before we even knew! The day of was really smooth- they set up drop offs with the church and reception so I didn't really have to do anything. Best of all, the arrangements looked great and lasted a long time. The table arrangements stayed fresh for weeks. Mother in Law took about 5 of them home after the wedding and used them as decorations for a Christmas Eve party at her house a week later and they still looked fresh and beautiful.

Awesome!! They were great. I live in Atlanta and conducted almost all of our arrangements via phone and email. My flowers were beautiful and completely affordable. We changed a few things a few weeks ahead of time and they were totally flexible and were great to work with. We really really enjoyed our experience with them and completely recommend!

We had a destination wedding so I had to plan everything by e-mail and phone, which can be difficult. Steve at Merrimon florist spoke with me over the phone and I sent photos of what I wanted my bouquet to look like. He was very thorough on getting the details of what I was looking for and the arrangements all came out beautifully!

I LOVED working with Merrimon Florist! I met with several florists in the area for my planned elopement in July. It was on a Monday, so unfortunately a lot of florists did not take me seriously or just blew my business off. From the first email, Steve at Merrimon Florist was great! It was easy to sent up an appointment with him, and he was friendly and informative when I met with him in the store. He was also up front about pricing, and gave me a variety of options for flowers with a variety of pricing. When I decided to go with him for my flowers, I had changed my mind quite a few times, and wanted to incorporate flowers that were special to me (little cabages, Queen Anne's lace, etc.) into my bouquet. Steve was so patient, and completely re-did my quote several times until it was just right. He also gave me suggestions and his opinion, which helped me visualize everything and to make a final decision. I also ordered a floral ring for my small dog to wear around her neck at the wedding, and I was more concerned about this than my own bouquet. Again, Steve took in all of my concerns and created a beautiful arrangement that was perfect for my 2 lb dog. I was able to add in my own small details for my bouquet (ribbon, locket with pictures, diamond accents), which I mailed to Steve the week before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the delivery person from Merrimon Florist took the time to come all the way up to our hotel room, and explain how the floral dog ring hooked together and also to make sure I was happy with everything - which I completely was! All of the corsages and boutineers came out absolutely perfect! I cried when I saw my bouquet, because it was even better than I ever imagined. Merrimon Florist was one of my two most favorite vendors that I worked with, and they went above and beyond our expectations! I would highly recommend them!!

When we went for our consultation I felt at ease. Steve was honest and very helpful. I didn't know much about flowers and Steve help guide me. He also helped last minute when we couldn't find plants that we wanted for the ceremony, and he was able to pull through for us. Great service and communication with us since we were from out of town.

I used Merrimon Florist for Wedding this June and could not have asked for a better and more personal florist. Steve was honest, affordable and is extremely talented. I will definitely recommend him for anyone in the future!

I gave3 stars based on my day-of experience. My consultation was fantastic and he was really easy to work with. Unfortunatley, my bridal bouquet wasn't ready when we went to pick it up and the bridesmaids' bouquets were the wrong color. The flowers were beautiful but not what was ordered,

very helpful when planning a destination wedding. Did most of planning via e-mail. very accomodating. helpful. great prices.
