I can’t thank Adrian and his team enough for bringing my dream wedding flowers to life! 🌸 From the very beginning, Adrian was such a pleasure to work with, he truly listened to ev...
erything I envisioned and guided me with his expertise and creativity. The end result was beyond anything I could have imagined, absolutely stunning and exactly what I hoped for. I completely trust Adrian’s eye and artistry, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful , high-quality florals. I can’t wait to work with him again for future events! Thank you for making my dream a reality!
We hired Metro for our March 2023 wedding. They came highly recommended by many people we know, as well as our venue manager! At the end of the day, our center pieces and chuppah l...
ooked stunning. We got so many compliments, some of which said “your center pieces were the nicest I have ever seen at a wedding”. We were given the option to also utilize our chuppah during our reception, which then meant they built our bar under it. It was placed in front of the brick wall in our reception room at Village Clubs At Lake Success. It looked absolutely stunning and I am so glad we were approached with this option 20 minutes before the wedding started. It is actually one of my favorite parts of the ballroom looking back at photos. My main issue is with my bouquets. I was honest with metro from the beginning, I truly know nothing about flowers. I had sent them a photo of inspiration and the photo was of a white-appearing bouquet. I was told after the fact that it was fake flowers, which I can understand is 100% right since the photo was from etsy, but on the day of my wedding when we got the bouquets, they were off white/yellow appearing. My dress was white so I was not too happy with this. Again, I admitted I had known nothing about flowers but I did express to Adrian I wish this was addressed before they made them. I had a specific look in my head. The bouquets were of course beautiful but not what I wanted for photos. I don’t regret working with Metro, everything really did look beautiful, I just recommend being very specific and asking if what you’re asking for will look identical or if there will be obvious differences. Wishing Metro all the best.
We recently used this company for our wedding. We worked with Fariba directly as she came highly recommended. I will say, she has amazing vision and is extremely talented with flor...
al designs. I would ask for her directly if you work with this company. I give them a 5 because of this. My chuppah was literally out of a dream. Even my photographers gasped when they first saw it! All my guests talked about it and I'm still getting comments about it. I gave her my budget and she made it happen. My bouquets, the centerpieces, the hanging votives, my colors - it was all amazing and really what I asked for, with some creative license (which I okayed at the beginning).
I will say this, however: this isn't a "warm and fuzzy" kind of place that will sit patiently with you. That's really not the most important thing to me, I just need a great outcome, but I didn't feel particularly valued. There were other florists we interviewed that really gave us that warm and fuzzy feeling - but they were not able to offer as much as Metro Floral Designs and the designs at Metro were amazing.
Also, there is some lack of attention to detail. Although my overall wedding was great, and my guests had no idea that these things were missing - I specifically asked for our easel to be covered in flowers, which wasn't done, and for our cake to be lush with florals, but it wasn't. We were supposed to have a runner down our aisle, which wasn't there (not sure if this was on purpose because honestly it looked gorgeous without it). We were also supposed to have flowers by the stairs where we did our first look, but those weren't placed. Again, these details weren't enough for me to knock off a star, but it's something to keep in mind. It's an easily fixable thing - I would 100 percent use them again, but I would be sure to do a very thorough run through a day or two before my event to make sure everything is in order and nothing is forgotten.
At the end of the day, I was extremely happy with the designs and would use them again!

e blossoms since we love them and they were in season. Adrian blew us away with the designs, the center pieces were spectacular, the chuppah was the most beautiful I'd ever seen, like something out of a story book. Adrian was a pleasure to work with- he knew the ins and outs of our venue. He also understood our vision and made it come to life beyond our wildest imaginations. All our guests are still commenting on how amazing the flowers looked.

ng. Again, Waited for revised contract. Too much stress planning a wedding without florist not being responsive. Day of flowers were beautiful but not exactly what we ordered especially the bridal bouquet. Staff on site were great. Also added additional $ due to supply chain. Very expensive and too much work to deal with.
Metro Floral Designs was INCREDIBLE! Best florist we could have possibly have worked with for our wedding. Adrian truly brought our vision come to life on our wedding day. From the...
rehearsal dinner florals to the actual wedding, every detail was flawless. We honestly could not be happier with their work and the team. My husband and I actually enjoyed coming to every floral meeting leading up to the wedding to brainstorm with Adrian. Everything was perfect!!! I would highly recommend Adrian and Metro floral designs. Thank you Metro team!
Adrian and his team transformed my wedding into a fairytale! He went above and beyond in every way. The florals were outstanding and he was such a pleasure to work with!

