I recently got married on 1/19/19 at the Kapok in Clearwater. I can't begin to express my gratitude to Michael Anthony productions for helping me accomplish my dream winter wonderland wedding. I left him in total control of the lighting to give that winter feel and was just in awe when I walked in and saw it all. Michael, Frank, and his entire team that were there were all so wonderful, so professional, and so much fun!!!! the music was absolutely everything and the main thing I was looking forward to so I could let lose, lol. Frank with the videography is so experienced, gave amazing ideas that i wouldn't have thought of. He's so humble and truly wanting to capturing the entire day which i love. I keep reliving my wedding day over and over and could not have imagined it without them all making it so spectacular!!!!!

Other than my surprise seaplane landing, DJ Michael Anthony was all the talk of our wedding. What I appreciated most about him, is that he diverted from my script when the crowd started to thin from the dance floor. He was supposed to play the slows at the end of the evening, but who would have thought a slow song was what people needed to get them on the dance floor early on. This is why he does what he does and I’m not a DJ ;) He kept people on the dance floor all night, and even joined me in rapping Ice Ice Baby to the crowd. No other DJ will keep the party rocking all night like Michael Anthony can. Thank you Michael for the beautiful wedding gift of being simply awesome!

DJ Mike was phenomenal from day one. Our initial phone consultation made my husband and I feel like we'd known Mike for years!! Leading up to our wedding day, mike provided a very detailed online site that allowed us to upload every song we wanted him to play (in addition to listing songs we'd prefer him not to play). A few months prior to our wedding, he drove down to meet us for a venue walk through. He wanted to ensure everything went 100% right on our big day. On our wedding day, Mike showed up early, greeted us with hugs and was ready to go! He timed the ceremony music perfectly. Guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, reception and dancing music. Mike was able to read the dancefloor the entire evening, playing the perfect songs for all age groups. He even got those few guests I didn't think would dance up on their feet!!! Hands down one of our favorite vendors...and we had a ton of vendors!! DJ Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were very appreciative of the quick responses leading up to the wedding. We met him a few months before the wedding and really trusted him. The day of, I didn't really see him until the time of the ceremony, but I had full confidence that everything was set up and ready to go. Michael did such an awesome job being the DJ at our wedding, and also with the uplighting. We got so many compliments at the music choices he played for the reception that kept everyone out on the dance floor dancing! He also was very accommodating to our wedding day schedule and made sure I had no stress during the wedding day. We also had live music for our ceremony on our wedding day which was recommended by DJ Mike and they were absolutely amazing as well. DJ Mike will not disappoint you! I will start by saying that if you're looking for a DJ, look no further because DJ Mike is absolutely amazing! From the first point of contact to saying goodbye at the wedding Mike was perfect. He was helpful, had amazing suggestions, he was quick to respond to anything we needed, and made our whole experience with him one that we won't forget. I have to mention his website too because it is fantastic. After you book him you get a client login where you can customize every aspect of your wedding so he is prepared and ready for your day. The whole site is very user-friendly and honestly kind of fun to play around with. He met with us at our venue two weeks before and my husband and I were so excited to see that he was excited. It is such a comforting feeling to have someone step in and know exactly what they are doing and Mike did just that. On the day of, he was prompt and had set up completed in no time. The ceremony music that I requested he play was beautiful, and he knows exactly when to fade out of a song. Though my husband and I were taking pictures through most of cocktail hour, I could hear the music he was playing for it and I couldn't have been happier. We discussed what type to play and he absolutely nailed it. I had several songs on our "must-play" list and our "play if possible" list and from those requests he was able to totally figure out our style of music and played all of the right things. Our guests were so happy with the music barely anyone left the dance floor! Mike knows exactly how to read a crowd and play what they want to hear, which made my husband and I so happy because we wanted everyone to have a great time. Everyone said he was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard! There is so much more I could say but I will leave it with this, Mike you were absolutely amazing and we couldn't be more thankful for everything you did for us on our day. You made it special and really helped round out everything that we had hoped for our wedding. Thank you!

