Michael is absolutely fantastic. I am a Type A personality living and working in Boston and was leery based on horror stories I had read online! He was so amazingly AMAZING. I did not even know that he was there either at the Church and/or the Venue. He was respectful during the preparation at the hotel for both the groom and I. He is extremely unobtrusive. He captures the best of everything!! His photos were fantastic!! He delivers a quality product. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL LADIES!! Trust me you will not be disappointed. I knew that I needed to find a photographer that not only had experience in the wedding industry but also a zest for it. Of course, Michael's passion is photography but after reading his blog and website, I knew that he had a different fire for weddings. What I loved most about his images is that they weren't "traditional". He does action shots like I've never seen before. He has a way of capturing moments that are priceless. Linda and Michael are very timely and professional. It was easy to book our date, which I changed on him a couple times, and he answered all my questions and assured me that I would be 100% satisfied with his final product.

Michael & Linda are very easy to work with, They understood everything that we wanted on my big day. Definetely would recommend him for another event.

Brian and I could sing praises to Michael Paul Photo all day long. Michael and his "assistant" (:-)) Linda first met us in February 2012- in a snow storm, they came to CT to meet with us!! We had only met with 2 other photographers and felt most comfortable with Michael and his team. We had booked the package with the engagement photos and wedding album included. Michael and Linda travelled to Portland ME to shoot our engagement photos. It was a perfect day in May!! We just LOVED all of the pictures. He's like an artist with the camera, every one was more amazing than the next. On our wedding day, he had a second photographer- Lisa. Michael and Linda came to my mom's and Lisa went to photograph Brian and family pre-wedding. During both ceremony and reception you would never even know they were there. Both Michael and Lisa were in every important spot that we were, without even being noticed. He had told us at the very beginning that he would stay as long as needed to capture every picture, and he sure did. We couldn't believe it!!! We can't wait to see all of the pictures that were taken during our special day, and we're confidant they are everything we expected and more. We HIGHLY recommend Michael Paul Photo without hesitation.

When planning our wedding, finding a photographer was the most challenging vendor search we conducted; both my husband and I are artists and are usually the "photographers" at gatherings so the idea that we wouldn't be the ones controlling the camera was a hard one to accept from a stylistic point of view. That said, we wanted someone who we wouldn't just trust to capture our day like we would, but someone who would do it BETTER. After a frustrating search, a co-worker suggested Michael Paul to me, and looking through their work my husband and I were immediately hooked. Meeting with Linda & Michael was fantastic and they both shared our style and feel for what we were going for. All of their communication and scheduling was easy and professional from day one, and the enthusiasm was contagious as they zipped around capturing our day! He got so many fantastic shots we didn't know where to start looking once we received our photos. They perfectly captured the personality of our big day. Thank you so much, Linda & Michael!

I want to thank Linda & Michael from the bottom of my heart for such an amazing job they have done not only with the wedding, but with our engagement pictures as well. I've never had such a great experience with a business such as theirs, not only on a professional level, but a personal one as well. You both welcomed us and got to know us, which made us feel so much more comfortable and at ease. They have taken the business relationship to the next level, giving us so much more than what we had expected and we absolutely LOVED it! Even the small photo box filled with goodies was so sweet and thoughtful, and boy did we definitely need a break from all the craziness surrounding the wedding! It was perfect! And Michael - I can't thank him enough for helping me throughout the wedding with the little things, like how to hold my dress up while walking, getting myself into the car without drowning in my dress, and even tips on how to cut the cake - and being able to calm my mother down every step of the way! Oh, and the best part - He could get Nick to genuinely smile for the camera, He was able to complete my wedding and help make things go so smoothly! And I haven't even gotten to the fact that your talents as a photographer go above and beyond anything that I could have ever imagined (and I haven't even seen the wedding pictures yet - but the engagement pictures were perfect!) We are so happy we were able to find a photography team like Linda & Michael! And there will be times in the future, with having kids and such, that no matter where we end up living, there will always be a time when we can visit our family back in Connecticut, and make sure we contact these guys for more pictures :-)

The photos are one of the most important things about a wedding, and the personality of your photographer has to be compatible with yours. The people at Michael Paul are so friendly and service oriented. Any question I had was promptly answered and they were more than willing to work with me on any special ideas I had. They were so easy going and flexible. Not to mention, e photos are absolutely gorgeous. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

When my then fiancé now wife told me what she wanted to spend on a photographer I almost dropped my beer! I couldn't understand what could make somebody want to spend that much money, (keep in mind I am cheap, whatever digital camera someone might have would have been fine) so she showed me their web site and read me some of their reviews, I was impressed but definitely still skeptical so I agreed to go meet with them. They agreed to meet us close to where we were living in central mass about an hour drive from them. Upon meeting Michael and Linda I realized why they had received such great reviews. They showed me their work and ran through the entire process for me, from what all of the option were to how things were going to work, including the engagement photos. They even agreed to go up to Maine in December to shoot our engagement photos in Kennebunkport! After that weekend I knew we had received a fantastic deal not to mention great new friends! The engagement photos were fantastic and they were fantastic throughout the entire process, keeping in touch and checking in to see if there was anything we needed! Leading up to and on the wedding day they managed to exceed everything they had already done! I would not just recommend them to everybody I would say it should be required!