ign come to life and the end work was AMAZING!!! The freshest and most beautiful and unique flowers that I have ever seen. They have such a talented team with fresh ideas and designs that took our wedding to the next level. It was a pleasure working with Adrian. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My family and I have been working with Adrian for a few years now, he’s been doing all the weddings I’ve attended and my sisters. I trusted him so I hired him for my wedding as wel...
l. Having gone to half a dozen appointments (COVID bride) to go over finalizations Adrian reassured me that he knew exactly what look I was going for and that I wouldn’t be disappointed, but charged me additional 20% on top of what I had originally paid ONE WEEK before my wedding. Obviously, out of desperation to get to my wedding day at this point having waited over one year my husband and I agreed. Comes the day of the wedding and it’s NOTHING as I had expected….. complete opposites. I had asked him for gold metal rods .. he gave me tree branches. They kept telling me this is what I wanted as if I wouldn’t have noticed. I asked them to pull out the contract and he realized he messed up but did absolutely nothing about it. I HATED it and was in a verge of breakdown hours before the wedding. The colors of my flowers were not what I had asked for and when asked the workers they simply said “we ran out of flowers so we have to use these” …… do you not come into weddings fully prepared??? So that this doesn’t happen? Completely unacceptable ESPECIALLY if you’re working in the wedding industry. Way too much time and money goes into this.
You’d think that’s as bad as it gets but on top of all of this, they completely forgot about my wedding cake design and used flowers from my center piece to add on to my cake. Leaving behind an incomplete and a half a** job.
I texted Adrian addressing the concerns 2 days after the wedding and no response from him. I will never be working with metro again as there are wayyyyy better competitors out there at a better price. Save yourself the headache. They’re scamming you and don’t care about your event. Only care about making profit.
Adrian did such an incredible job with our June 13th wedding. We went in with a rough idea of what I wanted and the final products were even better than our vision! He was easy to ...
work with and genuinely wanted to make us happy. Our chuppah, centerpieces, and bouquets all had similar elements but each piece was unique. Our guests raved about our beautiful decor and the variety of white flowers and greenery used. We cannot say enough good things about Adrian, his team, or their work!

autiful centerpieces and our table of 18 for the wedding party was like nothing I’ve ever seen before! I would recommend them 100%
We used Metro Floral Designs for our wedding July 2019 and the flowers were outstanding. We are still receiving comments from all our guests how fresh and beautiful they were. We ...
worked with Adrian who helped make our floral vision come true. No detail was overlooked, the centerpieces were all humongous with gorgeous flowers, the card table was elegant to look at, the welcome table had multiple vases with different flowers, the bridal bouquets were just what I imagined, the cake had beautiful flowers arranged delicately, and our sweetheart table had the most outrageous centerpiece, which we were not even expecting. I highly recommend Adrian and the Metro Floral crew, they will help you make your visions come true and even better! Thank you for your amazing display of flowers, you made our day even more beautiful!

ood what we wanted and what we were going for! When we entered our hall for the first look we were completely blown away! It was absolutely beautiful! I’ve had people tell us our room looked like a celebrity wedding our flowers were so incredibly beautiful! Thank you Adrian!!!

d the center pieces were stunning. My bouquet was exactly how I told them I wanted and it looked beautiful.
I was a little disappointed though at the flowers that they brought for the cake, as they were definitely not what we had agreed on, I explicitly said that I wanted either the ones like I had on my bouquet or like the chuppah, but they just threw a couple of orchids on it, without even arranging them the way we had agreed on. BUT everything was still unbelievable and would definitely work with them again

ooking for the typical flowers and wanted them to have a Wow Factor. Adrian and his team fully delivered! Guests were excited by the smells of each room they walked in and a week later cannot stop posting pictures and talking about how beautiful the flowers made the room! Thank you again Adrian!
I had the pleasure of meeting with Adrian, one of the Owners...after having met with several other Florists and discussing centerpieces I already knew what I wanted and the design....
Pricing was where I had a problem...Let's just say whatever you floral budget is, throw it out the window. Flowers play a pivotal role in your wedding so you'll have to pay to have something beautiful, but if I could do it all again or even recommend anyone it would be Metro Floral. My wedding was December 17th 2017, I booked my Venue on 9/2/2017 and met with them in october...so all thi planning was done in 2 months. I showed Adrian what i had envisioned and he discussed with me what he could do and how to work with me. All i can keep saying is I am blown away!!!! their work is flawless and if you don't believe me go to their ig @metrofloralevents I promise what you see there is what they deliver, and they are very willing to help you get what you want at a reasonable budget. Thank you again i swear I teared up just seeing everything they did for me. I was truly blessed to have had the pleasure to work with them