I used Michael Anthony Productions for my uplighting and Mike was AMAZING. First of all, Mike is the nicest guy! He met us at our venue at our convenience (even though it was an hour away from his house) so we could get the exact right shade of blush - he has a great eye, and can literally create any color for you. Such high quality lights. He even created a custom monogram for us using the symbol and font that I wanted. I did not have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. Everything looked BEAUTIFUL. It was truly perfect. I would choose him over and over again.

Mike was amazing and delivered on everything we asked. From using cello covers for our cocktail hour, to keeping our dance floor packed with people dancing, to using our monogram we designed! He is definitely everything you would want from a dj and more! He even met with us for a walk through at our venue, when he had two other events that day. Thanks DJ Mike!

My husband and I got married about a month ago at the Dali museum and DJ Mike provided the DJ services both for or ceremony and reception. I felt like Mike really understood with only one simple phone call exactly what I envisioned for my wedding! He played nice and classy jazz type music during the dinner portion of the reception and chose exactly the style I described and then transitioned seamlessly to more party/dance music for the later portion. It was the perfect blend. We had our ceremony on the staircase which is part of a very large three story room and the ceremony music was perfect! I was nervous about this part as it seemed difficult to make the songs sound good in this type of room but everything sounded wonderful! Highly recommend Mike for your events!

Michael was incredible! He did the music for my daughter's wedding and I highly recommend him! The live piano background music in the chapel was beautiful. He kept the guests dancing all night at the reception! Music makes the partyabd he did an awesome job!!

He was able to provide excellent lighting for two events at our wedding and was even able to accommodate last minute requests. DJ Mike was honestly beyond perfect from start to finish. His uplighting looked so beautiful and made my entire wedding look so expensive and classy. My Hubby and I were looking back and realized that he was the one vendor we had that we ENJOYED meeting with and getting emails from. He was so calm and professional and excited to be our DJ, it made us feel very at ease and honored. I have to say Mike 100% made our wedding as magical as it was. He did exactly what we asked and played every song we requested. His equipment sounds oustanding and he kept everyone dancing so hard my bridesmaids had to run to CVS to get band aids for their blisters. His wesbite is so easy to use and his music choices were excellently beat blended. He never played anything too loud. All our guests were dancing, even 86 yr old grandma. If this paragraph isn't enough, please read below some of my favorite parts. The ceremony - The ceremony was in a tiny little garden next to a busy street. I could hear the music so loud and clear and I love how you blended the songs and even turned it up right before I walked out. Your speakers were so clear I heard the exact part to walk out to and I cried the second I heard Canon in D start playing. Everyone was crying. They said the sound and garden combination enveloped them in the experience. The cocktail hour - I could hear from the picture taking sessions some awesome islandy upbeat songs playing and everyone looked like they were having so much fun. The reception - I cannot even express how beautiful your lighting was. I LOVED the hints of red on our monogram as you changed to the violet color too. The peachy blush was perfect and it looked like a masterpiece , never overly colorful or tacky. You made our venue look so much better and even more luxurious and expensive. My photographer said she didn't even need flash in many of the photos because you lit the place so well. The music - oh my GOD the music. Every song you played I noticed it from my list, you blended all the beats and transitioned everything FLAWLESSLY. It was seriously the best sounding wedding reception I have ever witnessed. The dancing songs came on at the perfect time and seriously ( I know you saw too) everyone was dancing and having a great time. You did such an awesome job of picking the right song at the right time, all off the list I sent. The ones you added were perfect as well. I really can't tell you enough how great it was. Your announcements were perfect and helped everyone exit on time. Your work made the venue and entire evening so special and classy. From beginning to end, you have made this entire experience so enjoyable and easy. I will absolutely 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone I know who is having any kind of event. I want everyone to know how incredible he was and how special he made our evening. Your efforts were NOT overlooked, I promise.

Michael is the most professional DJ anyone will ever meet. His professionalism was way above our expectations. He accommodated every request we had. DJ Mike was very organized and helpful leading up to our big day. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time and even stayed a little longer than he had to! I didn't even need to request any song because he played them all!

