Michael was amazing to work with! He produced very high quality videos of our wedding, and also worked extremely well with our photographer. He was able to incorporate our song choices into the videos and created several pieces at different lengths that showcased different aspects of the wedding. Highly recommend!

Mike was recommended to me by a friend and he did not disappoint! He responded to my emails right away and was right on time. He worked seamlessly with my photographer and captured our wedding day beautifully! He got us our wedding videos super fast and they are wonderful! They captured every part of our big day! Mike even stayed an extra hour and a half to make sure he didn't miss anything! After our wedding he worked with us to make edits and compile the perfect wedding video and highlight video! He will make any edit or change you ask and was super flexible when it came to the perfect video! My wife and I found Brazda Films after reviewing several options based on reputation and rating in the DMV area for our wedding in October 2019. The company was initially prompt in their response and was able to meet with us over the phone prior to our wedding to discuss logistics and questions. Fast forward to our wedding, and without prior advance notice, the backup videographer (who was cited in the contract) from a different production company in DC is instead the one shooting our ceremony/wedding. Filming goes off with only minor lighting issues. It’s December 2019, and Brazda Films has failed to meet the initial delivery date for our digital highlights proof in the contract. After contacting them, they state that it’s only 7-10 days more that they need to prep it all. My wife and I continue to wait, which stretches into January 2020 (six weeks past the contract date). We contact the company again; this time, they say the backup videographer who was present at the wedding has all our footage, and to contact him directly. We make multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the other production company for our footage. It’s mid-January 2020, with no video in hand. Multiple messages to Brazda Films yield incoherent responses that all point to a breakdown between the company and the backup videographer...with our footage being held hostage as collateral. The company suggests we initiate Small Claims Court proceedings to compel the other company that has our footage to produce it. However, we find out with the help of the local courthouse that this route wouldn’t obtain our footage – it would only ensure that financially we’d be made whole. Infuriated, we communicate to Brazda Films (roughly three months post-wedding) that we will threaten Civil Action to resolve this. The company agrees to be a party named in the suit, and pledges in writing they will edit and compile everything once produced. This, unfortunately, is not the end of our problems. It’s late February 2020. Through back and forth communication with the production company holding our footage, we conclusively determine that there was, in fact, a business dispute with our video a hostage between the two companies. We communicate to Brazda Films that we wish to be reimbursed payment in full, and give them 5 business days to comply. Their response, in turn, is that they need more time (2-3 weeks to be exact) and will only refund us if we don’t write a bad review in the process. Through continued written exchanges, we agree to a reimbursement schedule to be completed by mid-March 2020. Brazda Films agrees, but in the process sends more messages with the goal of trying to convince us to not leave a review of this experience. Mid-March 2020 comes, and now citing the pandemic (which is irrelevant in our dispute), the company says it cannot refund us. We then initiate clawback proceedings through PayPal, who were accommodating and successful in recouping some, but not all, of our money. We shift our attention from Brazda Films to the other company, who claims to have our footage. These negotiations start in April 2020, and stretch to an impasse as the year goes on, with that company being nontransparent. During this process, we have no insight into the content of our footage – only the length, which is less than the minimum cited in our contract. In December 2020, we end our pursuit of our video, never having received a single second of footage.

My fiance and I had Michael video our wedding in October and he was awesome! He was very professional, prompt, courteous, and friendly. From our initial emails, to the day of the wedding, we felt like we were his only client. On the day of the wedding, we didn't even notice he was there (which is a sign of a good videographer), yet somehow he still got all the footage we wanted! He showed up on time, and was even willing to stay a bit later than scheduled in order to get all of the shots we wanted. We thought his pricing was very fair. Do not hesitate to use Michael for your event!

PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT (and at a phenomenal price). That is the only way to describe our experience with Michael Brazda. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Michael, his professionalism, the quality of his work product, and how far your dollar goes with him. We were married April 13, 2019 in Annapolis, MD. We initially did not plan to hire a wedding videographer because of price and because we’ve all seen friends’ wedding videos where it looks like their Uncle Jack filmed the wedding with a 1980s’ handheld camcorder (that was my fear). We extensively research “budget-friendly” videographers. In all honesty, our top choice was unfortunately unavailable for our wedding. While Michael was our second choice (though almost first), it should have never been a question he was our guy. First, just go to his website and look at the amount of work product and time you receive for the pricing. Seriously, you cannot beat Michael’s pricing! Trust us, we did our homework. The selected videos on Michael’s website do not do his work justice. We believe our three videos from Michael are far superior to others in his price range. We reached out to Michael only twice before the wedding after signing the contract, he was very responsive prior to signing the contract and remained so thereafter. During one conversation with Michael he described himself as providing a “Toyota” product at a “Toyota” price. I believe that is incorrect: Michael provided us a “Cadillac” treatment at a 1995 “Honda Civic” price. We especially feel that way after obtaining pricing from our friend’s wedding videographer who was amazing and had amazing sample videos on his website, but wanted over $3,500 just to provide us ultimately with a 3-5 minute video and the original footage from the night. The day of the wedding Michael was prompt and “Johnny on the Spot” with videoing. Some reviews comment that Michael may be too close and uses a light, which is likely why Michael asked before the wedding how “interactive” we wanted him to be. Looking back at out videos we have said numerous times we cannot believe Michael got some of the video he did because we do not recall his presence during much of the day. We received no complaints about Michael being too close, using a light, etc. Michael did do some impromptu requests for “say something to the camera.” Honestly, it caught us off guard, but if done at the right time it captures the moment. My only suggestion is maybe being aware of that beforehand and going into your day, but that is likely something every videographer does and can easily be edited out of the videos. It certainly was not a negative aspect of our experience, but just something to be made aware of. We received out videos less than TWO WEEKS after our wedding. That alone is amazing to us. The videos were so well edited, it is clear how much time Michael put into the editing process. We received exactly what we hoped for, and video that we will watch for the rest of our lives. Michael captures every moment perfectly and we cannot express enough how satisfied we are with his work. Because we know how difficult this process is to navigate for wedding couples, and because of how satisfied we are with our choice of Michael as our videographer, we are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding working with Michael. We were very happy with our videos from Michael Brazda! He listened to our desires from the beginning, was discreet at the wedding and managed to still get amazing footage and promptly compiled the videos after the fact. He worked with us on the music we wanted, made edits as requested and clearly knew what he was doing.

Michael did a great job with our wedding video! He really captured every part of our wedding day and so many small details which we were really happy about. He showed up on time the day of the wedding and was very easy to communicate with leading up to it. He was also very reasonable compared to other videographers that we looked at. It did take him about 12.5 weeks for us to get the final copy of everything and I did need to send him a few emails to follow up but he was in constant communication the whole time and explained that he was very busy. He also made sure we were happy with all of the edits before he sent us the final copy. We were very happy with his work and I would definitely recommend him for your upcoming wedding!

Michael is seriously the best! Many other videographers charge you thousands of dollars for only a short 20 minute highlight video. It didn't seem worth it, but then I came across Michael. He was prompt in answering my questions, and then gave me a custom package which resulted in an hour of wedding day highlights AND the full ceremony on separate files. I was so happy we were able to work with him - it was like finding a gem among the rocks.

What can I say except I was beyond happy with Michael as my videographer! He arrived on time as scheduled and he began working immediately. One of the best things was that he blended in well. He wasn't in the way of anything and he got all of the best shots. One moment that he got was of myself and my sisters dancing. Michael did a great job with our wedding videos! Some family members that were unable to attend felt like they had a front row seat after watching Michael’s expertly captured and edited videos. He produced an edited full length video and then a highlights video plus a music video. We had a number of edits we wanted and Michael was very patient and accommodating of all our requests. He even allowed us to look through raw footage to find a couple moments we were specifically looking for. He was at our wedding with plenty of time to spare and rigged up the groom with a wireless mic that worked perfectly (no pops/interference). The Blu Ray’s and DVDs we received were also well done with a wedding-appropriate label and nice title printed on the label. A nice touch at the end of the process.

Michael has been great to work with. He takes the time to understand what you want to achieve and is very accommodating, not to mention, affordable.

I met Michael while I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding. I was so impressed with her video, I contacted him quickly when I became engaged myself. Michael was so great! He captured all of the important moments, like my husband's grandmother dancing (she usually can't even walk without a cane) so this was an amazing moment for us to have on video. I've already watched the full length video a couple times and love that I can relive the best day of my life whenever I want to! Loved seeing my guests having fun and all the moments that I shared with my groom. One of the shots I really wanted to have was me walking down the aisle with my father, but the church where we got married was strict with where the photographers/videographers could be. Michael called the church ahead of time and made an agreement with them of where he could stand to get the perfect shot. Forever grateful to have the opportunity to relive this day again and again!

