t plan, let alone execute was amazing. Every, every, every little detail was done and knowing that Lisa Miller had it all under control caused me zero stress. She literally got there at 7 am and left 18 hours later as we were loading the last items up. We had outdoor lights everywhere, and every possible kind of station you could think of. She went above and beyond to make this the "Best Day Ever" for all of us. The food was also incredible. The prime rib was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the Italian crusted chicken was so flavorful. And then the amazing staff never missed a beat delivering the food, clearing the tables, and taking care of the guests all night. They also endured a very very hot day, but just kept on going. I know this wasn't the typical wedding, but everybody pitched in and made it absolutely gorgeous. The staff even helped with the clean-up. Truly an amazing experience and a 5 start experience.

Thankfully we were able to move our ceremony indoors, and I have absolutely no regrets. The ballroom is beautiful (especially the chandeliers!) and the downstairs restaurant was the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner.
And let’s not forget the food!! We loved being able to attend the group tasting and try so many options from the menu; it was hard to narrow our choice down to just one! At the reception, each guest’s meal came out perfectly prepared. We received so many compliments!
Most importantly, Lisa and her team are warm, friendly, and extremely professional! We were thrilled at the individual attention they paid to our event, we felt they treated us like family. She offered so many great ideas, addressed all my wants/needs and went above and beyond to make my day perfect. We had kamikaze shots for the head table, surprise PBR Bottles for the father of the bride, and a sparkler send off. Every detail was exceeded!! This venue was able to hold my large amount of guests (318) without being too cramped or looking overloaded. Almost every one of my guests told me the meal was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding, and I definitely agree! We had the center top cut sirloin, italian crusted chicken, and the wedding fields salad (With the shaved white chocolate topping). Every plate was warm, cooked to perfection, and top notch on presentation. Our hosted bar could not have been more perfect without Britton, if you want your guests to have a great time, request him!!! There were no long lines, unaddressed drink orders, or mix-ups throughout the entire night…all thanks to him. He even saved the last glass of the Sangria for me :) I cannot begin to thank everyone enough, almost brings me to tears when I think about the perfection of my big day!! BEST venue hands down!

The day was amazing and the atmosphere created in the ballroom was beautiful and fun. There wasn't much need for many additional decorations because of the great area in there already. The other employees were very kind and respectful when helping with our event. I really appreciated that this venue provided everything we needed so I only had to contact a florist and DJ. Everything else was handled well and respectfully by the venue. We also appreciated that we could play golf the weekend prior to our event and do a taste test months before. We were picky about small things like asking to make sure water was always full at the tables, changed a seating and cocktail hour location last minutes, and they got it all done no sweat!
Above all of that, the place turns out gorgeous no matter what your color scheme is! We were able to cut back on decor expenses because the place is so simply beautiful.

Everyone says it's pricey,but the biggest things I learned through wedding planning is you get what you pay for! We cut back on ONE thing- the party bus- and the AC went out on a 95 degree today and was the only thing that went wrong on our day! Plus, we compared the Fields to a few other Peoria area venues and it still was under! We have been to Embassy weddings, Pere Marquette, Packard Plaza, etc. and the Fields was by far the prettiest and get the most for what you pay for!!!
