Everything was perfect! Julie (over on riverside) was amazing, and so friendly. I couldn’t have imaged a better looking cake, that tasted so good!

We were SO pleased with our wedding cake from Merritt's! We received countless compliments after the wedding about how delicious it was! Julie at the Riverside location was so easy to work with, and our cakes were not only incredible tasting, but absolutely beautiful! We had a small two-tiered cake as well as a large sheet cake, and both were elegantly done. I loved that we could have a different filling on each tier to suit all different tastes. Merritt's also delivered our cake to the venue for us, and ensured that the room temperature was nice and cool so our cake wouldn't be a melted disaster when we arrived. Thank you Merritt's for giving us the wedding cake of our dreams!

We utilized Merritt’s Bakery midtown for our wedding cake. I enjoyed working with them, because they were very easy going—giving us plenty of time to decide which style, colors we wanted, and final design of the cake. The final product looked fabulous and tasted delicious! We were very happy with their service.

The cake was beautifully decorated and delicious! However, the boxes our cakes came in didn't have tops which made them hard to move.

I brought a picture of a cake that I found on Pinterest and they were able to make an even more beautiful wedding cake. We also ordered a variety of pies (cherry, apply & peach) to serve at the reception, which were all delicious! Everything was great!

I went into Merritt's not knowing what I wanted, but knowing I wanted a cupcake cake, and that Merritt's had very fair prices. I saw a display cake that I absolutely loved. Their wedding cake specialist helped me plan cupcakes based off of the same design. So creative! They let me bring in swatches so that the colors were just as I wanted. I was so impressed with the wedding cake, and would use Merritt's again in a heartbeat!

My sister used Merritt's for my surprise engagement party. She showed Merritts a picture of what she wanted and they assured her that they could achieve what the picture looked like. The opposite happened. It looked like they didn't even try and their response was pretty much that of "we don't really care". I absolutely will not use them for my wedding.

We wanted a thunder cake for the grooms cake and merritts is the only bakery that has the rights so we ended up going with 2 different cakes from 2 different bakeries. But it was worth it. The cake was chocolate with a vanilla creme filling in the middle and by the end of the night there was only 2 pieces left!

They were super accommodating and sweet... The cake was outstanding!!!!

The chocolate cake was so delicious for the groom's cake!! The cakes both tasted great and looked wonderful. They were very special but didn't break the budget for feeding everyone.

My mother-in-law set up all the appointments for cake testing. We had an appointment at Merritt's for 11 a.m. and we got there a little early and they said to just have a set and they would come to us when they were a little less busy. We waited about 30 minutes and nobody ever came to our table so we got up and left. They never called us or anything. So, get your cake at Ann's Bakery. They're amazing!

We asked for a cake tasting after paying a deposit to reserve our wedding date. We were told it would be $14.00 per cake we wanted to try--this when we are planning on buying a $500 cake, plus a groom's cake?! No thank you. That is ridiculous! I told them that they could keep our $50 (I also thought about telling them where they could put it too). I consider it a blessing that their poor commitment to the customer came out early on so I could have someone else make our cake and save myself trouble further down the line. For those brides out there looking--Ann's offers free tastings and set aside an hour for someone to talk with us and figure out exactly how we want our cake to look. This is not a plug for them, but simply put another large bakery in the area didn't think I was crazy for wanting to TASTE what I was about to pay $500 for, so if you're interested in good customer service and knowing what you're getting--GO ELSEWHERE. To their credit, the employee I spoke with was courteous--so perhaps it's the management that doesn't want the business.

I shopped a little for my cakes. I wanted them to be (in this order) delicious, beautiful, and cost effective. We got two cakes, a four tier cake with paisley for the design, and a grooms cake that looked like a football field. The first place I went to quoted me $1,800! The second $1,000. I avoided Merritt's because I heard they were pricey. I went in, BOTH cakes EXACTLY how I wanted them from the other two places (same flavors, same fillings, same designs) $600. There was no surprise charges, they delivered no problem! It was gorgeous and more importantly, yummy!

I was very happy with our wedding cake. Unfortunately, there are some design limitations because they use buttercream instead of fondant but I prefer the taste of buttercream anyway. Our cake arrived on time, looked beautiful, and tasted amazing! The cakes are made on the date of your event and are not frozen which makes it taste very fresh!

We used the broken arrow Merritts and everyone was so great. I booked my wedding from Indiana and they made time to squeeze us in when we were in town. The cake looked amazing and just how we ordered. They came in set up and everything went smooth. Excellent!!

I had NO idea what kind of cake I wanted and my husband had NO idea what kind of cake he wanted. We walked into Merritt's and were greeted with the BEST customer service, and we decided on our cakes. I could have NEVER imagined how beautiful they actually turned out to be. My cake was more gorgeous than I could have imagined and so original. My husband's groom's cake was an exact replica of a special cross necklace he wears. They made a photocopy of his necklace and copied it perfectly. We received so many compliments and we couldn't have been more happy with the physical appearance or the delicious taste of the raspberry filling! :) Thank you Merritt's!

The cake was gorgeous, delivered on time and very very tasty! We also had a grooms cake that was exactly what we had pictured and was equally as tasty. The frosting was not super thick and sugary. They also managed to match the red we used in our wedding colors perfectly which is not easy to do! It was delivered on time, set up quickly and displayed artistically.

Our cake looked and tasted great! The designed it exactly how we wanted it! The price was great for the wedding cake and grooms cake.

Working with Merritt's was wonderful! I was able to look at most of their designs online and then work out details with a consultant in the bakery. I was able to select my own topper and have it at the reception site for the Merritt's staff put on the cake for me. They had a variety of choices, from classic flavors and designs to more modern ideas, and they were even willing to do custom colors and designs on the cake. Everything was so easy and the cake tasted fantastic!

I loved my wedding cake and our grooms cake! They have great flavors and an amazing staff. I even ordered a mothers day cake and birthday cake during the same time i ordered the wedding cake.
