We worked with Emily, and she was wonderful to work with. All of our needs were met, the staff was kind and helpful. We couldn’t recommend working with MFGC enough!
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Metamora Fields. The ceremony lawn was beautiful and we received several complements about how the ceremony was lovely. The upstairs bal...
lroom for our reception was beautiful. The only downside was that we had to wait an incredibly long time between our salad course and the entree course. Outside of that, we had a perfect day.
Emily the coordinator was very pleasant, however getting in contact with her is not the easiest. The venue is beautiful, the outside and inside! The food when we had our tasting wa...
s delicious, the food at the wedding was below average for them, everything was very dry. The wait staff need some training. They did not refill any tables beverages without multiple requests. However I was very pleased with being able to set up the day before and tear down the day after. As much as I loved the venue my expectations were higher.
I photograph weddings all over Illinois (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and I have to say the gold and white hued ballroom lined with airy windows is one of the most beautiful I have ...
seen. Although it rained on the wedding day, the venue had a separate, nicely intimate room for the ceremony. And the reception ballroom itself - wow! Highly recommend.
Absolutely stunning venue with amazing food!! Emily was also a JOY to work with and made the day so seamless and smooth. It was truly an amazing day!

We had a small ceremony and reception of about 40 people, on a Tuesday at that! We have gotten so many compliments about the food, venue and staff. Lisa and her staff were so accommodating in every way possible and it was very affordable. We wouldn’t have been able to have our perfect day if it weren’t for Lisa and the staff at Metamora Fields. I cannot rave about them enough!! I would recommend Metamora Fields to anyone! Go check them out!

t plan, let alone execute was amazing. Every, every, every little detail was done and knowing that Lisa Miller had it all under control caused me zero stress. She literally got there at 7 am and left 18 hours later as we were loading the last items up. We had outdoor lights everywhere, and every possible kind of station you could think of. She went above and beyond to make this the "Best Day Ever" for all of us. The food was also incredible. The prime rib was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the Italian crusted chicken was so flavorful. And then the amazing staff never missed a beat delivering the food, clearing the tables, and taking care of the guests all night. They also endured a very very hot day, but just kept on going. I know this wasn't the typical wedding, but everybody pitched in and made it absolutely gorgeous. The staff even helped with the clean-up. Truly an amazing experience and a 5 start experience.

e our ceremony outdoors at the gazebo and the cocktail hour on the stone patio; unfortunately the weather had other plans! Thankfully we were able to move our ceremony indoors, and I have absolutely no regrets. The ballroom is beautiful (especially the chandeliers!) and the downstairs restaurant was the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner.
And let’s not forget the food!! We loved being able to attend the group tasting and try so many options from the menu; it was hard to narrow our choice down to just one! At the reception, each guest’s meal came out perfectly prepared. We received so many compliments!
Most importantly, Lisa and her team are warm, friendly, and extremely professional! We were thrilled at the individual attention they paid to our event, we felt they treated us like family. Lisa kept us informed every step of the way and was such a calming presence amidst the chaos of the big day. We are so grateful for everything they did for us!

mora Fields I knew it was the perfect one, it is so beautiful! That was even before I knew how wonderful the people were to work with. Everyone at the venue is extremely helpful, organized, professional, and nice. They are there to help you with any questions you have and they know what they're doing and are able to foresee any possible problems in advance, therefore avoiding any issues. My reception went perfectly from start to finish and I know a lot of that had to do with the wonderful people working at Metamora Fields. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

t, to the rehearsal dinner on Friday through the last dance on Saturday, everything was perfect. We even got the weather we ordered thanks to Derek. The servers, the bartenders and the clean up crew for the rehearsal dinner and reception were all top notch. We could not have asked for a better experience.
As a wedding DJ, I've been to a lot of venues. As my wife and I looked for a venue for our wedding on November 5th, Metamora Fields was our number one choice. Since the day the Fie...
lds opened, Lisa Miller has been the Director of Events. You don't see very often a person that remains in a roll as long as she has in the Wedding industry. The venue is very elegant and spacious and the staff makes every detail special. From the initial meeting, to the well organized Tasting, to the bartenders, to the wait staff, and the clean up crew, EVERY person at the Fields was great! Oh, and the food was amazing. Hats off to the chef for not only providing a great meal for our reception, but for providing a great meal for our rehearsal dinner and taking the time to make up a couple meals for my wife and I to take back to our hotel for a midnight snack! There are not enough thanks we could give to Metamora Fields for making our weekend and our wedding day to best day of our lives! We highly recommend them for a wedding venue!

d hope for.
Lisa M. was invaluable during the planning process - she answered questions immediately and always tried to be available if we decided to stop by the venue.
The food and wait staff were both excellent and all of the guests commented on the delicious appetizers, meal options, and late night food. The bar package and house-made Peach Sangria were also wonderful. Hands down, I would definitely recommend Metamora Fields to any couples looking for a wedding reception venue.
I truly do not have enough space in this review to write how miraculous and incredible this venue is. Not only did it have the most elegant décor, matching perfect with my wedding ...
theme, but it also had Lisa. Lisa, their wedding coordinator, was by my side from day 1. We became quite close since I was emailing her almost daily for 6 months straight. She offered so many great ideas, addressed all my wants/needs and went above and beyond to make my day perfect. She was able to help me personalize my wedding, making it everything I had dreamed about. We had kamikaze shots for the head table, surprise PBR Bottles for the father of the bride, and a sparkler send off. Every detail was exceeded!! This venue was able to hold my large amount of guests (318) without being too cramped or looking overloaded. Almost every one of my guests told me the meal was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding, and I definitely agree! We had the center top cut sirloin, italian crusted chicken, and the wedding fields salad (With the shaved white chocolate topping). Every plate was warm, cooked to perfection, and top notch on presentation. Our hosted bar could not have been more perfect without Britton, if you want your guests to have a great time, request him!!! There were no long lines, unaddressed drink orders, or mix-ups throughout the entire night…all thanks to him. He even saved the last glass of the Sangria for me :) I cannot begin to thank everyone enough, almost brings me to tears when I think about the perfection of my big day!! BEST venue hands down!
We had our July 29 wedding at Metamora Fields and can't rave enough about the venue. Lisa Miller, the events director, is willing to work closely with you to make sure that everyt...
hing runs smoothly. We exchanged multiple emails, had several meetings, and attended the tasting in February to make sure that everything was what we wanted and ran correctly. The day was amazing and the atmosphere created in the ballroom was beautiful and fun. There wasn't much need for many additional decorations because of the great area in there already. We got some fantastic outdoor pictures with the golf course as the back drop. It will be a day that we will always remember due in a large part to the efforts of Lisa and the gorgeousness of the venue.

