He even went out of his way to get specialty beer hops incorporated for us as my husband and I met over craft beer and homebrewing. A family member accidentally took a vase home and he held no slight against us, making it easy to return. The only thing I wish was different was that the 4 corsages were not like we discussed, they were pretty but seemed more prom than modern and they browned by the ceremony. All said and done I’m happy he was our florist and would recommend him to anyone.

t before the reception started. The moms had to take their corsages off because they could not be worn. Lastly, our centerpieces were set up incorrectly. Our contract clearly stated the greenery was supposed to be in rings around the candles, however, they were set up woven through the candles instead. When I emailed Michael after my wedding bringing forward my concerns, I was brushed off saying I signed a contract (which he didn't follow) and that was that. I emailed him again stating he violated his own contract and NO RESPONSE after multiple attempts. Michael clearly only cares about getting his money and not his customer satisfaction.

I had some ideas of what I wanted - but also was very open minded with my flowers and centerpieces - but when the day came - my heart stopped when I saw my bouquet - it was everything and more than I could've ever imagined. It was stunning - along with everything else that Michael B. Anthony provided - bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and other essential flowers. Not only are they talented and experience, but they provide amazing service and support along the way with very reasonable prices. For any bride reading this, if you are considering Michael B. Anthony - you will NOT be disappointed. Absolutely amazing - I will be recommending to everyone :)

initial plan was not working and Michael B. worked very closely with my mom to completely start over and knocked it out of the park! The day of setting up he was prompt, efficient and willing to make adjustments. He and his team were incredibly kind and gracious with their time as well and really helped us pull together a BEAUTIFUL day tearing down and resetting up the pergola they created in our reception hall as well. Michael B. is incredibly knowledgeable, creative and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend him and his team to all future weddings!

He helped with us with set up, delivery and was an incredible support system throughout the planning and when I had questions. I have never seen such a large bouquet for a wedding, and it was mine! ichael after reading many of his stellar reviews and knew that he was the recipient of several awards for his work. For these reasons we made an appointment to discuss our wedding plans and what we were looking for. During that initial consultation we found Michael to be professional and we were impressed by the work examples he shared with us. After this first meeting we thought we were in good hands, but it turns out that was not the case. On the day of our wedding we were incredibly disappointed with what was presented to us. Our boutonnieres were not at all what we had specifically asked for, and the poor excuses he provided instead broke before we even began our ceremony. As a result, none of our wedding photos (which we spent a great deal of money on) include what we hoped would be an important part of our wedding attire. In addition to the mistake made with the boutonnieres, we felt the other flowers and arrangements were way below the level of work shown to us in his previous work examples. The corsages worn by both our mothers were brown within a few hours, despite being kept cool as soon as they were presented to us. The table decorations were simply a few roses in a glass vase and were something that could have been created by an amateur, and the arrangements that were created for our outdoor wedding ceremony paled in comparison to what we were shown during our initial consultation. In addition to being incredibly disappointed and upset by what was presented to us, we, and several of our guests were also uncomfortable by the fact a member of his team showed up to our wedding ceremony wearing a "Blue Lives Matter" t shirt. We did our best to not let the unprofessional work of one vendor spoil our wedding day, and waited a few weeks until after our wedding to share our concerns with Michael before posting any reviews publicly. Sadly, Michael's response and attitude were equally as poor as his product. While Michael did accept fault for completely ignoring our request for a specific type of boutonniere and agreed to refund the cost of these, his response to our other criticisms was at best unprofessional and at worst, frankly rude. When we explained that we felt the level of service we received was not equal to the examples he had previously shown us, his response was simply that "that would cost more money." However, in our initial consultation we never discussed our budget; we told him what we wanted, he showed us examples, and gave us a quote that we agreed to. Michael refused to accept any additional responsibility for his poor level of work or provide anything resembling a reasonable apology, and while we tried to continue to communicate with him in a professional and mature way, he responded by blocking my husband and I from his social media accounts. To this day we are still unsure why such a highly reviewed and award winning florist would provide such disappointing service. We know that he was also planning his own wedding around the same time of ours, so we can only assume he put his own needs before those of his paying customers. If this lengthy review has not made it clear enough, we strongly suggest that other couples do NOT hire Michael B. Anthony.

Michael very kindly arranged to flowers to be a part of the ceremony, and it was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and a more perfect and professional florist! Book him and his team ASAP!
