MDE is awesome! It’s hard to hire a DJ, because it’s unlikely you’ve seen them in action before, so you’re essentially paying sight unseen. And admittedly, we were nervous, but Michael is awesome! He uses an app to organize your timeline and all of your music, and you get to fill it in at your own pace! His song edits for our first dances were great, his pricing is reasonable, and he was able to read the dance floor well. He’s a wee bit chatty, but we’ll give him a pass ;)

I had no idea where to start when looking for a DJ, but after reading the reviews for Michael, I decided to contact him and I am so thankful I did. My wedding day would have not been the same without him. From the beginning, Michael was a great communicator and was very quick to respond anytime that I had a question. He set up multiple zoom meetings, so we could get to know him and ensure that everything was prepared for wedding day. Not only was Michael a great communicator, but he was also very organized. He has an app that he uses that helped us to easily inform him of details for our wedding day and songs that we wanted played at our wedding. The app helped us to also inform Michael of specific songs we wanted played at specific times during our wedding (song for cake cutting, song for entrance/exit, etc). Michael is very personable, and we greatly appreciated the time that he took to truly get to know me and my husband. It felt like we had known Michael for years even just in the first zoom meeting. The thing that makes Michael different from other DJs is the time and effort he puts in to make “special moments” throughout the wedding. One example of this is that he offered the idea for me to put in a voice recording for my dad during our dance together. This moment with my dad is something that I will cherish forever and was really special and emotional for every person who was at the wedding. He offered many different ideas like this - however, he never pushed us to do anything that we didn’t want to do. I also had some ideas of my own, which he graciously helped me execute at my wedding. Overall, Michael helped me make my dream wedding come true. I highly recommend using him as your DJ!!

Michael Durham Entertainment was a blessing to work with for my daughter's wedding. I was anxious about hiring a DJ because I knew they would represent my family and Michael did an amazing job! He was so well organized and focused before hand on exactly what my daughter wanted for music and the ceremony. He was early to the venue and completely ready and prepared when the time came. He did a beautiful job creating a special slide show for the parent dances and helped us pull off a surprise dance by both sets of parents. Michael made sure that EVERYTHING went perfectly! From our pre-ceremony music to the last dance, he did wonderfully. There were no hiccups or technical difficulties. Mike was absolutely amazing. He has a software to help organize the songs you want during the various stages of your wedding. It’s super easy to use and provides sections for comments. He’s incredibly responsive and helpful. You can tell he has loads of experience with being a DJ/MC. Very thankful for him. He helped the entire wedding move smoothly, and was super friendly. I cannot say enough good things about Michael and his wife! They were absolutely fantastic. Weeks before our wedding our Day of Coordinator decided to close her business. So, we were without a coordinator. Michael and his wife jumped in from the very begging and coordinated the flow of both the ceremony and reception. Michael's wife even took it upon herself to make sure there were some Hors d'oeuvres set aside just for me and my husband. All our guests raved about him for the tremendous job he did. He really broke the ice with his announcements and speaking and he got many people out onto the dance floor that I didn't even think would get up and dance. Michael truly made the night something to remember.

Michael, and his wife, were an absolute joy to work with for my wedding. He went above and beyond from the first moment we spoke on the phone. I had a bad experience speaking with DJs prior to him so I was skeptical, but by the end of the first phone call he had won me over. He is professional, patient, funny, and the joy he has for his profession is infectious. He has an app he uses where you can input all the information for your wedding, music requests, do not plays, etc. It allows you to listen to suggested songs if you are stumped on music and save them to your list directly in the app. The accessibility of it and his communication are fantastic. He helped us determine a timeline for the ceremony and reception, worked well with our officiant and photographer, and when our coordinator didn't show up, his wife stepped in to help us line up and tell us when to walk. I wasn't sure what I wanted for music pre-ceremony and during dinner/reception, so he recommended songs and put together a great music playlist. He even surprised us at the reception with a slideshow/video of photos of my husband and myself from photos we had sent him. I appreciated how he was able to accommodate the needs of my grandfather having to leave early and making sure we were still able to make our dance without de-railing the entire timeline or it being apparent that it wasn't done when we planned. Michael went above and beyond for our wedding, more than I ever could have anticipated or expected; he is an absolute joy to work with and have as a part of your day. If I could go back and do everything over again, one thing I wouldn't change is him. If you need a DJ/MC for your wedding, call Michael.