The flowers at my wedding were absolutely stunning. It was truly amazing to see my vision come to life exactly as I imagined them. Fariba had the patience to meet with me 3 times. ...
She and I discussed what I wanted in detail and she worked with me to design the chuppah and centerpieces. I cannot thank Fariba and Adrian enough for how beautifully everything came together. My family and friends were amazed as well and would not stop talking about my chuppah especially. People are still talking about my flowers and a few of my family members even called to ask me for Metro's information. Metro delivers 1000x over.

elieve how amazing everything was! Fariba has so much patience! I would call her so many times and she always answered everything. I still can't believe what an amazing job they did. The amount of flowers that they used for my chuppah was amazing! Booking Metro will be the best decision of your wedding!! Fariba and the team.. love you guys!!!!

tables and runners made of flowers for rectangular tables with candelabras. The room looked amazing. Guests couldn't stop complimenting us on the selections we picked and Metro Florist for the quality of the work.
Thanks so much for making our wedding so unique and special.

aused a lot of stress on the day of my wedding. My bouquet was completely different than what we had agreed on and it took them all afternoon to bring me the right one. As a result, none of the pictures before the ceremony were taken with my bouquet. Also, we had ordered colorful flowers for the entrance of our venue and for the cocktail hour. For the entrance of the venue, the owner had promised us a gorgeous setup only to find that they had put cheap looking and empty vases of completely different white flowers in the front. The cocktail hour flowers were fine but also white and completely different from what we had ordered. Not acceptable. Do yourself a favor and go with another more reliable florist.
Metro was able to bring to life the Chuppah of my dreams. It is truly worth the investment because the pictures look stunning.
I started receiving spam text messages from Alex of "metro events", also known as metro floral decorators. 9 texts, per day, EVERY day. I don't have a texting plan so I'm being cha...
rged for all the messages! I tried blocking them but they keep going through and now I have to work this out with my phone plan. Fortunately they've been understanding because they can see just how bad the harassment has gotten and are helping me to work this out. My entire phone bill is just text messages from them, 4 pages long- of just them. Terrible company. DO NOT give them your business.
PROS: Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous flower arrangements. If you want to be guaranteed the bouquets that you envisioned, definitely go with these guys. It's a family business that has ...
existed for several years and they have 2 locations. I visited the Astoria office.
If you go, ask for Yovany. He is the owner and super nice and very flexible - he is professional and will deliver on your vision.
CONS: Their marketing methods were a little invasive. They obtained cell phone numbers from brides that attended a NY bridal show and directly texted me. I felt a little hussled, however when I went to see their branch and discussed pricing with Yovany, I decided to go with them. I think that with their years of service and great reviews, they shouldn't have to rely on this marketing method.
They are also not as responsive. When you get Yovany on the phone, you get business done. Otherwise, you rarely hear back and you need to be active in reaching out to them for the information you want.
PRICING: Yovany will work with you on pricing. They are flexible and want your business. I wanted top notch flowers (no centerpieces) and got a deal for $700. This included 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 tossing bouquet, 1 bride bouquet, 1 groom boutonniere, 5 groomsmen and fathers boutonnieres, 2 stems of red roses for mothers.
Additionally, they threw in flower girl's satin basket and petals as a service item.
All of the flowers were beautiful however the service was horrible. The salesperson offered a lot things at the time of sale that the owner later would not honor. When confronted...
with texts that proved that they were offered, they still were not honored until I got angry and spoke directly to the owner forcefully. They delivered my centerpieces 15 minutes before my reception started and told my wedding coordinator to "relax, we have time" when she kept calling them. While their prices were reasonable and the flowers were exactly what I wanted, their service caused quite a bit of stress to an already stressed bride.

e chuppah was out of this world! He took my vision and totally ran with it with his own creativity. The chuppah actually looks even more sensational in the photos than we realized it would while we were standing under it that day. Adrien patiently drew up and reviewed the contract with us well ahead of time and we got everything we paid for and more. I could not be more confident when I recommend them to friends and whoever might read this review on the internet. Hire Metro, you will not be sorry!
My flowers were perfect. The bouquets were amazing. At the beginning I was not very happy with them because there is this guy Alez who work there that apparently doesn't know much....
However i spoke to the owner and he was very friendly and my day turn out to be perfect.
Funny part is that i am still getting texts from Alex asking when i will come for my flowers!!!
Metro rally lived up to their reputation. I got so many compliments on our flowers during and after the wedding. Everything was beautiful... huge centerpieces, a beautiful chuppah,...
and the decor all over the venue. Fariba was absolutely amazing to work with. She saw my vision and made it come to life. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

unique and beautiful. Everything I asked for was there and more. My chuppa for the ceremony came out even more beautiful than I imagined. I could not have been happier with the service and beautiful flowers for my wedding!