Michael's videography is absolute perfection. His prices are very reasonable and the final product is amazing! He was very professional to work with and our highlight reel is wonderful. He managed to capture the tiniest details and all the important events - we have already received lots of compliments on the video. Plus, he gave us the video only 1 week after the wedding! Michael's company was great, he was easy to work with and responsive to e-mails. The most important part, to me, was his question of whether I preferred a videographer that was very visible or not. We preferred our videographer to be less visible. I hardly noticed him during the night and we still had amazing video! The full video arrived within about 6 weeks following our wedding date. Everyone cried upon seeing the video, it really captured the feeling of the night. I'm very pleased with my experience.

When looking for a videographer for my daughter's wedding we asked friends and also looked at the usual wedding websites. The rates for videographers are all over the place so we couldn’t use the rates as a determining factor for our decision. We then asked the wedding photographer for advice. She said that something very important for a photographer was that the videographer not interfere with her work: there are moments that the photographer has only one shot at and some videographers might actually interfere and get in front of her camera. The photographer mentioned a couple of names, Michael Brazda being one of them. The fact that Michael’s rates were very reasonable and the sample videos posted on his website were very nice, made us decide to go with him. We contracted him for the 8 hour package and from the beginning Michael was very responsive. We communicated several days before the wedding to go over the final details and timeline and decided to upgrade to the 10 hour coverage to have him cover the send-off. I know he was there because I have seen the long video (two hours) of the wedding from which the shorter highlight videos will be made. But he was totally unobtrusive to the point that my daughter said she never noticed him filming and was amazed that he had captured every moment, every dance, every significant detail! He is excellent! My husband said after watching the video “if there was ever any doubt about whether to hire a videographer, this video convinced me that we absolutely did the right thing”. The video is very high quality and the content is exactly what you want to keep in your memory...forever. A videographer allows you to relive the wedding day in a way that nothing else does. It is the gift that keeps on giving...Everybody who has seen the video had the same reaction: they are in awe, emotional, and have nothing but compliments for Michael! I totally and wholeheartedly recommend Michael Brazda to capture on film such an important event in your life. I am happy and lucky to have had my daughter’s wedding day filmed by Michael Brazda.

I am so happy I listened to my coworker when she said, "You have to get a videographer! Pictures just aren't the same as a video!" He was very receptive to giving us what we wanted, which was a lot of footage of the night's events rather than a heavily edited highlights video. He was able to capture a ton of what happened during the day, and we have really enjoyed being able to relive it. His price was very reasonable as well, compared to other videographers.

We initially weren't going to have a videographer for our wedding as we were more invested in our photos, and were just going to have a family member film our vows and the speeches. We were also flabbergasted at the prices of some of the places we researched online. As the day drew nearer though we were starting to realize how much we wanted to have our ceremony filmed and didn't want our family to worry about filming it. We searched for videographers again and came across Michael Brazda. We immediately felt more comfortable with his pricing as we needed to budget our wedding. His sample videos were great online as well. My husband ended up meeting with him without me as we couldn't find a time to work for all of us and he felt very confident in hiring him. Michael didn't actually shoot our wedding though, one of his coworkers did. He did an excellent job though! He stayed out of the limelight throughout the day but got the video we wanted. I actually hardly saw him as he filmed. It took some time to get our initial proof of the video but I do think it came before our photos. Our video is amazing for the price! It is not a hollywood produced video and I'm sure if you pay 3x the price you might get something even more, but this is exactly what we wanted. We are able to watch our day with all of our vows and speeches to relive it whenever we want! We also love the shorter version to show our friends! I definitely recommend Michael for your wedding, unless you truly are looking for a more expensive end product.

I highly recommend Michael Brazda to anyone looking for a wedding videographer! My husband and I were not planning to have a videographer due to the high cost but decided a few months before the wedding that we really wanted a wedding video and we started to look for a more affordable company. We were not having any luck (everything was extremely expensive) until one of my coworkers sent an email out to a community group she belongs to asking for affordable videographers and Michael was recommended to her. I contacted Michael and looked at a few of the videos he had on his website and I could not believe the incredible costs of his packages for such high quality videos. His prices were much lower than other videographers I had researched and also offered a lot more (more coverage, more flexibility, longer videos, etc.). Michael was available so we booked him for our wedding date. Working with Michael before our wedding to go over things we were looking for in a videographer, venue regulations, etc. was super easy and on the day of our wedding Michael was great! He was fun to have around and half the time you did not even know he was filming. I have been to a lot of weddings where the videographer is really in your face and Michael was the complete opposite of that. When we saw the proof of our video after the wedding, we were amazed at how awesome the video was. Michael got everything we could have wanted on the video! He allowed me to make several edits to the video, choose songs I wanted played on the video, and add a few extra still images within the video. He was always willing to make one more edit here or there until we got the video exactly how I wanted it. My husband and I both feel that booking Michael as our videographer was one of the best wedding decisions we made. I would absolutely recommend Michael Brazda to anyone looking for a truly high quality wedding video at an affordable cost!

