SPECTACULAR!!! There is truly no other word to describe my experience working with Michael's Florist. Gerard and Marie are so incredible to work with.. they put so much thought and care into taking my vision and creating a flawless masterpiece! Everything was perfect... They arrived exactly when they said they would, not a petal was out of place and everything looked stunning! Michael's went above and beyond for my bouquet, my bridesmaids', flowers for the church, for the gift table, the cake.. you name it. But let me tell you about my CENTERPIECES!!!!!!!!! My heart seriously stops every time I think about it. We had grand candelabras with spiraling vines up the base and draping flowers in the top center. Surrounding the flowers were tall ivory candles that made the ballroom so incredibly romantic ... everyone kept coming up to me to tell me how gorgeous they were.... absolutely took our breath away! I knew that everything was going to be gorgeous from how easy everything had been from Day 1 but I could never have imagined just how beautiful it truly ended up being. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have them on my special day and HIGHLY recommend giving them a call.

There are not enough stars to rate the work of Michael's! The bouquets, ceremony decorations, reception centerpieces, and additional decorations were absoulutely beautiful! I wish my bouquet never had to die! I loved it so much! It was the perfect size! It was fuller and larger than my bridesmaids' bouquets, but it wasn't overbearing. I wouldn't consider my bridesmaids' bouquets small either. They were smaller than mine, but still full and beautiful! Michael's made my ceremony location look like a fairytale. I got married at Pleasantdale Chateau, outdoors in front of the pond at the chateau. They placed a runner in the middle of two sets of chairs, and evenly and beautifully sprinkled rose petals on the runner. To the left and right of the runner was drapery, with three gorgeous arragements on each side. These arrangements were similar to the bouquets, but slightly different. Such variation created a beautiful scenery! The reception centerpieces were amazingly beautiful! Similar to the bouquets, yet different to create variation. I love a full low centerpiece in a round bowl, and the bowls that were used were very elegant. Perfect for a black tie wedding! Approximately five candles were displayed around each centerpiece, which really brought out the beauty of the flowers. I love flowers and candles, and the candles allowed me to enjoy the flowers to the fullest. The sweetheart table was so beautifully decorated with the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! Aside from their creation of spectacular arrangements, Michael's is truly a pleasure to work with! I worked with Gerard in choosing my flowers, and he was wonderful! He listend to my vision while putting his two cents in. I asked for his input because I had seen beautiful arragements created by Michael's before. Thanks to Gerard, I had no doubts that I selected my dream flowers. Gerard is not only an amazing florist. He is friendly, kind, attentive, accommodating, the list goes on. I almost cried when my flowers arrived on my wedding day. No words can describe how beautiful they were! They were everything I ever dreamed of in flowers and more. The gentlemen who delivered them were awesome! Before leaving, they (1) made sure that I was happy with the flowers and (2) were willing to fix anything that I wasn't crazy about. Gerard did an amazing job on our flowers! He worked with our budget and our ideas to give us the perfect centerpieces and bouquets! I would recommend them again in a heart beat!

We were recommended Michaels florist by a friend. We met with them and they were super kind and eager to hear our ideas and help us figure out all the bouquets and centerpieces. On the day of, all the bouquets and boutonnieres were delivered on time. We were blown away by how beautiful and elegant everything was. They also delivered flowers to the church and centerpieces to our venue. We were not very specific about what we wanted for centerpieces other than the choice of flowers and size. They took our ideas and ran with them and the centerpieces were so much more lush and stunning than we could have imagined. We loved Michael's Florist, they made our day so special and we would recommend them to anybody!!

When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I had to hold back tears, it was that beautiful! Michael's was organized and wrote up a formal slip (which they allowed me to edit several times), and got the order perfectly right on the wedding day. All of the bouquets were beautiful. Mine was fuller and larger than I expected - it was breathtaking. The centerpieces also came out wonderful. The price was reasonable and they were so friendly to work with. I highly recommend them!

We chose Michael’s as our wedding florist because my family has always ordered from them for their exceptional funeral work, and we could not have been more thrilled. (Think about it: any florist can have a pretty shop or put together a nice bouquet, but it takes serious talent and professionalism to make those huge stand-up pieces on short notice, and have them still look gorgeous after three days without water.) Michael’s is an old family business on a residential street (they used to be in Newark, 60+ years ago), not much to look at from the outside, but their work is amazing. (They did Snooki’s wedding, of all things.) We went in with some general ideas – cornucopia vases, old-fashioned flowers, swatches of our gowns and stationery – and they quickly roughed-out a centerpiece from flowers they had in the case, told us what and how much we needed, chose colors for our roses, etc. I was not the “I must have exactly this shade of out-of-season peony” kind of bride – I believe in hiring good vendors and trusting them to know their business, and Michael’s was the perfect match. We loved working with them – they’re old Italian guys who don’t mince words – and they were pretty reasonably priced under the circumstances (we paid cash). On our wedding day, everything was classic, gorgeous, delivered on time, perfectly fresh and beautifully arranged. What more can you ask?

My husband and I recently got married on Friday, June 26th and our flowers were so beautiful. I ABSOLUTELY loved working with Michael's Florist. We worked with Gerard and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. I even ended up changing my color scheme for my bridesmaids and Gerard was so graceful when I had decided to change the colors of some of our flowers. Gerard went out of his way to make a sample centerpiece for me to see and he even did some drapery for us (and even made a sample of the drapery for us to see too!). Gerard and his family are true professionals and they take a lot of pride in their work. It is evident that they put their heart into their business, this shines through in the beautiful work that they do. Not to mention, you will get a lot of value for your money with Michael's Florist.
