Literally if you dont pick her for your wedding/engagements/bridals what are you doing???? She is so talented and so much fun!!! It really just felt like i had my own personal hype man follow me around and tell me how good i looked🤭 If i could go back and do this all over again i would pick Micahla every single time!!!!

Micahla was the only photographer we reached out to and from the second she responded we knew she was meant for us. Micahla was our photographer for engagement pictures and my bridals, and it was the best experience! She has the most gentle spirit, so the shoots were easy and fun. My now husband is fairly introverted, and he felt so comfortable around her right from the beginning! I had a few inspiration pictures for the vibe that I wanted. I showed her, and she made the dream come to life. My favorite thing about her images is the use of light and the way they convey warmth, joy, and timelessness.

The best, in my opinion! Micahla made this experience what it was. I cannot stand the stress that typical family photos shoots bring with all the coordinating outfits, making sure both girls’ hair is perfect as well as my own, and trying to get along. Let me just tell you Micahla made all the stress disappear!!! She actually made it fun and so enjoyable for our family. Her quality product is amazing! I truly admire her work!

Micahla has been a photographer I have followed her work for many years. As soon as I got engaged I knew she would shoot every event I hosted, including the biggest event thus far for me; my wedding. I reached out to her the day of to plan my wedding, she was so responsive. Micahla went above and beyond my expectations and this was just day one of reaching out. She planned a meeting with me AND my mother, she offered help with venue searching, gave me ideas based off of my Pinterest board that she looked at. She did her research on my social media platforms and gathered a very good detailed idea of my vision from my wedding day. She was the biggest help in picking a coordinator, a florist, and all around helping piece my big day together. Although in the end I did not end up getting to work with Micahla, she put in work for me in the very beginning stages. I will forever recommend her to each and every friend and family member. Micahla is local to our hometown in Louisiana but traveled to Georgetown for our wedding and travels in general! She was AMAZING. She gets your photos back to you in 10 business days which is just unheard of, and they are so so beautiful. She captured not only our portraits but also so many fun Candids that show our personalities so well! I’ll treasure the photos forever. She’s also great at communicating and SO KIND! Everyone wanted to be her best friend. She’s a pro, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! I also thought her prices were very reasonable compared to some of the other vendors I compared with!

My husband passed a couple of weeks before the wedding , we told her and not even once she brought him up, which was our choice, she was gentle with our immediate family and respectful of our grieving. The ceremony took place outside in 100 degree weather! She was able to make all of us look "fresh and not too hot" ALL THE PICTURES WERE BEAUTIFUL!

I wish I could give 100 stars. We absolutely LOVE Micahla. She shot our engagements in 2019, my bridals and our wedding in 2020, and just shot our newborns earlier this summer. Absolutely incredible from start to finish! Micahla took our engagement pictures, my bridals, and our wedding pictures. She is so easy to talk to and made taking pictures fun! She was so patient and did a great job at taking my bridals with two horses and two dogs. We had to reschedule by bridals due to weather and she made that so easy. She is also a PRO at buttoning up wedding dresses in record time! Not only are her pictures incredible and has the FASTEST turn around, she has a great personality and helped my wedding day be stress free. We will definitely be using her for more pictures in the future.

Micahla was lovely to work with on our wedding day. She was very organized and completely understood the vision that both my husband and I had for our photos. I love that Micahla reached out to me when we first had contacted her through our venue Sainte Terre. She made sure to take note of the most important moments that we wanted to be captured. Micahla was very organized in every aspect. She made a draft schedule that I received over a year before our wedding date and a finalized schedule that I received a month before. This made everything stress free for both me and my husband (and our wedding party/families). Micahla paid very close attention to the small details that we wanted captured and to the details that we included in our décor. The entire day was stress free and I did not have to think about what I wanted captured; Micahla took care of everything for us! She was very sweet, gentle, and patient with all the kids in our families and accommodated to their unpredictable movements and faces (Both of our families still talk about how great she was). Micahla was a team player for my husband and I after it had started raining after our ceremony; and I swear the pictures in the rain are the most romantic pictures I have ever seen! We received the photos within the 10-day deadline that Micahla has set. The photos are breathtaking, and we get so many complements about how great our photographer was. My husband and I are very appreciative of the memories that Micahla had captured, and we have talked about using her in the future for family pictures.

I LOVED working with Micahla. She was so encouraging and made me feel beautiful. She got my images to me very fast, and they were beautiful. She was very flexible with scheduling. The whole process was so much fun!

