I cannot sing Michael's praises enough. He's beyond brilliant. He doesn't have a book where you pick a standard style, or anything like that-- you go in and meet with him, and he, based on your requests, taste, and personality, builds the PERFECT flowers. He decorated our chuppah SO beautifully, and built flower themes throughout the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, chuppah, and centerpieces, without overusing any type of flower or anything feeling at all boring. I wish I had another big event coming up just so I could have Michael decorate more flowers for me.

Michael came very highly recommended to us by four different people. His website was beautiful and the artistic quality of his work represented what we were looking for in a florist. Flowers were very important to our wedding, but we did not have a large budget to spend. We were nervous that we wouldn't be able to afford him, but upon speaking with his team, they made it clear that he is willing to work with any budget. We met with Michael, and he was very honest and up front with us throughout every step of the planning process. In the end he was able to maximize the value and deliver a beautiful arbor arrangement, two bridal bouquets, 10 bridesmaid bouquets that doubled as centerpieces, plus additional appointments to round out the wedding. Our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful our flowers were and that they complimented the setting of our venue. Basically, we cannot sing Michael's praises enough. He is amazing to work with, is a complete genius when it comes to artistic design, is clearly passionate about his work, and is willing to work with his clients. We could not have asked for a greater florist for our wedding.

Michael is a genius when it comes to arrangements, especially for weddings. I wanted something a little different for my bridal bouquet - solid blue/turquoise orchids. Michael not only made my cascade bouquet a reality but he made it more beautiful then I could have imagined. All of my bridesmaids had amazing flowers that had hints of blue/turquoise orchids and everything popped beautifully in my wedding photos. Every detail was thought of - even my mom's bouquet had a queen pin in it! From day one, Michael listened to our idea and came up with his vision of how to bring it to life. My bouquet was so incredible that I literally have my bridal bouquet frozen in my freezer because I can't bear to throw it out. He told us what would work and what wouldn't...just trust that he will do amazing work and he will!

Michael Bruce is hands down the best florist ever! My two college roommates used him and there was NO doubt in my mind that he would be my florist as well. He is amazing. He really listened to my input and the result was absolutely stunning. He is the BEST!!

Michael Bruce was the perfect florist for my wedding. The only thing I knew I wanted for my flowers was lots of color, and he took the request and ran with it. He had me come in a few days before the wedding to look at the bouquets, and let me give some feedback for finalizing them. If you're looking for someone to design really creative and gorgeous flower arrangements, there's no one else I'd recommend.

I used Michael Bruce as my florist for my wedding, and I cannot recommend him enough!! I am absolutely in love with him! (And his flowers were pretty good too!) In all seriousness, Michael is amazing. He walks you through the planning process, providing ideas that you never would have thought of, and he goes the extra mile (like showing you your bridal bouquet a few days before the wedding, and encouraging you to make modifications if you are not COMPLETELY in love with it). I would recommend him 100 times over, and do to any bride who asks me! Thanks for a great experience, Michael!!!

Michael Bruce and his staff are absolutely fantastic! Not only was everything beyond beautiful, we had a blast working together to create the perfect atmosphere. I looked forward to every meeting and am actually missing him now that the wedding is over... Michael is a creative genius who truly listens to what you are saying. He reads between the lines and creates absolute magic in a way that only he and his team can do. The flowers were stunning - truly exceeding my expectations, but it is the overall attention to detail with his suggestions for amazing linens, use of creative backdrop (instead of the tried and true arch) and use of color, texture and most importantly the passion he puts into the work that impressed me the most. And, my bouquet... EXQUISITE! Again, beyond my expectations. He let me come in and see it as he was creating it and I was so excited I was floating on Cloud 9 all day... in fact I could not get the image out of my mind as I anticipated seeing it again on my wedding day. Michael's talented staff decorated my wedding cake with too. Again, CRAZY beautiful!!! The coolest part was that everything flowed together without being exactly the same. If you are looking for a florist who is over the top...able to create something unique and never seen before... and who will absolutely create an atmospher that will WOW your family and friends, I HIGHLY recommend that you do whatever it takes to convince Michael Bruce and his team to work with you to create the wedding of your dreams. He is worth every single penny and then some!

While I did not go through the planning process with him, my mother in law took care of this, I was very happy with the flowers. He delivered them early to the location we ask him to. He's very friendly and has an upbeat personality. I loved my bouquet and so did my bridesmaids. The cake topper he made was beautiful and completed my cake nicely.

When I met Michael, I loved him. His personality is great, and he is very talented! Druing our consultation I felt as if he knew exactly the feel that I was looking for. I felt like no matter what, he would do a great job and my flowers would be beautiful. The thing that was disconcerning about him was that he was nearly impossible to get a hold of! I would send 4, 5 emails and never get responces, they also wanted payment installments without redoing my invoices. Still though, I felt as if I didn't have anything to worry about. My flowers did turn out quite nicely. My alter was beautiful! My bridesmaids bouquets were pretty, but a little smaller then I thought they would be for the price. He did add allot of decor that wasn't discussed, but did look nice. Also, the boutineers discussed for the fathers and grandfathers were incorrect. All and all, he did a good job - and the "mistakes" were only ones that I would notice. But I would say the communication was less then great for sure. And being a bride on a budget... not that much bang for my buck in my opinion.