I originally did not think I was going to get a videographer for my wedding day due to budget. As the day got closer I worried I would regret this decision. I asked around to my married friends and received Michael Brazda's info. He came highly recommended from the bride who provided it. He was extremely responsive right away and had great options for video packages. His prices were reasonable and more affordable compared to some businesses I contacted earlier. I was able to take a look at his website to see the quality of his videos which was just as good, if not better than some of the more expensive companies I had contacted. I decided to sign a contract with Michael and it was smooth sailing from there. He contacted me the week of the wedding for final details, he arrived on time, and stayed out of the way. The footage he captures was awesome. He scanned the venue ground and had a mic that caught our vows and reception speeches. The let us pick the music in the highlight video and got back to us in a timely manner. I am so happy that he was recommended to us!

Relatively unobtrusive-- did not really know they were there.

He did nothing but irritate me from the night before the wedding until it was over. First he calls me at 4:30p the night before to ask questions I'd already answered, yeah we're at the rehearsal like every other couple getting married the next day... The biggest irritant was that after I asked him (multiple times) to fade into the background as much possible, he stands about 10 feet from us during the ceremony so he's in all my guests' pictures, and he shined this incredibly bright light on us throughout the reception and was always 5 feet away... this video better be awesome.... Update: We've received the video back (2 months late). I'm mostly happy with it. The guy missed half of my walk down the aisle so thats annoying, but the highlights video is pretty good. The full length video on the other hand is not that great. You can tell he was looking for 5-10 second clips and not capturing the night. It's very scattered and jumpy. There is no transition between each shot. I'd spend my $ elsewhere if I could do it over.

Since I have not received my video yet, I will rate the videographer. He did an excellent job, he followed my instructions and he did whatever it took to capture my memories. We purchased the all day package and I am glad we did. Don't be cheap on your memories, its all you will have once the whole evening is done! I truly think the finished product will be well worth the wait.

I used Michael at the suggestion of my wedding coordinator and I am so glad I did. Our wedding video was absolutely beautiful. Michael was easy to work with, professional and delivers an excellent product. We have watched out wedding video several times and each time we are simply blown away.

We had our wedding back in October 2011 and Michael was our videographer. We chose Michael after seeing some of his great work on his website. Although we haven't seen the final product yet (I'm sure he's working away to make it beautiful!!) I expect a wonderful film of the wedding. Michael captured every moment of the wedding day. He even filmed us getting ready and taking photos which will be great to see in the film. He is also very responsive to questions and worked with us for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a quality film of their wedding. He also includes highlights from the wedding using the couple favorite slow songs. I am so anxious to see the finished product!

I was recently married in August 2011 at the W Hotel in Washington DC. Swanky place and I knew I needed to capture the moments so to speak, but the selection process for a videographer is not the easiest given it is the Wild Wild West. Many recommend Blue Sky, or the photographer will have "someone" they recommend, etc, etc. I can't tell you how many 2 man shops with a HD camera I interviewed, but the work was downright not impressive. My friend's had a well priced option that I could of made on my own with awful editing and special effects. Needless to say I thought I would have to go the Blue Sky route which has a great product, great options, and a GREAT BIG price to go with it. Everything with the higher end places is a la carte and unless you are in the business, you don't really know what you must buy. Plus they all charge more for Blue Ray which is ridiculous these days. Then I met Brazda Films - they kept it simple - one price and you get whatever you want. Price is VERY resonable, affordable, and their editing work is fantastic. They made a highlights video that took the best 7-8 minutes, put it to a soundtrack, and had some fun visual effects to keep it energetic. Then you tell them how many Blue Rays and standard DVD's you want for the full length and they ship it out. No fuss no muss. Don't waste time with the $3-5k dollar places and give Micheal and Mark a ring at Brazda. Only issue with them is capacity since they are not a huge staff, but their work online speaks for itself.

Our DVDs are some of my most prized possessions. The final product is gorgeous, so professional, and so moving. He did a beautiful job of capturing our day. I highly recommend him.
