Katie was by far my favorite vendor! She went above and beyond to help me plan my dream wedding. She has wonderful taste and can really bring any vision you have to life!! For example for one of my events I really wanted a swing for us to sit on. We looked all over Austin for a vendor who would let us rent one but could not find one so Katie literally went and built us a swing!!! Like how amazing is that. Look no further cause Katie is your girl! Thanks again for everything Katie!!

Katie and the Merveille team was a dream to work with! We actually had to plan our entire wedding virtually because of the pandemic and did not see most of the pieces until the day of the wedding. Despite coming to her fairly last minute, Katie was so patient, attentive, and excited to work with us. I had several specific visions: a warm color palette (rust, oranges, warm yellow), interesting shapes & florals for our centerpieces and ceremony arch, and very minimalist boutonnieres. Despite my ambiguous, long-winded feedback, I'm stunned by how perfectly Katie and the team read my mind and pulled off the wedding. Everything was gorgeous. We are so grateful for their ability to work with so many different aesthetics, professionalism, and amazing talent. Thank you so much for all you do!

Katie was an absolute DREAM to work with - she was not only realistic with my vision but also went the extra mile to ensure my day was everything I wanted. I had many florists tell me that what I wanted was not doable with my budget - this was NOT the case with Katie, instead she worked with me to create my vision within my budget. We hired Merveille Events to do Floral for our Wedding. We were so impressed by Katie's work. Katie is wonderful! She was very easy to work with and helped our vision come to life. I wanted to go with more of a "Garden" theme for my flowers and I was so happy with my bouquet. Katie even did the floral arrangement on my cake! We definitely recommend working with Katie/Merveille Events on your big day.

Katie and the team at Merveille Flowers & Events did a fantastic job on the florals at our wedding. Katie from Merveille was amazing -- she did a wonderful job of bringing our vision to life and working within our budget. I found Katie to be down to earth, attentive to our preferences, and overall very helpful. She was very patient and flexible in working with us, helping to find just the right look and feel at a reasonable price. The bud wall was such a hit as a backdrop for photos and looked so great! The combination of flowers, greenery, votives and taper candles looked so wonderful in the space and complemented the white cheesecloth runners and the white ribbons on the weather vane. I loved my bouquet - it was exactly what I wanted - primarily green and white with beautiful anemones with white centers with a pop of color from the blue thistle and pink veronica flowers. My absolute favorite part of the bouquet was the tillandsia - such a unique plant with an unusual shape to add texture and something different!

Katie at Merveille is SO incredibly talented, kind, and fun to work with! She is a creative genius and we really let her take control of the designs and do her thing. Basically, Katie = a floral magician! She took our vision and brought it to life + more. She has an incredible inventory of everything you could ever ask for and more. She and her family team are exactly the kind of people you want around you on your wedding day. So chill, dependable, and professional. I can't say enough about Merveille! If you need florals for a wedding or event, do yourself a favor and book them now!!

I cannot sing enough praises for a Katie and the rest of the Merveille team! Unfortunately, we had another florist prior to Katie that did not work out, but the Merveille team exceeded my expectations and I knew from the moment we had our first consultation that we were in excellent hands. Katie and her team are beyond talented, laid back, creative, professional, and have a large warehouse full of goodies to help you make confident floral decisions (plus you’ll get to visit with their adorable pup, Romo). We came in with inspiration photos for an arbor we liked for our ceremony spot and a photo wall that the Merveille team BUILT for us and we were so impressed with how everything turned out! They handled all things set-so I worried about nothing day of!! They have the most amazing warehouse of ALL THE THINGS to choose from! Merveille was professional, laid back, flexible + they have the CUTEST dog Romo. We had a great experience and my month of coordinator has worked with her multiple times and highly recommends!!

Katie from Merveille Events played such an instrumental part in bringing our vision to life and truly went above and beyond our expectations. We had a winter wedding and I was worried our flower selection was going to be limited, but Katie had so many wonderful ideas and brought in flowers that were so so beautiful. Katie was easy to work with, worked with us to do a GREAT mock up of the table design, and had such awesome ideas of new flowers to bring in to add the texture and dimensions I was looking for. She made the whole process FUN. Another thing to note, Katie has a great selection of goods you can rent out. When 1 month before the wedding I decided I wanted an escort board, she was able to use her mirror and coordinate the calligraphy so seamlessly. Totally easy and it turned out beautifully. We loved all of the floral design and decor that Merveille provided for our Indian wedding (sangeet night, wedding ceremony, and reception)! Katie had great ideas for each event and was easy to work with through the many changes I made to our order. She was also super helpful and creative when we wanted to make sure we stayed within our budget, suggesting ideas that neither me or my wedding planner were thinking of, but turned out great. Merveille has an extensive warehouse of hard goods that you can rent, and it was really helpful to go there to visualize everything we would be using for the event. Thanks Katie & team!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Katie!!! I told her what my vision was, and she did more than I could have ever imagined. My flowers were flawless...truly. I received so many compliments, absolutely LOVED every floral arrangement, and now have the most beautiful photos to look back on - I have to also mention the gorgeous mirror, candles, signs, cake decorations... everything was perfect. Katie and the team at Merveille are amazing! The floral design and execution for our wedding this past weekend was stunning. I met with two other floral designers before I came to Merveille. Immediately, upon meeting Katie, I knew she understood what I was hoping for. On the days leading up to our wedding, and on our actual wedding day, Austin was hit with an unexpected heat wave with temps above 100 degrees. Katie planned alternatives in case the weather was too hot for our outside ceremony. In the end, we decided to carry through despite the heat. When I stepped out and saw my ceremony floral arch for the first time, I was amazed at what Katie had done. One friend told me it looked like something out of a fairytale. For all brides out there - I cannot recommend Merveille enough. Besides the design and execution, I also appreciate that Katie took the time to get to know me and my hopes for floral design instead of asking me about budget before we could even chat . I understand why that question is important to floral designers, but it was a huge turn-off for me in previous meetings. Katie was so different from the other designers. My family is still talking about how beautiful my wedding flowers looked. I'll never forget Katie for going above and beyond, and how Merveille transformed my wedding into a fairytale.

