Merryvale is a truly magical venue sitting on a hilltop offering hill country views and huge old oaks. Our massive natural heart shaped rock serves as a backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. Extensive limestone patios and walkways throughout lush landscaped grounds sets the tone for your event. Evening events are well lit with festive lighting hung overhead and many trees wrapped in lights as well. There is ample parking with a bus turn around and designated parking, a gourmet kitchen your caterer will love and gorgeous dressing rooms. Merryvale was everything I wanted in a wedding venue. Sandy has done an outstanding job in outfitting the house with a beautiful bridal suite, open concept kitchen and ample space for our guests on the patio and outdoor dance floor. It’s rare to find a venue that gives you all day access (8 am- 1 am) and rarer still to experience an owner who goes out of their way to accommodate requests and make your day extra special. It was icing on the cake that tables, chairs and linens (for up to 200 guests) were included in the rental price. We did end up renting a tent because of the rainy days leading up to the wedding, but thankfully didn’t end up using it and I got the outdoor reception with string-lit trees and open skies that I had dreamed of. Very convenient to downtown Austin. Worked great to have my family stay at the rental home next door. Our guests raved that it was a beautiful wedding and danced all night. Great experience all around!!

Merryvale is such a beautiful venue set in the hill country! We are so happy we chose Merryvale for our wedding. Everyone raved about the property and we had a wonderful experience working with Sandy and her daughter Jennifer. I'm actually booking Merryvale again for a party coming up and I can't wait!

Sandy the venue owner was so very wonderful and helpful! She answers all your questions in a timely manner, is super flexible, and allows you as much time as you need the day of to set up your event. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, setup for sound, equipped with round tables and wood chairs, and is maintained quite well. You can tell Sandy puts forth a lot of energy to make sure it’s immaculate. I 100% recommend Merryvale to anyone looking for a sweet and whimsical venue for their wedding needs!

On October 7, 2018 we had our wedding at Merryvale in Manchaca, Texas owned and managed by Sandy Mann. We chose this venue, after looking at several other locations. Sandy Mann and her crew were the real reason we went with Merryvale. She made the date stress free as can be and really worked hard to make it all very special. I would highly recommend Sandy, Merryvale and her crew to have your special day.

We had our dream wedding at Merryvale and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The venue is beautiful and the grounds were well kept and looked beautiful in pictures. Sandy (the owner) was so kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend the venue!

Merryvale is an absolutely GORGEOUS outdoor wedding venue! From the twinkle lights, large trees, rolling hills, deep sunsets and dancing under the stars- you can't beat this venue! I fell in love with this venue the first time I toured! However the owner was somewhat distracted the few months leading up to my wedding. She became a grandmother the week of my wedding, so some of this is excusable. The day of though, she was treating ant beads and spraying away wasp nests. This probably should of been taken care of before hand. Thankfully I am a patient and a somewhat chill bride. This probably would have stressed any other bride day of. I recommend that the owner hires a venue manager so that these tasks are off her plate. This beautiful venue deserves the attention of a full time manager. I'm so glad I had a top notch wedding coordinator to keep everything moving and organized. Everything went WONDERFUL by the way! If you choose this beautiful venue hire an outside coordinator and all will be fine.

My fiance and I were so pleased with this venue! It was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful- the trees, the scenery, the location. It was all we imagined and more. Sandy was so personable in preparing us for our big day. We are so grateful for her hospitality and availability to help us with any and everything we needed. She was very resourceful in pointing us in the right direction when something wasn't in her area and joyfully helped when something was. Thank you Merryvale for a wedding venue my husband and I will never forget. Blessings!
