We interviewed a few photographers before choosing Michael, but his work speaks for itself. Michael was very helpful with all our questions and brought a lot of positivity and good energy to the wedding planning process. On the big day, he and his helper were attentive to all the details and made us feel comfortable, while making everything fun. The photos were even better than we imagined. We got back so many gems, and there is an unbelievable amount of thought, talent, and creativity that went into his shots. He has a really good eye, and doesn't overfilter anything. He managed to find the best angles and parts of our day and bring them to life again in the pictures. He is a truly one-of-a-kind talent. Our biggest issue now is deciding on only a few to print big!

Michael photographed our engagement and wedding session. He was knowledgeable and professional and researched locations, lighting and backgrounds. Most importantly, he let us enjoy our day without making us feel pulled away. The results were beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised at all the shots he got of things we missed during our reception, he was always where the action was!

Michael was spectacular. The day of he was personable, knowledgeable, and so helpful. He was great in getting all the shots requested and also engaging everyone. The experience was elevated to next level when we received our photographs. Absolutely perfect. Would be impossible to be any better, I'm beyond happy.

I can't say enough how happy my husband and I were that we chose Michael Fisher as our photographer. He was nothing but understanding and accommodating when we decided to move our wedding up, opting for a mini wedding at our home due to COVID 19. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful. He listened to what we wanted our day to be and worked with us throughout the process. We had to change our wedding to a small backyard ceremony with no reception due to covid and he really helped us through that. We are particular fans of his photojournalistic style, making the photos feel natural and unforced. What we found on the day itself is that Michael was an absolute joy to be around. He exudes professionalism, showing up early to scout locations and going above and beyond to shoot so many of the little moments that we were too busy to notice ourselves. He was part of our day without for a single moment giving us the feeling that he was intruding, yet when reviewing the photo it is as if he was everywhere at the same time. It's hard to squeeze in all the reasons why Michael is amazing in a few sentences and so this review will be long: Right through the wedding planning process my fiance and i were very clear that we wanted the pictures to tell the true story of how fun our wedding would be. We Skyped with quite a few photographers and zeroed in on Michael and one other. The other photographer seemed very professional but to me felt like was trying to sell hard. Michael has a cool, relaxing, friendly demeanor about him - which i felt was important the day of the wedding. We Skyped with him the first time and then met with him once in the run up to the wedding. He guided us and helped create a wedding timeline to get things in place. We are from out of town and the wedding was in Rochester, so we went back and forth a lot on emails. Michael offered to switch up the engagement shoot for a traditional ceremony we were having the day before the wedding and i cannot be more THANKFUL for that. He didn't have to but he did and i think that was very sweet of him. The pictures are amazing and he took so many of them. It was on that day i realized Michael's love and passion for photography and why he is one of the best ones around. He really did an amazing job and since this was the day before the wedding we were already getting comfortable with his style. We are still in the process of receiving all our wedding photos - it's been a little over a month and Michael has already put some batches of pictures up. With every batch that gets uploaded our smiles get wider. Our families loved Michael too and are loving the pictures. Everything went smooth the day of. The compositions of the pictures through getting ready, ceremony, formals inside the church, Cobbs Hill so far have all turned out great. My dad noticed that at the end of the wedding reception, Michael was all wrapped up and ready to leave when he noticed someone doing something that he thought was capture worthy. He unpacked all his gear at lightning speed and started clicking away again. He could have easily walked away since technically he had fulfilled his obligation but he stayed for a bit more. So, Michael is truly one of the best - if not the best photographer in the Rochester area who is reasonably priced if you compare with other wedding photographers but will provide you with the top notch service that you're looking for.

Michael is an amazing photographer and person to work with! Before the wedding he was extremely patient, willing to answer any questions and alleviate any concerns. He makes you feel like no question is stupid to ask. He spoke on the phone whenever I had any questions at all; and was very present throughout the whole process. We worked together and I felt like I knew what I could expect from him. During the wedding he was very pleasant and a great presence. He was open to direction; but the magic lies in his ability to capture the precious, raw moments! So many photos made me laugh and cry, as they were moments I want to relive over and over, or they are things I missed during the wedding that he filled in for me with his photos. The photos are stunning! There’s hundreds that I absolutely love. I’m so happy I chose him as my photographer and I now have amazing photos to look at for the rest of my life. Michael is also just a very genuine, kind and caring person!! He’s awesome and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

We had Michael and his assistant photograph our wedding a few weeks ago, and we could not be happier. Michael was extremely easy to work with and provided exactly enough direction without feeling intrusive. He is very knowledgeable about lighting and positioning, and it really shows in his photos. He was easy to get in contact with, and very organized. He was extremely flexible and was great at just going with the flow of the wedding. Many of the guests enjoyed his presence as well. His rates are so reasonable, and in my opinion, he could easily charge more for the quality of work that he produces. Less than 2 weeks after the wedding, I already have my first batch of formal photos, which we are so incredibly pleased with. I can't wait to see the rest! If you have the opportunity to hire Michael as your wedding photographer, DO IT! You absolutely won't regret it.

I am so happy that we choose Michael as our photographer! Michael shoots in a "lifestyle" style which means he lets the day happens and takes photos in the moment. While we did have staged, formal photos he made it seem very authentic and real and caught us laughing or making funny, real expressions. He was able to perfectly capture our love throughout our day. We choose to have two photographers for our day and we are very happy with that choice as we got twice and many pictures because of that.

Michael went above and beyond for our wedding day. His ability to capture moments is magical. He put everyone at ease and was able to coax the best natural looks/poses/smiles out of all of us. Michael thought of every little detail. His turn around time on edits was very quick and he let us see them in stages, which helped draw out our wedding high. I would recommend him again to anyone.
