ooked stunning. We got so many compliments, some of which said “your center pieces were the nicest I have ever seen at a wedding”. We were given the option to also utilize our chuppah during our reception, which then meant they built our bar under it. It was placed in front of the brick wall in our reception room at Village Clubs At Lake Success. It looked absolutely stunning and I am so glad we were approached with this option 20 minutes before the wedding started. It is actually one of my favorite parts of the ballroom looking back at photos. My main issue is with my bouquets. I was honest with metro from the beginning, I truly know nothing about flowers. I had sent them a photo of inspiration and the photo was of a white-appearing bouquet. I was told after the fact that it was fake flowers, which I can understand is 100% right since the photo was from etsy, but on the day of my wedding when we got the bouquets, they were off white/yellow appearing. My dress was white so I was not too happy with this. Again, I admitted I had known nothing about flowers but I did express to Adrian I wish this was addressed before they made them. I had a specific look in my head. The bouquets were of course beautiful but not what I wanted for photos. I don’t regret working with Metro, everything really did look beautiful, I just recommend being very specific and asking if what you’re asking for will look identical or if there will be obvious differences. al designs. I would ask for her directly if you work with this company. I give them a 5 because of this. My chuppah was literally out of a dream. Even my photographers gasped when they first saw it! All my guests talked about it and I'm still getting comments about it. I gave her my budget and she made it happen. My bouquets, the centerpieces, the hanging votives, my colors - it was all amazing and really what I asked for, with some creative license (which I okayed at the beginning).
I will say this, however: this isn't a "warm and fuzzy" kind of place that will sit patiently with you. That's really not the most important thing to me, I just need a great outcome, but I didn't feel particularly valued. There were other florists we interviewed that really gave us that warm and fuzzy feeling - but they were not able to offer as much as Metro Floral Designs and the designs at Metro were amazing.
Also, there is some lack of attention to detail. Although my overall wedding was great, and my guests had no idea that these things were missing - I specifically asked for our easel to be covered in flowers, which wasn't done, and for our cake to be lush with florals, but it wasn't. We were supposed to have a runner down our aisle, which wasn't there (not sure if this was on purpose because honestly it looked gorgeous without it). We were also supposed to have flowers by the stairs where we did our first look, but those weren't placed. Again, these details weren't enough for me to knock off a star, but it's something to keep in mind. It's an easily fixable thing - I would 100 percent use them again, but I would be sure to do a very thorough run through a day or two before my event to make sure everything is in order and nothing is forgotten.
At the end of the day, I was extremely happy with the designs and would use them again!

Having gone to half a dozen appointments (COVID bride) to go over finalizations Adrian reassured me that he knew exactly what look I was going for and that I wouldn’t be disappointed, but charged me additional 20% on top of what I had originally paid ONE WEEK before my wedding. Obviously, out of desperation to get to my wedding day at this point having waited over one year my husband and I agreed. Comes the day of the wedding and it’s NOTHING as I had expected….. complete opposites. I had asked him for gold metal rods .. he gave me tree branches. They kept telling me this is what I wanted as if I wouldn’t have noticed. I asked them to pull out the contract and he realized he messed up but did absolutely nothing about it. I HATED it and was in a verge of breakdown hours before the wedding. The colors of my flowers were not what I had asked for and when asked the workers they simply said “we ran out of flowers so we have to use these” …… do you not come into weddings fully prepared??? So that this doesn’t happen? Completely unacceptable ESPECIALLY if you’re working in the wedding industry. Way too much time and money goes into this.

aused a lot of stress on the day of my wedding. My bouquet was completely different than what we had agreed on and it took them all afternoon to bring me the right one. As a result, none of the pictures before the ceremony were taken with my bouquet. Also, we had ordered colorful flowers for the entrance of our venue and for the cocktail hour. For the entrance of the venue, the owner had promised us a gorgeous setup only to find that they had put cheap looking and empty vases of completely different white flowers in the front. The cocktail hour flowers were fine but also white and completely different from what we had ordered. Not acceptable. Do yourself a favor and go with another more reliable florist.

Fortunately they've been understanding because they can see just how bad the harassment has gotten and are helping me to work this out. If you go, ask for Yovany. He is the owner and super nice and very flexible - he is professional and will deliver on your vision.
CONS: Their marketing methods were a little invasive. They obtained cell phone numbers from brides that attended a NY bridal show and directly texted me. I felt a little hussled, however when I went to see their branch and discussed pricing with Yovany, I decided to go with them. I think that with their years of service and great reviews, they shouldn't have to rely on this marketing method.
They are also not as responsive. When you get Yovany on the phone, you get business done. Otherwise, you rarely hear back and you need to be active in reaching out to them for the information you want.
PRICING: Yovany will work with you on pricing. They are flexible and want your business. I wanted top notch flowers (no centerpieces) and got a deal for $700. This included 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 tossing bouquet, 1 bride bouquet, 1 groom boutonniere, 5 groomsmen and fathers boutonnieres, 2 stems of red roses for mothers.
Additionally, they threw in flower girl's satin basket and petals as a service item.

ted to think, afterwards, that we were being overcharged and taken for a ride. When we asked for a price breakdown, some things just didn't make sense. (for example, we were being charged $500!!!! for a custom runner that we ended up buying online for $80!!!) So we started asking to cut out as much a as we could and keep only the essentials. When we tried to make a few more deductions right before the wedding, they said we couldn't make any more changes. The response we received seemed as if they wouldn't adjust beyond/lower than a certain monetary figure.
Also, we had discussed that the florist would set up the aisle, including the runner already pulled down the aisle and lined with flower petals. I thought this was a little strange because traditionally only the bride walks on the runner, but he insisted otherwise, which was fine by me. On the day of the wedding, however, the runner was never set up and I had never assigned anyone else to pull it for me because I thought it would be done already. My brother jumped in a pulled it, but didn't get to until after my flower girls dropped flowers on the ground :(
Despite this disappointment, the aisle was nicely decorated, my bouquet was gorgeous; they even decorated the front of the church and threw in the toss bouquet (2 of the many things we had taken out of our bill to deduct $550 ).
What can I say? Had I been wise, I would've compared the figures to other florists before signing a contract with them.

If you dont want your special day mess up dont get flowers or anything from them since they wont show up and if they do they will go after everything had ended.. They lie to me and my relatives when we kept calling to see where were the flowers they kept saying they were almost there but it was a lie.. On top of everything (all the stress already caused) now Metro Flowers Decorators lied on their statement: "customer has been refunded in full"... That's a big lie.
