I wish I could give Matt more than 5 stars. We saw his work online and instantly fell in love. We talked briefly over the phone but didn’t meet until our wedding day. I was a little nervous about that, but Matt was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning phase. I would send an email and always receive a response back in the same day. That’s not something I expect but it certainly helped give me one less thing to be anxious about. On the actual wedding day, Matt was just as wonderful. He knew what shots to take and captured the special moments perfectly. We just got our photos back and all I can say is WOW. They were better than I could have every imagined. Our wedding was very colorful and Matt captured that perfectly. They are all beautifully edited and I have no idea how we are going to decide which ones to frame as we want to frame them all! I cannot say enough good things about Matt. Thank you for making capturing our wedding and giving us photos that we will treasure for life!

I rarely write reviews but I know how much people rely on them and Matt earned this positive review. My husband and I are so blessed and happy we got Matt as our photographer for our wedding. Everyone, including some of my very honest family members with high standards, were more than happy with how they turned out. His work is beautiful- he even captured beautiful pictures of my dad and I as two people who can't dance and are not physically affectionate. Matt was professional, kind and calm throughout the whole process, which are very important qualities to have in a photographer when you're most likely stressed up to and on your wedding day. I was so worried that my small and asymmetrical Asian eyes would ruin the photos and I'm just not someone who is comfortable in front of the camera. But Matt was so calm and talented that they turned out to be non-issues. He was even kind enough to meet up with my husband and I on a Friday night a month before our wedding to let me air our my concerns and ask all my questions. I spent hours creating inspiration Pinterest boards and a list of all the "necessary" shots. But I found out it wasn't necessary because Matt has so many experience and knows what needs to be done to make you and your loved ones look good. My advice is hire Matt and trust him so you can enjoy your wedding day and be absolutely happy with your photos.

The minute we reviewed Matt's instagram, we knew he was the one. Matt has a keen eye for photography, artistic really. He creates BEAUTIFUL compositions with his camera, and has a knack for capturing movement and intimacy. Seriously, go take a look and see for yourself! We had our wedding at Justine's Secret House in Austin. TX. The space is moody, vibey, very Parisian, very retro. It has its own aesthetic. We wanted to be sure we found a photographer that could capture that darker ambiance without compromise, and Matt exceeded those expectations, and we couldn't be more thankful for his work. Not only is his work incredible, his pricing is more than reasonable, he is communicative and responsive (we really enjoyed his easy-going, down-to-earth personality), and he was such a pro rolling with the punches of the day and all the wedding changes we had because of COVID. Thanks, Matt! We are still flipping thru the photos, admiring your work, as I'm sure we will be for the years to come.

We are so lucky to have found Matt and have him photograph our wedding. The journalistic style is what drew us to him and the photos came out better than we ever could have imagined. They truly capture the day and tell the *whole* story of the day, from beginning to end. I've had several people remark that even the "boring" group family photos look great, a true testament to the quality of his work. Matt is laid back and easy to work with and we also used him for our engagement and bridal photoshoots.
