perfect day and the photos to go along with that. In the days leading up to the wedding, we went through the shot list extensively and he made sure we had on every single shot we wanted. He gave us advice for what to do day of and talked us off a couple ledges. With his expertise and our vision we were able to fly through photos and still have the best time. We were paired with Maria as our photographer for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. Maria was incredible and easy to work with. We shared our engagement ideas with her and she scouted the location for the best time of day. She always made sure she had the perfect shot and that we would have the most beautiful image in the end. Her photos are unique and spectacular. Being able to work with her before the wedding day helped so much. We learned how she worked and she found our best angles. For both our engagement shoot and wedding day shoot, she helped me deal with my fear of heights to get the perfect sunset photos and I am forever grateful for that. Alicia, the second shooter at our wedding, was a fantastic member to the team. She captured beautiful images and kept the shot list in order, making sure all members were in those always fun family photos. The entire team at MiBelle is wonderful, professional, kind, and made us feel like we were their most important client. That is something that really meant the most to us. We look forward to working with them again.

Ultimately, we chose the package that included Josh (one of the owners) for our engagement session, and he brought an assistant for our wedding day (Nick) who was above our expectations. It’s tough to sum up how thankful we are in a short(ish) review, but the entire experience working with MiBelle from start to finish was a dream and we were so happy we decided to add on the engagement photo session to have the opportunity to meet Josh before our wedding and understand how he works. He is a pro - I (wife) was so nervous about looking awkward and/or posing weird but Josh creates a seamless experience directing along the way and capturing those amazing candids as well. He was an absolute trooper as we scheduled the engagement session on an insanely windy day in Palm Springs (although I’m sure he’s used to it), and worked with the wind to give us an unbelievable set of photos. 

As we approached our wedding day Josh sat on the phone with us as we meticulously curated the photo list. Again he was patient, reassuring and gave us confidence going in to the wedding day. On the actual day, he was prompt, professional, brought an outstanding assistant (Nick, mentioned above), and went to work delivering what he promised. We were never rushed, it was a natural, intimate experience that I felt really lucky to have found in a photographer. We were expecting great photos because we had already seen the quality of the engagement shoot, but were in awe and shock of the amount of detail and personality Josh and Nick captured on our day. They delivered the digital album well within the time frame we were promised and we are confident that MiBelle was worth every penny. 

If you’re trying to save money I would strongly recommend trying to budget elsewhere because the photos are what you will take with you and share with friends and family. I had heard horror stories of photos being lost, overblown shots, and unprofessional service and it’s just not worth it on your day. MiBelle are absolute photography pros and we are so pleased that they went above and beyond our expectations. THANK YOU JOSH AND NICK!!!

e Me Pretty” type wedding photos without the interruption or constant posing on the day, and I wasn’t sure if it was possible, but Josh and his team achieved it! My husband and I both don’t like spending our time posing for photos and wanted mostly fun candid shots. I wasn’t sure if I would find a photographer who would understand me, but I did! The results were incredible. We never expected to find so many amazing photos spanning every aspect of our wedding. Josh was considerate of our wishes and concerns throughout the process. He told me every person has something they are self-conscious about whether others see it or not. My husband was very anti-photography out of both a general dislike for posing and a desire to spend our day experiencing our wedding with friends and family rather than simply taking some evidentiary photos. That was his big concern, and Josh was so understanding about that and helped us find the happy medium. He was so kind and worked with me for hours to help me prioritize the shot list. He made my husband feel comfortable without pressing past his time limits. He was even able to get my divorced in-laws to be in a group photo together without putting them in a tough spot by asking them in front of a large crowd or anything similarly awkward. He was just so calm and lighthearted and he made it fun and meaningful. I will never forget how amazing our first look was and how special our family photo time was. You made our dreams come true, and believe it or not, my husband said - “Josh was right. We should have done more photos!”

Additionally, Josh was professional, fun to work with, and went above and beyond for us. We were also very pleased with the quick turn-around time and felt that Mi Belle’s pricing was very reasonable considering the high quality of their work. Most importantly, Josh and his team did an amazing job capturing the essence of our wedding and the beautiful Santa Barbara backdrop. I highly recommend Mi Belle!

and professional and answered all of our questions. She had many examples and albums for us to look at and really put us at ease. There was plenty of communication leading up to our wedding and we always felt like we were in good hands. We really felt like Michelle understood our wants and needs. She had no problem adapting to our untraditional wedding program. The "getting ready" session was wonderful. She was so fun and genuinely excited for us. She was also a terrific director so we got amazing posed shots as well as candids and action shots. She had a knack for telling us just what to do or where to look-- but she also was able to capture spontaneous moments and really go with the flow. The posed shots with family went off without a hitch and she and her assistant swiftly went through the whole big list of all the shots we needed. Then we moved on to the fun stuff-- the cocktail hour, the toasts, the dinner, the dancing... and I have to tell you I know Michelle was around and taking pictures, but I barely remember her. She flitted around the background, perfectly unobtrusive while still beautifully capturing every single moment. She was obviously incredibly familiar with our venue and knew just the spots to get unforgettable images. Michelle whisked us away from dinner right at sunset and got a series of gorgeous and romantic photos, just the two of us, and did it in about 15 minutes flat. People barely knew we were gone. It was a blast. And then the proof really is in the images. We had almost a thousand pictures to choose from, both color and black and white, and they all looked amazing. She captured the beauty of our location, made us look great, captured the fun, the excitement, and the love, and didn't miss a single moment. Creating the album was fun and easy and Michelle and Josh offered different levels of involvement to help the process. They are willing to help you choose pictures to go in the album, or you can do it all yourself. The digital proof process was very easy. Josh answered a bunch of questions about color and lettering and gilding quickly and clearly. Mi Belle isn't the cheapest option out there, but it was worth every penny, and we're extremely glad we budgeted to make sure our photography was in the best hands. We ended up with a beautiful album and a flash drive filled with 900+ gorgeous images that we will have forever.

to the wedding he was very well organized and flexible with our requests. During the wedding he made everything happen so seamlessly and had us take some amazing shots that I would have never thought of! I can't wait to see the photos and album and would highly recommend him to anyone!

18 hole at any golf course. We were expecting photos that captured the beauty and essence of our wedding day and in my opinion all we got were photos that needed to be retouched anytime we want to print. Not only did we feel that the photos were deficient but Josh acted like a diva on our wedding day. When Josh arrived at the venue 15 minutes too early, he was told by the venue to come back in 15 minutes when all vendors would be allowed to enter. This annoyed Josh so much that he decided to call ME the BRIDE while I was on my way to the wedding to complain! Keep in mind we had given him the cell number of the day of event coordinator as well as a complete list of all vendors’ phone numbers, but that did not satisfy him. He was so inconsiderate and rude and needed to vent to the BRIDE on her wedding day. It is my opinion that Josh should have scouted the location before my wedding day to find good places to shoot so we were not in the bright sun or against a white wall. The bride and groom should be enjoying their wedding day and not have to think about lighting or background. We’re very grateful that my family and friends all took better photos with their iPhones so I have something to remember the beauty of my wedding day.
