ould be your choice. Not only did they seamlessly transition us through the day’s events – from early morning until our evening farewell by the lake - they did it calmly and reassuringly. They were also creative, never short on ideas, providing us with plenty of alternative shots when we needed them. If we had any concerns that day, Mary and Rich dispelled them. We were completely put at ease and were able to enjoy our wedding and our guests. We met with them a few times prior to our big day so they could get to know us and us them. They took detailed notes and told us what to expect based on our preferences. Pre-planning was surely key to what turned into a beautiful day for us and our guests. best thing is that they are the only photographers so you know exactly what you are going to get. We started with engagement pictures that came out beautiful. At the wedding, we know that they took hundreds of pictures, but they were never obtrusive. Fast forward to our engagement photo session: I have never done a professional photo shoot and I was nervous. I was doubting every outfit I tried on and trying to study up on the latest Pinterest poses. Mary Ellen was available and responsive to my questions (phone and email), and is just a lovely person to work with. She chose a few local locations that were peaceful and scenic. I instantly felt myself trust her as the session began, and I started having fun and feeling totally empowered and beautiful. My fiance even enjoyed it and he isn't the biggest fan of having his picture taken. Mary Ellen did some of the poses I suggested and I could tell she had really listened to me, but she also gave great direction and knew exactly how to get the right angles. She even surprised my fiance with a cupcake and candle for his birthday (yes, he spent his birthday being a good sport at a photo shoot) and got the sweetest picture of the two of us. The day was perfect, but I was still doubting how the pictures of us would actually turn out. Would I look ok? Would my smile be on point? Well we just got our picture files (with a quick turnaround time) and I'm absolutely blown away! The quality and crispness, the moments that were captured, the perfect angles, the editing... all perfect. We have it narrowed down to about 25 favorite poses that we can't choose between because we love them all, and there were so many more files to choose from. Aside from having beautiful pictures, all of my anxieties about how my wedding pictures will turn out are totally gone. I'm 100% confident and excited to see how Mary Ellen and Rich capture my big day :)

My husband was very happy that he was thanked for his military service and was even given a very nice token of appreciation by Rich for his years of service in the US Navy. We were amazed to see so many gorgeous albums in the home office that we could not say no and sent off our deposit check asap. Having a husband and wife that combined two different yet similar, passionate views of photography really made our photos stand out. The attention to detail and learning our story made such a special touch that was greatly appreciated. There was nothing that was missed on our big day. As soon as my husband and I left their house (where they work out of) we both looked at each other and said "they are the ones!". We cancelled another consultation we had scheduled and decided to use them and I am so so happy I did!! Everything went smoothly, they are very fairly priced, they are husband and wife (Rich and Mary Ellen) and work very well together, they are so detailed and professional and most of all just genuinely nice human beings. You can tell they are true veterans because they are on top of EVERYTHING!! There was not one moment missed and I have so many beautiful pictures that captured my big day perfectly. n our package and put them on a cd for us! The day of the wedding they came to the house and they were awesome! They kept everyone organized, As I was having my makeup done in another room I heard Mary talking to the flower girl and she made her feel like a princess for the day! (And that moment there I will remember forever) They did photos at the house, then we went for photos at our venue next, and that's where they set up a 1st look for my now husband and I. They set us up then both of them took reaction photos from either angle which I'm sure came awesome! Next we went to church for ceremony then we took family pics there. Mary wears a designer fanny pack with note cards of people who we wanted to group for photos and she remembers everyone's names from our prior discussions which is amazing. So we had the family pics and it ran so smooth. Next off to the venue again for the recption. They took lots of pics there and our guests mentioned after the wedding that they were great and non intrusive which is great to hear. At the end of the night Rich took a night picture of us and that was really neat. Since our wedding is over its gonna be sad not working with Rich and Maryellen as they are very genuine, and we even felt like they were apart of our family! We would recommend them in a heart beat!