Micahla has continued to impress me from my bridal photos to my wedding day. It was supposed to rain on the day we had bridals scheduled, and Micahla already had rainy day ideas prepped along with a back up plan. She was even willing to move the time for me in order to get the best pictures possible. AND the pictures turned out INCREDIBLE. She captured all the perfect candid moments and made me feel 100% comfortable the whole time. On our wedding day, Micahla was so sweet & well prepared. She was punctual and patient with all of our families. And now looking at all of our photos, we are speechless. From the lighting to the flowers, to the tiny details on the tables, she captured it all. I have looked through our albums 20x over & am still in awe of this day and all the wonderful memories we have because of Micahla & her extraordinary talent.

Micahla Vaughn is an phenomenal photographer. You will not find anyone more professional and kind. She truly cares about your photo shoot or special event. I am still getting complements from my family and wedding party about how fun and sweet she was. She was never pushy and truly cared about what I wanted. She also was not just a photographer at my wedding, she helped keep the show running. If it wasn’t for her it would not have continued as smoothed as it did. All my photos from my engagements to my wedding day have been more than I imagined them being. My family and I will only use Micahla and will continue using her as our family grows.

The whole experience having Micahla as our photographer was amazing. I could not have gotten a better photographer. She is so sweet and down to earth but also very professional. The pictures for my wedding turned out absolutely perfect, and she made us all look at feel absolutely beautiful with her pictures. I could not be happier!

I don’t know if I can adequately express the value Micahla added to our planning and wedding day experience, but I’ll try to without hitting the character limit. Micahla photographed our wedding, engagement and my bridal photos. From our very first email I could tell she was going to be our photographer, this was before I had even talked to her on the phone or met her in person. Her kind personality just shines through the screen. I had a lot of anxiety about our engagement shoot matching what I had in my head and had lots of questions and a detailed shot list. Micahla was supportive and patient through it all and happily collaborated with me. Funnily enough, by the time we got to the actual wedding day I didn’t have a shot list because I knew I could trust her to capture the day better than the ideas I had in my head — she did not disappoint. I should probably mention that Micahla primarily photographs and lives in Louisiana and my husband and I live in Texas. But it was so worth it and a small price to pay for her travel to our hometown in Dallas and then Dripping Springs for our wedding. Normally, I’m very aware of the camera and end up with some very unnatural photos because of it. But from our engagement shoot forward, I felt like I could be myself so the photos feel candid and not posed. The wedding day was oddly calm and stress free. Both my husband and I attribute a lot of that to Micahla being there. The moment she arrived I could tell I felt more at ease. I echo the things other couples have said about her fast turnaround time, light and airy style and so on. That being said, I feel the event that best explains what a joy it is to work with Micahla is when we were shooting my bridals. We were in a converted warehouse studio accompanied by my two cats, Luna and Leon. We were only about halfway through the shoot when Leon made a puddle of pee right in the center of the train of my dress. The whole scene was just plain comical, Micahla and looked at each other with a mix of shock and irony trying to figure out what to do next. Being who she is, she quickly turned a less than ideal situation in to something fun. Not to be bummed out by a little cat pee, we decided to keep shooting — after all that’s what Photoshop is for, right? The rest of the shoot went on without issue. Although we couldn’t stop laughing as I spun around in my dress wafting the smell of cat pee around the room and giggling about how care free we were about the whole situation. All that mattered in the end was that my cats were okay and we had a good time. The spot came out without issue before the big day and those photos with my cats are possibly some of my favorite photos much to my husband’s chagrin. (Don’t feel to bad for him though, he knew he was marrying a cat lady.) Lastly, I think I can speak for both of us when I say we feel incredibly blessed to have had Micahla as our photographer and wouldn't have it any other way. I personally feel like I’ve gained a lifelong friend and she’s the one I will always go to for all my future big life events.

We couldn’t have had a better experience working with Micahla! She is professional, kind, dependable, caring and so talented!!! She took extra time and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! She met us in Dallas even though her daughter wasn’t feeling well! Before our trip she gave advice on outfits and scenery and took the PERFECT set of engagement pictures! We couldn’t be happier! She’s amazing on every level!! Her photos are light and airy- not overly edited which I LOVE! She works quickly without making you feel rushed. She also gets your photos back to you very quickly compared to other photographers I’ve seen.
