Michael's Catering

I scheduled a meeting with Michael's Catering to talk about the options for my wedding. We agreed on a time and date by email. Whenever I showed up for my appointment at 6:30 the doors were locked and it was dark in the building. I tried to call the number on the door, but nobody answered. After waiting for 30 minutes without anyone showing up we left. I had emailed him when we were waiting and he finally responded saying that he was still about 15 minutes away and asked if I was still there waiting. We drove all the way from North OKC to Moore for this meeting and he didn't even show up. He had my email and could have easily sent me one saying he was going to be late and we would have met later, but since he never said anything to me at all he has lost my business. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Michael's Catering is delicious! It was one of the best priced caterers in OKC. The staff was helpful and friendly at all steps, planning and serving. I couldn't have asked for any better food or service. We had tons of compliments on the food.

I STRONGLY advise others to go with another caterer. Michael was so nice and assuring prior to the wedding and then HE RAN OUT OF FOOD. Many of our guests did not get dinner and had to leave early. Beyond the food running out, the service was poor, people didn't have water, etc. and my guests were upset. Needless to say, we were stressed and embarrassed on our wedding night and I sincerely hope this does not happen to other couples. I took Michael's advice throughout the process and sadly he failed to deliver. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB because he did not fulfill his contract. He absolutely did not provide the dinners we paid for - his ridiculous excuse was that there were "wedding crashers". I have since discovered other reviews that show this is NOT THE ONLY time this has happened with Michael's Catering. Perhaps worst of all for potential customers is that his refusal to admit his mistakes means that he will likely repeat them.

Micahel's is a wonderful catering company! He does a variety of food and it tastes outstanding! We had a pasta bar and appetizers at our wedding and the guest loved the food! His service was outstanding with cleaning up, making the buffet stayed full, and making sure it was excellent quality and service! He even packed up the leftovers for us to take home and eat, made both (groom and bride's) plates and served it to us so that we didn't have to go through the line, cut our cake, and even made us food to take with us afterwards! He was there the whole time to make sure all went well and did not leave until after he was sure everything was finished and cleaned up! This is an excellent catering company and must have on your wedding day!