I can't say enough about Dj Mike, he's an excellent Dj! He's very friendly, energetic,and well rounded. He's excellent with his response time, he's great at staying in contact with you and keeping you updated. You can definitely tell he knows what he's doing, all of my guests had absolutely no complaints about him. Because my husband and I were very busy, we really didn't get time to pick our music. We let Dj mike do most of it, which I'm so happy that we didn't pick because he did such a wonderful job!! His music is not overly blasting like some Dj's. He's has such a great personality, our guest really enjoyed the music and the fact he was having fun with the wedding and making it entertaining.  Our venue's employees even said that he was a great Dj. Prior to guest arriving at the wedding, he started playing music and the employees have never seen a Dj do that before. Usually the Dj just starts playing music when the wedding starts. His lighting package was fantastic! Prior to our wedding he came to the venue and showed us all the colors that he could do for lighting in the room, and how he can change the lighting for what was going on in different parts of the wedding/ reception. I would definitely recommend DJ Mike for any occasion that you would need a DJ for! If my family or friends ever need a DJ, I'm definitely going to encourage them to use him. If I personally ever need a DJ again, he will be the person I contact again.

Mike did an amazing job as DJ of our wedding. For starters, he was extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions leading up to the big day. His website was very easy to use and I loved that we could go through all of his songs, listen to samples, and make selections from there. It made that process so much easier on us. DJ Mike is outstanding! He loves what he does and wants you to have a wonderful experience too. Our event was in Orlando, but Mike lives in Tampa. We never met him until after we booked him. Just talking to him on the phone I knew he was energetic, loved being a DJ and would help throw an awesome party! I was absolutely right. Our 130 guests were dancing all night with a nice mix of fun, fast, slow, and in between. He played everything we asked and nothing we didn't want to hear. He followed the plan we created to a T and knew what was going on when and helped keep us on schedule. We didn't hire a wedding planner so I really appreciated DJ Mike's attention to detail and the schedule of events. We also booked him for his lighting services that really made the room pop!

I strongly recommend Michael Anthony Productions!! The uplighting was gorgeous and Dj Mike made the reception a party to remember! This Dj did everything I requested, even my last minute requests!! He also suprised my husband and I during our first dance by using a fog machine to put a 'cloud' around us and the pictures look amazing!! I am so happy I booked with him!

I had the pleasure to work with Michael for my wedding on 9/24/16. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He made sure everything ran smooth and was always available by email or phone if needed. The lighting was amazing and all my guests commented on how great the center pieces looked with the pin spot lights. The lighting really made the venue look beautiful! The only complaint I have is that he was booked the day of my wedding so I wasn't able to have him as my DJ.

DJ Mike was da real MVP.... but seriously. Lighting was perfect and added a whole new design to our ceremony room that had 0 natural lifght. Mike was so fun, every guest was dancing the entire night. He is absolutely THE BEST!!! I have done my research really well and contacted other vendors with high ratings but as soon as I talked to Michael over the phone I decided to work with him. He is so passionate about his job and he took my wedding as serious as I did. I talked to other DJs for a consultation and I knew they wanted the job but they were not excited about it at all. Michael was as excited as I was!!! He drove almost two hours to my venue and two hours back just to see it and to make sure he brings the best up-lights for us, he could just ask for venue pictures like other vendors did but he drove total of 4 hours to see the venue and talk to me about my music choices, and planning. I had an outdated venue and I was nervous about how it was going to look like and after the up-lights and the other lights for centerpieces (I think called bean lights) my venue looked like a scene from a fairytale!!! My guests were amazed, and someone said she got chills when she walked inside. I will be forever grateful for what Michael did with up-lighting. My ceremony was absolutely magical, and when it came to reception music I did not make it any easier for him because I wanted a mix playlist includes Top 20, 80s, Latin, Turkish and belly dancing songs!! I am not even kidding. He was able to entertain a crowd from 5-6 different cultures. We are Turkish, my husband's family are Italian and Puerto Rican, my guests were a mix of those three and also American and Albanian, and Indian. Everyone had a blast!!! We all danced until our feet hurt. I am a perfectionist and I would absolutely recommend Michael to everyone who want to have the best music and lighting on their wedding day. He was absolutely amazing, very professional, positive, excited, responsive, and passionate. I do not know if it gets any better than this. Thank you for everything you have done Mike!!!