ything very easy for us by giving us a list of everything we could possibly need for the reception. We have a huge family and he was very patient and accommodating as we went back and forth on our decisions for our large wedding reception. We forgot a couple of things at metamora fields after the reception and they kept our belongings safe. After pricing out venues for a party of 400 guests, metamora fields was by far the best deal in town! Our guests loved the venue and we received many compliments about the gorgeous venue.
Our day was PERFECT!! Lisa does and amazing job at making sure your day goes smooth! I loved everything about it. She was very helpful, well organized, and kept everything very ea...
sy. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all in one place. Makes it very comforting to deal with just one venue for all. Her staff was wonderful as well to work with when planning food and making any changes to accommodate us. We used the outside patio for our ceremony and held about 200 people. It was incredible. I would highly rec. using Metamora Fields.
This venue was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The clubhouse was clean and updated. The reception ballroom was BEAUTIFUL! The outdoor area was wonderful a...
nd easily held our large group of guest. I appreciated the setup and takedown of everything without our help. The chef's provided multiple options for us to pick from for our meals. The food was delicious and sangria was tasty! Matt was easy to communicate with, get ahold of, and answered all of our questions. There was flexibility in our meetings and arrangements of pay. The other employees were very kind and respectful when helping with our event. I really appreciated that this venue provided everything we needed so I only had to contact a florist and DJ. Everything else was handled well and respectfully by the venue. We also appreciated that we could play golf the weekend prior to our event and do a taste test months before. This was the best decision we made for our wedding!
Metamora Fields was absolutely beautiful for our big day! The reception hall has great natural lighting, which gives the venue a completely different effect than your typical hotel...
ball room. We planned the reception with Matt who was fantastic to work with. He made sure every little detail was taken care of for the big day. They iced down the water bottles for our outdoor ceremony, took guests gifts upstairs to the gift table before the ceremony, and the food was immaculate. If you're looking for a unique venue in Central Illinois where the staff will take great care of you, Metamora Fields is your place. We could not have been more happy with the service at The Fields!

tress free and enjoyable. She even ran to Subway for us the day of our wedding. You're the best Lisa!!! As for the venue, absolutely breath taking! So gorgeous inside and out. Everyone loved all the food and the hour derives were HUGE!! No one left hungry! I cannot say enough good things about Metamora Fields. Go check it out yourself and fall in love all over again :)
Lisa was so very helpful and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire year of planning!! She was willing to meet with us whenever we would randomly need to and went through ...
the contract number by number with us so we felt we were getting the best deal and understood everything! Our wedding reception went so very smoothly because of their staff! We were picky about small things like asking to make sure water was always full at the tables, changed a seating and cocktail hour location last minutes, and they got it all done no sweat!
Above all of that, the place turns out gorgeous no matter what your color scheme is! We were able to cut back on decor expenses because the place is so simply beautiful.
The food turned out delicious (stuffed pork loin and italian crusted chicken).
The set up is ideal too! We out the parent tables and young friends surrounding the dance floor and our head table was tiered in front of the beautiful big window.
Tons of guests and ourselves got beautiful sunset pictures on the balcony overlooking the course.
Everyone says it's pricey, but the biggest things I learned through wedding planning is you get what you pay for! We cut back on ONE thing- the party bus- and the AC went out on a 95 degree today and was the only thing that went wrong on our day! Plus, we compared the Fields to a few other Peoria area venues and it still was under! We have been to Embassy weddings, Pere Marquette, Packard Plaza, etc. and the Fields was by far the prettiest and get the most for what you pay for!!!
A little pricey (as others have said), but everything went off without a hitch. Lisa, the event coordinator, was absolutely wonderful - she responded to emails quickly, got questio...
ns answered with plenty of time to spare, and even showed up to help decorate on the day before.
At the reception itself, we got lots of compliments on the food - the baked potatoes melted in your mouth, the green beans were crispy and delicious, and the steak was perfectly cooked.
Overall, I would have no problems recommending Metamora Fields!
This was a bit pricey but not in comparison to other locations in the area.
Some may think I'm a little biased being from Metamora, but I really cannot think of a more beautiful venue to hold my wedding reception. The chandeliers are stunning and caught t...
he up-lights around the room perfectly; I am still receiving compliments on the food (Filet Mignon and Grilled Chicken); and the service the night of the wedding was great. You will have to stay on top of the plans, as the coordination is a little slow but definitely worth the work!!!
These guys were great to work with!! A little pricey, but overall fantastic! They answered all of my questions, were easy to work with, very flexible, and got back to me within a t...

The event coordinator was very helpful as was the staff. Ballroom is spacious and well kept. Food was delicious!!! So many compliments.