Katie at Merveille was excellent. She followed what my vision was for our Rehearsal Dinner and flowers for our Home. She brought over several sample arrangements several weeks before so we could invision what the colors would be and the size of the arrangements. She constructed large wreaths for my gates as well. She went above and beyond on the Wedding day. We had high winds and she made adjustments for the wedding day. Thank You Merveille for all your hard work!

Katie and Merveille Floral Design was one of the best decisions we made. Katie brought exactly what our bride wanted, and gave plenty of options when ideas or changes were needed. Katie has many other things she can help with.....not just flowers. We used her GIANT mirror on an easel for table seating. She helped us with some additional signs. Katie is calm/cool, arrives early to set up, and is super creative! Give her your budget and watch her GO! :) Your flowers will be amazing. Thanks Katie, for making it so beautiful and fun!

Katie Hood and Merveille went above and beyond for my wedding! She is by far one of the most creative people I've met. I had a very vibrant and different color pallet and she picked the most unique and beautiful flowers to match it. They also provided a ton of extra decoration pieces for the table. So incredibly easy and inspirational to work with. My recommendation to you, hire Katie and Merveille for your upcoming wedding, you won't be disappointed.

Merveille did all of the floral and decor for my wedding and it was a dream come true! I have followed Merveille on Instagram for years for inspiration when it came time to plan my own wedding. I was lucky enough to win her Instagram Free Wedding contest and I truly feel like the luckiest bride ever! Katie helped me visualize what I wanted based on pictures I showed her, helped me pick all vases and candles to match my color scheme and made my wedding more than I could have ever visualized myself! She even spray painted tree stumps gold for my dessert and cake stands! She is so involved and truly cares about every bride and wants to make every event perfect! I would recommend her over and over again for any event that needed florals!

It was a destination wedding so there were some tricky things and they handled everything with perfection and professionalism. Katie Hood with Merveille Events is the sole purpose my wedding turned out as beautiful as it did. Not only did she go above and BEYOND with the florals, she and her husband made my cake table which only pictures can do it justice....she spent the entire 9 month engagement planning this wedding with me whether that meant going to the mountains and cutting down aspen trees herself, monograming benches and seats for the dinner, visualizing what I wanted and making it come to life and MOREEE. She was more than just my florist, she was practically my wedding planner! We had multiple events that Katie did the florals for us, The night of my engagement, our engagement party, my bridal shower, the welcome party the week of the wedding, my bridesmaid luncheon, the rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony, and the reception. Every single event she does, people commented on how incredible the florals are. Her hard work and dedication to her job and her clients is unlike anything most brides will ever come across. She drove to Colorado (where I got married) a total of 4+ times making sure that everything would be ready for the big day bringing flowers, equipment, my personal stuff, etc. Just to put that in retrospect, that is roughly a 17 hour drive.... KATIE IS AMAZING!!! I would recommend using her to anyone and everyone I meet. You will never find a florist with so much talent but with such a big heart and so much dedication to making your special day that much more special.

I highly recommend this business for floral and décor. They did an AMAZING job on my daughters wedding. Top of line in customer service as well and very fair pricing. I couldn't have been any happier with this business, they did everything just right.

These flowers were beyond anything I could have imagined. I was very finicky when picking out my flowers, and very back and forth. She somehow took the bits and pieces I told her and created EXACTLY what I wanted. My florals set the tone of my wedding and got so many compliments. She worked within our budget and if we felt like we were spending too much she scaled back (but my florals didn't feel scaled back at all). Just beautiful and perfect, coming from a very particular bride. Totally recommend

We LOVE Merveille! Katie was such a wonderful partner to have on board for the success of my daughters wedding in March of '15. Merveille has the ability to create any look at any event. My daughter had a look she was going for and Katie took that and made it better!! Her suggestions and fabrication of the final product were exactly what we were hoping for and so much more. There is no one that can compete with the Merveille Floral team. Katie is wonderfully creative and so easy to work with. Amy has a great eye for design. She understood the look that we were going for, and the floral and decor that she put together helped make my vision a reality. She was also able to work within my budget and offered us some nice cost-saving ideas.

she understood the look i was going for and was very willing to please. we went to a flower fridge and i picked out the flowers that i liked and we had several meetings at the venue to make sure we were on the same page with the design.;she is very very very very very very pricey and she suggests things in a very sneaky way in the middle of the planning or right before the wedding and then adds on to the price. my thought is if the florist wants to add something late in the game they dont need to charge but she did.