Mike was truly amazing! He made sure that my day was special. When I had to Move things around on the fly he had no issues and accommodated it with ease. The transition from ceremony, cocktail hour, and into the reception was seamless. His playlist were perfect and he played the best songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. In addition, the lighting that he provided really brought my venue to the next level it was breath taking. He was very creative when it came to placing the lights and it brought out all the little touches that I worked so hard on. I would hire Mike again in a heartbeat.

Amazing service all around! He always emailed/called me back fast and helped us with every little detail! He came out to the venue a couple of months before the wedding to see the layout and to get to know us as a couple. He is all around a very talented, energetic and personable professional. On our wedding night he got the crowd involved, laughing and dancing the night away. I was looking for a DJ at a bridal show but was not ready to commit yet. After I read the reviews for a bunch in my area, I was especially interested in DJ Mike and decided to speak with him at the next bridal show. i talked to a couple other DJs and we're not too impressed, and when I found Mike's booth, he said he was already booked for that day and there was a second person on the list too. I added my information just in case they both canceled, and about a week later, he called to let me know he was available! I was very excited! He was great at communicating and makes you a profile for his website, which you can go in and update your wedding plan and layout, the playlist, and any special requests. The song selector was very helpful as it shows you the top songs in each category, whether by decade or type of dance. He is very energetic and fun, really helps to keep the party going! I definitely didn't want s dull DJ and Mike was anything but that! I would definitely recommend him to friends and I couldn't be happier with how the music turned out and how great DJ Mike was!!

Michael was great! I met him at a bridal show and he took time out of talking to many people to talk to only me. He set up my date right at the show. As time went by we communicated through e-mail and I provided him with music I wanted and didn't want. He drove to my venue and met with me. He went over the lighting options, monogram options, and music options with me. He really made me feel like he cared about out big day. On our wedding day he played just the right music at the right time! I was super stressed about other things so I gave him a few songs my husband and I liked and asked him to fill in from there. He did a great job and had the dance floor full all night long. Also, the uplighting was AMAZING! It totally transformed the room and added so much to the already great atmosphere! DJ Mike was the first DJ we met at a Bridal Expo and we knew we needed to look no further. He was incredibly flexible to arrange meeting times and locations, and he was our most responsive vendor throughout the planning process. We had a song request on our RSVP's from our guests and we merely provided him with a list of their songs, and he had them downloaded and ready to play at our reception. We used his online planning tool to create lists of must play songs and indicate special requests for introductions, first dances, etc. Mike executed everything we requested to a T on the night of our wedding and our dance floor was PACKED all night. His lighting made for some great party pictures and everyone commented on how beautiful the lighting and monograms were. The lighting is a must! Our parents were pleased with what an excellent, humble host he was and how in-tune he was to the mood of the crowd. At the end of the night, he played the last song, only to still have all of our remaining guests on the dance floor begin chanting "ONE MORE, ONE MORE!" He immediately cued another great dance song, sending everyone out on a high note. We loved working with Mike and would use him again in a heartbeat if we could do our wedding again. It was the best night of our lives and we have his humble, professional service to thank.

