He even mixed a special Prince introduction for our wedding. He kept the dance floor so full, we had to break down a few extra tables. He not only reviewed everything from ceremony songs to type of music we liked, but also took notes on how to pronounce everyone's names and also took time to look over the "schedule" from The Sonnet House to ensure that he was on key with them to keep the day moving smoothly. Steve really knows his stuff! He played the most fun music and kept the crowd dancing. He had people on the dance floor that I have never seen dance before and kept us out there the ENTIRE evening. He played everything so that everyone could enjoy the music and had the perfect amount of interaction with the crowd. I have already had several people ask for his contact information for their company parties and other events. He is a joy to work with and great at what he does. husband and parents wanted a band. I asked around for DJ suggestions and basically everyone said Metropolitan DJ (Steve Metz). When Mom called, he said he was booked but he had another dj Paul Gradl. I had only heard of Steve, but I decided to go with it. Paul was super nice when we first met. I had asked if we could be introduced with a fog machine and thunderstruck. He loved that idea, which I knew we would get along after that. They asked me to fill out this package to tell them more about my taste in music and what I would prefer. I ended up filling it up to the extreme. I had to apologize and explain how much this part of the wedding meant to me. No pressure on them haha. I think they appreciated my love for music. They were so accomodating. The week before the wedding, we met and set up a timeline of how the reception would flow. Paul followed the timeline. It was so nice to have that direction. It was nice to know that someone was going to handle everything at the reception so none of us would have to worry about what time it was and what to do next. He helped keep everyone entertained. He played all the music I had put on my list...well most of it as he didn't have time to play it all. He took requests from the crowd. Everyone talked about the music afterwards. They all really liked the job he did. Everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time. I had fun with Paul! I couldn't have asked for anything more from him.

My recpetion was in the Depot Roundhouse in Huntsville and Steve provided blue uplights around the room, blue and white lanterns hanging above the dance floor and made a special monogram just for us. Thanks to Metropolitan DJ Service I had the exact reception I wanted and they created a reception my friends and family will not forget. Best decision I made!!