text me such a long message that I received 30 Text Messages from them AT WORK!!! 30 TEXT MESSAGES!!! That is beyond uncalled for and on the verge of harassment!!! Maybe I would have considered using you if you left me a voicemail the first call, but now, NEVER!!!! What horrible advertising!!! Your Designer and Sales Manager Alexander should not be given clients phone numbers!!! It's ruining your business!!!

The first sells representative I had, Alex, was horrible and very rude, but then Veronica took over and saved the day.
The product was beautiful but it was not exactly what we discussed. They were very hard to deal with and unprofessional. But the end result was pretty.

calling to tell me how beautiful my chuppah was, and the flowers in the reception were perfect. The ambiance was exactly what I was looking for.
This is a little hard to review because pricing can be subjective. Overall, we (because of me) booked with this vendor without comparing prices or thinking it through. We soon star...
ted to think, afterwards, that we were being overcharged and taken for a ride. When we asked for a price breakdown, some things just didn't make sense. (for example, we were being charged $500!!!! for a custom runner that we ended up buying online for $80!!!) So we started asking to cut out as much a as we could and keep only the essentials. When we tried to make a few more deductions right before the wedding, they said we couldn't make any more changes. The response we received seemed as if they wouldn't adjust beyond/lower than a certain monetary figure.
Also, we had discussed that the florist would set up the aisle, including the runner already pulled down the aisle and lined with flower petals. I thought this was a little strange because traditionally only the bride walks on the runner, but he insisted otherwise, which was fine by me. On the day of the wedding, however, the runner was never set up and I had never assigned anyone else to pull it for me because I thought it would be done already. My brother jumped in a pulled it, but didn't get to until after my flower girls dropped flowers on the ground :(
Despite this disappointment, the aisle was nicely decorated, my bouquet was gorgeous; they even decorated the front of the church and threw in the toss bouquet (2 of the many things we had taken out of our bill to deduct $550 ).
What can I say? Had I been wise, I would've compared the figures to other florists before signing a contract with them.
All I can say is GORGEOUS!!!!! They transformed the wedding venue and really made it look absolutely beautiful! I would trust this company to deliver only the best and most stunnin...
g!
We planned our Wedding from 700 miles away without looking at any arrangements and they did exactly, actually more than what was promised. Amazing to work with!
They made by center pieces and bouquet exactly what I wanted. They did a great job for a lot less than what other florists wanted.
If you dont want to have any flowers on your wedding day this will be the place to go.. They were supposed to be in my house at 11a.m. and they got there at 3:15p.m. when all my pi...
ctures had been taken and i was on my way to church. They were to supposed to be in church at 2:30p.m. and they got there at 4:40 when my ceremony was over. Oh yes it gets better. When I walked into my reception hall there they are with all my flowers from church putting them every where around my reception hall pretending that nothing had happened. We refused all flowers and with the exception on my bouquet which I only used to walk down the aile with since all my pictures had been taken by the time they got there. We had to argue with them to get them to take all the flowers from church back and out of reception hall. After hooneymoon I went back with my husband to get a refound back.. not even for the full amount since we kept bouquet but only for all the church flowers that never made it. Metro Floral decorators refused to give us our money back therefore now we have to waste time taking them to court.. I guess the judge will decided within a month or so if we are getting the money back.. If you dont want your special day mess up dont get flowers or anything from them since they wont show up and if they do they will go after everything had ended.. They lie to me and my relatives when we kept calling to see where were the flowers they kept saying they were almost there but it was a lie.. Also I paid extra money for nice stands for flower arrangements in church and what I saw they brought to reception hall was cheap metal ones that didnt even needed to be return...
On top of everything (all the stress already caused) now Metro Flowers Decorators lied on their statement: "customer has been refunded in full"... That's a big lie. As of today (November 22,2011) they have not returned one penny.. That's why next month the judge will decide whether or not they should return our money .

The centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely perfect. I sent a picture of the bouquet I wanted to the florist and it turned out better than I could imagine.