DJ Mike was super easy to work with! He met with us multiple times prior to the wedding and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He played everything we asked him to and did not play the songs we put on the Do Not Play list. He made our wedding very fun and kept everyone dancing until closing time. We really cannot say enough about Mike Richards. He is a true professional and the best DJ you could ever want. He doesn't just play random songs from his computer; he pumps energy through the entire reception. I first saw him at my cousin's wedding several years ago. Mike did a spectacular job at my wedding. My wedding crowd was a mix of all cultures from Korea (bride) to St. Kitts (groom) so he pulled off a range of music from Asian folk songs for my traditional Asian ceremony, a 3 song mix for the first dance, soca, calypso, old school, dance, to the bride's special Korean Hip Hop favorite (it was just 1 song!) He was able to provide great music as well as beautiful uplighting and sound. I didn't have to worry about anything from our very first meeting with him. He stayed in touch, was always available, and handled everything in the most professional and coolest manner come the big day. We had a blast! We had the great pleasure of Mike being the DJ at our wedding. He was a key element in our guests saying it had been one of the best weddings they had been to. Mike was helpful and extremely patient in the build up to the event and provided all the requests we had asked for. He has great energy and enthusiasm and is genuinely friendly. He had the dancefloor packed the whole time and if one song wasn't doing it, he immediately fixed that with a floor filler. Mike Richards from Michael Anthony Productions was hands-down the best money spent on our wedding. He was always very available either by email or phone to answer any questions that I had going through the planning process. He was accomodating and played all the songs that we requested while being an AWESOME MC and getting all of our guests out on the dance floor. Also his uplighting package is phenomenal and made our venue look breathtaking. People are still talking about how great of a DJ he was 5 months after our wedding day! All I have to say is wow, Michael Anthony productions absolutely blew my mind. He was such a wonderful person to work with. He was beyond professional and kind, and exceeded my expectations, he deserves way more than five stars. And I wasn't always that greatest with getting back to him about things, and he still managed to make everything work. He did uplighting for my venue and it was astounding, my venue was already breathtaking he he made it look even greater (it really makes a difference!, definitely get that package!) he even had mine and my husbands names on the floor entrance way. I have gotten a lot of compliments about him, he plays appropriate music (which I am Christian so this was very important) he also plays games to get the guests going, just an all around fun Dj. I mean this sincerely it's really overwhelming to look for vendors, and the Dj is probably one of the most important things about a wedding (in my personal opinion) so Michael Anthony productions is definitely the Dj you should go with.

Mike from Michael Anthony Productions was everything my wife and I wanted for our entertainment at our wedding. My wife took care of all planning for our wedding except the entertainment, which she left that up to me. After a consultation with Mike, we knew he was the right choice. Mike was very personable and well organized. Truly a great vendor to work with. He knew well in advance what our vision was for our wedding and he brought that vision to life. I have attended a few weddings at our venue and I must say that I never saw it look so beautiful. This was due to the up-lighting and accent lighting that Mike had throughout the room. This is now the fourth wedding where my family has utilized Mike as our DJ. There is a reason for that, and that is because Mike is an exceptionally outstanding DJ. If you want a DJ who is going to have your wedding guests out on the floor dancing while he not only DJS but MC's, Mike is the one for you. He doesn't just play the songs you picked from his computer (typical DJs) He plays the songs you want but is not afraid to jump up on a speaker with the props he provides to get the party jumping and dancing till the end of your special day. I was the bride and I know every brides biggest fear is to not have people dancing at your wedding. You will never need to worry with Mike. I didn't even do my bouquet toss, because I didn't want to pull anyone off the dance floor and take away from the awesome time they were having! I just had my wedding on May 17th at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay and I could not wait to share my experience with Michael. He did all the up lighting for my event and I wish there was something higher than 5 stars to give him because he went above and beyond to make sure my wedding venue looked flawless. I had a winter wonderland theme with blue up lighting and not spot on the wall was left when Michael got done. It was absolutely perfect, I walked into my ballroom and was taken away! He is also going to do my sister's wedding from how amazed she was at his work. My advice to anyone is if you are even considering anyone else, you need to contact michael and get the job done right. We met him at a wedding expo and here's why my husband and I were blown away by him. 1. He is extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. From the minute we met him we could tell what a great, genuine guy he was. 2. His prices are unbeatable. We actually were going to do our up lighting with our floral designer but after looking at his prices and quality, we could not pass it up. 3. He is so professional, he responds quickly to emails and phone calls and always keeps you up to date. We had two monograms as part of our package and they turned out amazing. He worked with me to get it right so quickly. 4. QUALITY. Not only is he great to work with and prices are amazing, his quality make it look like we paid thousands for our lighting. The ballroom was literally transformed into an ice blue palace. Bottom line, he is the vendor you won't regret. I am not someone who writes long reviews for anyone but I truly believe he deserves all the praise!
