My husband and I were both a bit nervous about being the center of attention and having so many pictures of us taken, but Merrisa was great at helping us relax and helping us pose in a way that felt natural. I really recommend getting engagement photos with her if you are also booking her for your wedding. Spending an hour or so getting to know Merrissa during the engagement shoot really helped us feel more at ease in front of the camera at the wedding because we knew what to expect. Leading up to the wedding, Merrisa worked with us to understand what shots we wanted and her organization really showed the day of the wedding. Everything went so smoothly! Merrisa and her team moved around like ninjas and got great shots! We are beyond delighted with our photos and they’ve got tons of compliments from our family and friends. I also want to shout out her husband Nick, who was our videographer and make us look like movie stars. I would recommend Merrisa and Nick to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

It was especially helpful that Merrisa and Nick are local to the Cape, had shot weddings at our venue before, and knew some of the best spots for photos on the property. Merrisa is professional, welcoming, and extremely talented - I'm truly obsessed with the photos on our wedding day as well as our engagement shoot. Merrisa prepared a detailed timeline for her associates to follow and made sure our day would run as smoothly as possible. Since Day 1 of working with her she's been so amazing to work with and has truly become a friend! For our Engagement Photos, I gave her an idea of what vibe we wanted and she put together a whole plan for photos in beautiful spots in Provincetown and Truro. She made us feel so comfortable while taking our pictures - it was a ton of fun! The pictures came out so great and were absolutely perfect for our save-the-dates. For our Wedding Day, Merrisa and her associate photographer captured our pictures, and her husband Nick did our videography. Merrisa and her team were absolutely amazing for our big day. We had many requests and they were able to accommodate all of them and more, in addition to incorporating their own personal, creative touches! Within just three days, Merrisa sent our sneak peek of our photos, and in only two weeks we already have our video preview. I have heard horror stories about couples waiting months to get even just a sneak peek of their photos, and Merrisa sent us ours in THREE DAYS! We are in absolute awe of how incredible our pictures and video preview came out and are so excited to get the rest of our photos and full video soon! Let me start off by saying the amount of compliments I have gotten on my sneak peeks is out of this world. We very rarely meet genuine souls n our lifetime and I can tell you right now Merrisa and Nick are two of them. As a bride you feel overwhelmed and scared at times but throughout the entire process Merrisa made sure this part of my day would be easy. She and her husband Nick took me and my now husband under their wing and coached us through every photo to get the most perfect shots. I never worried about wether or not my pictures would be beautiful. In addition to the professional and “we got this” attitude on my engagement/ wedding shoots, Merrisa ALWAYS made me feel like I was her only client (even though I knew she had hundreds of clients). Whenever I reached out she answered…no hesitation or annoyance in her response. I can honestly go on and on about how much I loved this team. a total wash out (think hurricane-like winds and downpours). BUT, we saw how calm Merrisa and Nick were throughout her entire day and the photos + video spoke for themselves. SO, we ended up giving Merrisa and Nick a call right away and LUCKILY locked down both of them to capture our wedding day. Safe to say... it was the best investment ever. Not only are they incredible as a team/duo, working so flawlessly together, but they are extremely reasonably priced and the quality is UNMATCHED.  What we loved most about Nick + Merrisa were how CALM they were throughout our entire day. It was a bit hectic due to the setting of the sun/time crunch (November wedding!), but they kept us calm and on schedule the entire time. When others around us were not calm - they were. Always ensuring they were capturing what they needed. In addition, both provided excellent pointers and tips on what to do, where to stand, etc. (which was a relief because I was so nervous about looking awkward on video). They assured us other wise!  The video preview we have received has seriously blown us away. SO many shots were captured so creatively and beautifully - all looking extremely natural and flawless. I cannot say enough positive things. Besides the fact that we LOVED our video and have watched it no less than 100 times, we just loved spending time with Nick + Merrisa. They're SO cool and made our day 100x better. Feeling like friends who were there to party and celebrate with us, too! Yet they were extremely professional - always answering every email and responding to any question I had (there were plenty LOL).  BRIDES: INVEST in a wedding video from Nick + Merrisa.