Absolutely amazing! I can't recommend Michael Durham enough! Incredibly easy to work with and SO patient. He made all of my visions and ideas come to life with a slideshow I wanted to do. Anytime I felt overwhelmed he was so calm and reassuring. He truly made our wedding so much more special. By far my easiest vendor to work with! Always responded immediately if I had any questions. Michael was such a blessing in the wedding planning process and the wedding day. We had a couple of meetings with him before the wedding and we were really confident in our decision as our wedding dj. He exceeded our expectations and more and we got so many compliments on him. Michael did a phenomenal job on our wedding. From the start we were hesitant to hire a DJ because we wanted a very low key reception. Eventually we decided that to get everyone on the dance floor it would be necessary. Michael talked with us about our vision for the reception and executed it perfectly. He was great about taking requests from our guests. (A five year old cousin was overjoyed to have her favorite song played). When my mom sprung the idea of a mother-daughter dance in the middle of the reception he ran with it. And he helped me and my husband to get our secret first dance without it being a whole thing. Our reception was a dream come true in large part because of Michael. TL;DR Michael listened to our hopes and concerns and delivered the perfect reception. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Michael was a joy to work with from our very first zoom meeting his happiness was infectious. Michael was incredibly organized and involved in the planning process. He guided us every step of the way through from the initial planning phases to the wedding day. He even attended the wedding rehearsal, so we could work out any last minute kinks. I cannot express how HAPPY my husband and I were with Patrick Michael Weddings! First off, Michael is truly a Rockstar and takes his job very seriously---BUT not too seriously! His energy, ideas, and laid back style really helped make our wedding day that much more special! My husband and I did a small destination wedding ---about 80 people---we were originally not going to have a DJ, but boy I am so happy we did! If you think about it, the DJ dictates the entire night! Our venue provided us with two options, and he specifically said for Patrick Michael Weddings "Now if you want someone who is going to bring the party, Patrick Michael Weddings is it!" We were sold! Michael offers so much that you can add to your reception to really make it special. My husband and I opted to keep it simple and low key, Michael honored that 100% --BUT added a touch of his flavor! The guests LOVED the bridal party introductions (we came up with the blurbs and Michael 100% took it from there! It was a hit!!!) My husband and I also did not have a wedding coordinator---worked out perfectly! Michael and his sweet wife Marisa acted not only as the DJ, but also lining everyone up for the ceremony and getting us all together for reception intros! I could seriously go on and on about how amazing Michael's services were! Not only is he a professional, he is kind and so personable! I would recommend him 100 times over again! Our wedding was so amazing due in large to Michael. We were planning from a distance and he video chatted with us for 2-3 hours one morning to discuss all the logistics and details of our big day. He has an online questionnaire that isn’t just song choices. He asks questions about the wedding party, your love story, your parents, etc. and uses that information during the wedding to make it very personal. He worked with me to make my father/daughter dance truly special and one that many of our guests enjoyed! He has so many unique ideas to make the day so special and different than any other wedding. He’s not just someone who stands up there and plays music, he makes the wedding personalized and memorable for everyone. I had many of our guests comment on how great he did. We also used his services for the photobooth, which was a huge hit! Michael was such a pleasure to work with....very professional and the best of the best. If I could find an excuse to work with Michael again in the future I absolutely would!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Michael! He really took the time to get to know us and tell our story. He and his wife were a great team to coordinate the wedding day, and everything went smoothly. He really took to heart how we wanted our big day to be and the vibe we wanted at our reception. We chose to also do the uplighting with our package, which helped set the tone for our venue. In addition, he was able to navigate some difficult family relationships, and he handled it exactly how we asked him to. They might be a little more of an expensive option, but with everything they bring to the table, it is well worth the money! Michael wasn’t just our DJ - he was our wedding coordinator as well. My husband and I were married on October 7, 2017. Hiring PatrickMichael Weddings for our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding; the DJ services were great (Michael did a wonderful job at reading the crowd and getting people on their feet), but it was their services beyond the music that made them so spectacular. They planned the entire day for us; they worked with our venue, as well as our other vendors, to create a day-of timeline to keep everyone on schedule. Patrick was so amazing at our reception. The party lasted for hours and everyone was dancing and having a great time. He brings a personal touch to the reception and makes it about the wedding couple AND the wedding party. It was amazing and I could not have asked for a more complete reception. He even made sure things that I did not want played were not played, things I did not want to happen, didn't happen. I wish I could relive that night because it was so, so amazing. And we are very, very thankful to have had Patrick as our DJ that night.

Michael Durham was amazing! Not only did he play the best music that my husband and I love but he went above and beyond the typical DJ standards. The epicness started when we first met. Michael was very professional and very helpful. He helped us realize the style of wedding we wanted and how to achieve that dream. Our ceremony music was beautiful and really good quality. Michael then had us write out our "love story" which was a beautiful touch to our reception. The special surprise was also really great; Zach and I really liked that part. Michael was always quick to respond to my email and very detailed with his work. He was really good! :)