Michael was amazing from day one! He offered me his services through Wish Upon a Hero since I was diagnosed with Leukemia prior to being engaged and fighting it for two years after my engagement. All of my personal flower were donated by Michael Bruce and they were all AMAZING! He has a vision and goes with it! I trusted him totally and was not disappointed. He donated my flowers, my girls and groomsmen, the parents, and grandmothers flowers as well as a toss bouquet and the flower girls petals. He was fun to work with. Being around him just put a smile on my face. He took time to ensure that the flowers were exactly what I hoped and they really were. I recommend him to anyone who wants artistic talent from a kind professional!

MBF was a joy to work with and did such an amazing job for our wedding. They are so happy to be creative and flexible and really work within your budget and your style. I highly recommend MBF.

The flowers, centerpieces and other accents blew me away! It was even better than I had imagined. Michael added some great accents that yielded lots of praise and comments from guests. The bouquets were perfect. Its not just flowers - its a work of art!

Flowers, including bouquets, boutennieres, and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous. I brought our feathered headpieces in during the consultation, and Michael Bruce ran with the color scheme. He even worked feathers into all aspects of our flowers. It was like he read my mind, but improved on my vision! The flowers connected all aspects of our wedding together from our clothing to the colors in our uplighting. We'd recommend him to anyone!

Michael put together all of the flowers for my wedding this past July at the Cathedral Basilica and the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, including my bouquet, ceremony flowers, boutineers, bridesmaid bouquets, over 20 reception centerpieces and much much more. We met with Michael several times prior to the wedding and absolutely fell in love with his style. He is so accomodating and wonderful to work with, and we knew that he would do a fantastic job. His designs are unlike any that we have ever seen before which was perfect because we wanted a very modern, cutting-edge look. He happily agreed to our crazy requests, including buying lemons to put in tall glass cylinders on the placecard table! When my bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets arrived at our hotel the morning of the wedding, we could not believe our eyes. Several of my friends told me that they were the most beautiful arrangements they had ever seen. The same is true for the reception centerpieces which included about 5 different designs with flowers in vibrant shades of blues and purples (mostly orchids by request!). Michael was so much fun throughout the entire planning process and we will recommend him to everyone.

Michael Bruce provide flowers and displays for our Wedding on August 3, 2012 at the Merion. Michael is amazing. My center pieces and displays for the ceremony were outstanding! My guest are still talking about how spectacular the flowers looked, he is a genius. We had Michael do our bouquets, boutineers, and flowers for our ceremony. Michael listened to what I like, and then ran with it. He put together flowers that were so beautiful and unique that I literally gasped when I saw them. They were incredibly beautiful and Michael was very easy to work with.

Michael Bruce is a genius. He understood the vibe and look of the arrangements that I was picturing from our first meeting. He brought each and every idea I had to life. If I have one complaint (and it's small), I would've like a little more direct communication with him. That being said, all my worrying was for nothing b/c when I arrived at my venue it was EVERYTHING I dreamed of!!!!

Michael Bruce is a genius. He took the idea I had and made it so beautiful. We wanted all roses, and some ivy in everyone's bouquets. My bouquet he did himself and even added in special jewelry and family heirlooms that I requested. I got so many compliments on it. And everything was reasonably priced - I told him what my budget was and he figured out something beautiful that would work. Plus, getting to see your flowers a few days before the wedding is such a treat. Michael really makes you feel like you're the only client he has. Which is amazing because he is so busy! I would recommend him to anyone in the South Jersey area.

My now-husband and I knew we'd go with Michael Bruce immediately after our consultation meeting a year before our wedding. Unlike other florists we'd met, Michael was very direct: he didn't waste our time asking pointless questions about our taste in flowers, probably because he could tell that we didn't have a taste in flowers aside from wanting them to not be ugly. He was able to envision a flower scheme for our wedding within our consultation time, in addition to providing information on how we could save some money off of the service, i.e., purchasing centerpiece vases at Ikea ourselves rather than having him do the same thing but have to charge more for it. I liked being able to preview both the centerpieces as well as the bridal party flowers. A month after our wedding, guests are still raving about our beautiful arrangements!

My family hired Michael Bruce for my sister's wedding 5 years ago, and when I got engaged, we didn't hesitate to call him. In addition to his incredible artistry and talent, Michael is probably the friendliest person I got to work with during the wedding process. I loved every second!! The flowers and decor for my wedding far surpassed my expectations and I am SO happy with the beautiful work Michael and his team did. I had a Jewish ceremony and he decorated the chuppah and ceremony space incredibly. Our centerpieces were GORGEOUS and we received so many compliments. I'd recommend Michael to everyone!!

Can I just tell you I love this man!!! I got married on May 21, 2010 at Scotland Run. He turned my reception into the most sophisticated, classy, breathtaking place I have ever seen. His eye for detail is amazing! He went out of his way to help me stay in budget, he even came to help me pick out the linens for the tables. He has a way of understanding exactly what I envision. I have recommended him to every person I talk to!!!!

Everything. He worked with my concepts and improved on them. He created table pieces far exceeding anything I could have hoped for and gave that WOW factor to the venue. My guests were as much in awe of his work as the Adventure Aquarium venue itself. He picked the perfect linens, chairs and pads, etc. He created a magnificent bouquet and incorporated seashells into each arrangement. He used color without being garish yet still keeping it formal and rich. He is a delight to work with and his creativity is unmatched. We trusted him to create without a mock-up and without specifying flowers. We were not disappointed. he will be handling the linens and flowers for our upcoming adoption as well.
