Michael's Clothing

My husband and I went here for the tuxedos for our wedding party. We had a great experience with them. It was well worth skipping the big box menswear stores for the personalization and attention to detail that Keith and his crew provided for us all. We're so grateful for their expertise, we will be back for our formalwear needs in the future, as well as for well-fitting casual clothes as well.

Michaels has been a family owned business in Kansas City for nearly 90 years and are apart of the fabric of Kansas City. I initially chose Michaels for this reason as I did not want to go to a local chain store like a men warehouse. I quickly figured out that they had much more to offer than a name an tenure. My first visit to Michael's was with my entire grooms party on a Saturday in which we had 3 locations lined up to check. After our experience we did not even go to another location as there was no need. Our party was welcomed with a classic option of local bourbon or a local beer which helped ease the nerves of some of the groomsmen. We were walked through the options and Michael understood exactly what we were looking for. After a couple initial measurements we were given the history of the location from Michael which was amazing and very educational. After each of our tuxedos came in Michael's was very good at communicating with everyone individually when their items arrived. My fittings were very educational and they Taylor and Michael were very attentive to my needs. After a couple fittings i had exactly what I wanted and everything happened in a timely manner to where there was no stress before the wedding. The product and materials provided were too i had and if you purchase your tuxedos as we did they come with alterations for up to two years! Hell of a deal. All in all i would highly recommend Michaels due to its history, premium product provided and their customer service!

After having a nightmare experience with Men's Warehouse we decided to go with suits from Michael's for our wedding party. All the guys were super helpful and Dane assisted us through the entire process. The tailoring was top notch and all of our groomsmen loved them. If you want quality suits definitely go here. We decided from the get-go that we wanted to purchase the groom's suit for the wedding & we are so happy that we found Michael's. They were an absolute pleasure, so much so that my dad actually came in from out of town to get his suit here too. Let me tell you, they both looked handsome! We also had an incident where the groom's pants had gotten a little too tight and he didn't realize it until the week of the wedding. The Michael's staff had the pants altered within 24 hours which was a relief to the both of us. Would recommend Michael's!