We found Michael Paul through TheKnot.com and we are very happy we did. Michael was incredibly helpful from the moment we met. He and his wife came up with a great idea for our engagement photos and we spent an awesome day in NYC taking a ton of awesome pictures. I am not usually on the receiving side of a camera lens and Michael was very adept at helping me be at ease in front of the lens. The pictures came out so good I am almost sorry I am asked him not to display them in his online portfolio because I am shy. We had a blast and we got hundreds of great photos. I was thrilled with all of Michael's help at our wedding and we were amazed that he managed cover the whole reception with ease. We got all the pictures we wanted right after the ceremony and we even had time to spend at the cocktail hour. I got tons of compliments from our guests about Michael (even our priest commented on his professionalism and respect in the church). For group shots Michael openly offered to take pics with the guests' cameras too so everyone could be in the shots. Michael has a lot of reasonable packages to chose from, and the prices are a lot less than other photographers who also give you digital copies of all the photos taken. The best part is our digital copies do not have a watermark and we have the right to print out photos to our hearts content. Also if we want professional quality prints Michael has that option available too. The wait for the photos might be longer than some photographers who let you see proofs right away, but the wait is worth it because after 4-6 weeks you get the final product in hand instead of being teased with thumbnails and waiting forever for the final prints. I have recommended Michael to a few Brides-to-be already. Michael and Linda put a lot of attention into the little details that helped make our wedding day a success.

An EASY 5 stars all around! Michael (with Linda's assistance) did a fantastic job at our wedding. We haven't seen the photos from the wedding yet (other than a couple on the camera LCD), but we also did an engagement shoot, which I also highly recommend. It was more fun that I thought it would be and the pictures came out great. Michael is very low key and relaxed but knows how to take the best shots. He charges a little more than some of the other photographers we looked at but we were not really satisfied with the samples we saw from the other photographers (less than ideal framing, no "life" or depth to the photos, excessively shiny faces etc). Not the case with Michael. If you want to have great photos you can count on, Michael is your guy.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. From the first conversations with Michael Paul and his wife Linda we knew that we had chosen the right photographer. Michael Paul was extraordinary and extremely professional all while making both my husband and I feel relaxed throughout the entire process. Both were accommodating when traveling to Kennebunkport to shoot our engagement pictures and they made each of us feel at ease even though we were camera shy. The pictures came out fantastic and we still have individuals ask us who the photographer is. After the engagement session both Michael Paul and his wife kept in touch on a regular basis continuously asking us if we needed anything at all. They even sent movies and our favorite candy a few weeks before the wedding as a reminder to relax and enjoy the moment. During the wedding we couldn’t have asked for more from a photographer. Michael Paul and his crew showed up early and made everyone feel at ease with his laid back but professional manner. He went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. Family and friends still ask about him. He truly will be not only our photographer but a friend for life.

Michael Paul Photo is the Best decision we made for our engagement shoot he is amazing! His work speaks for it self he is professional,responsible and he gets back to you quick! Hiring a photographer for a wedding is a key decision...you want someone who is competent, professional and unobtrusive. After a meeting in our home (all the others insisted we meet at their studios), the bride and her parents chose Michael Scroggins, and we are thrilled that we did. He captured all the important moments of this early summer wedding with a beautiful mix of color, black and white, informal, formal, still and dynamic shots. The wedding was such a blur, but having so many great photos helps us to relive the day over and over. We recommend him most highly.

Michael photographed our August 2010 wedding and we couldn't have been happier with him! He was so easy to work with, a total professional, and went above and beyond to help us on our day (he brought our ipod to the DJ when we didn't have time to before the ceremony, and found a plate for us for our cake-cutting!). Michael Paul did an amazing job photographing my wedding. He was attentive and accommodating to all the women in the house. Me, my mother, my two sisters (who were totally cool) and my grandmother, who actually has the whole world under control. He did everything he was asked and captured everything we could have possibly imagined; and some we never thought of. Beautiful images and great quality. I would recommend him to anyone. My husband and I own a flower shop...and have been so fortunate to be apart of so many fantastic, romantic and memorable weddings. As one can imagine when it came time for our own wedding...I was pretty relaxed and knew exactly what I wanted....even though I am florist....and believe that the flowers make the event....I also truly believe that the photographs are the most important part...since you will have them in your posession forever. Photography by Michael Paul was the vendor i choose for my wedding and boy was i happy i did! Not only were they priced in my budget but the quality photos i recieved were unbelievable. My son and my new daughter-in-law were married this past June. Photography was done by Michael Paul Photo and we couldn't be happier with his talent and professionalism. He was kind, curteous and unintrusive during the reception. The photos were beautiful. Each could tell its own story, and the happiness of the day showed through.
