If you’re looking for an overall great wedding band, these guys are the right choice! We had different iterations of the band throughout the day (guitar and piano for the ceremony, a trio for cocktail hour, etc) When we got to the reception, they had turned in to a five piece band with keyboards, guitars, and horns! They made our whole special day even better. Besides how great they were in their performance, they’re all really easy to work with. We had requested a few 80’s songs that we thought were probably hard to cover, but they pulled it off flawlessly! It was so much fun. Hire Waves of Ages!

My wife and I hired Michael to play for our wedding last year. I highly recommend Michael! He played for us for 5 hours total and kept us and our guests entertained all night. Michael worked with us to help us pick the perfect songs for our ceremony as we were having troubles deciding on songs. Michael was very personable and attentive to our needs and concerns. He had our minds at ease very quickly. The ceremony music was perfect and we asked Michael to extend the time for the reception because everyone was having such a great time listening and singing along with Michael. We had thought the reception would end early as there would be no band or dancing due to space restrictions but when Michael started playing drum beats of his guitar we had everyone dancing around the tables and singing along. Such a fun reception and Michael was definitely the highlight for our guests!

Last summer, Michael played for our reception in Temecula! We had a small destination wedding and hired Michael to play for a larger group when we returned to California. Michael learned three songs for us and then played from his extensive selection of music for the remainder of the evening. It was perfect! After the reception was over Michael even sat with a close group of friends and family around a giant campfire and played requests as we sipped on wine and shared stories – it was a special moment we will never forget! We hired Michael to play for our wedding and reception in Newport Beach. From the first day we contacted Michael, his high level of professionalism set our minds at ease. He helped us pick the perfect music for our ceremony and even put together an original arrangement for us of a song that had special meaning. Michael played solo for our ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception! He was able to pick songs perfect for the moment and take requests from our guests. Michael was comfortable acting as an MC for us (as a last-minute request). The reception was on the rooftop of a local hotel/restaurant and we were not able to hire a full band. As the reception went on Michael could see that our guests (80 of them) were in the mood to dance so he began looping songs as a “one-man-band” and even dig some beat-boxing. He had the entire party up dancing and it was an unexpected highlight for everyone! Everyone was amazed that Michael could play any type of music and we had to ask him to extend his time playing at the reception – which he was happy to do! I highly recommend Michael to anyone that is working with a smaller space but wants to have the option to still have guests dancing. We did not miss having a band and were glad that we didn’t hire a DJ for the space. Michael is very easy to work with and extremely personable and since the wedding, we have continued to follow him and go to his shows for our date nights!
