Beef was overcooked. Vegetables were not what we ordered. They were supposed to serve the buffet but dropped the food off and left. The wedding food will taste nothing like the tasting food they prepare for you.
These unprofessional people ruined our wedding meal with their sub par food and non existent service.

I am a wedding coordinator and have worked with many different caterers. I am always so relieved when I see that MiChef is serving at one of the weddings that I am coordinating. I can trust MiChef to cover every aspect of the food for the reception. They are prompt and reliable in every step of the planning, their food is always delicious, the servers are courteous and efficient, their dishes, glasses, and cutlery are always spotless, and Mark and Isabel have complete control of the rapid and varied activities that must be accomplished in the kitchen. This catering company exhibits their love of the work and the desire to provide outstanding service. A couple cannot do better than MiChef for their reception!

Chef Mark and his wife were very kind and flexible. They allowed us to modify a plate to our liking and our guests and ourselves enjoyed the food very much. They respond quickly and are always willing to answer questions and doubts.

Absolutely amazing!
Their prices were very reasonable, they were very responsive.
They assisted in every way possible. The food was absolutely amazing and people enjoyed it!
We had beef marsala and lemon chicken. When we went to sample we weren’t charged and they had really big plates!
Chef Mark and his wife are such a blessing and helped us in every way!

MiChef catered our daughter's sixteeñera event in downtown Houston, and the food and service were beautiful. We had a special request to honor my late father's cooking of Cuban Ropa Vieja and Chicken, and Chef Mark stepped up to the challenge. All our guests, young and old, commented on the amazing food. This made us so happy, as food has special meaning in our family. He worked with us on every detail, and was a pleasure to work with. I believe every budget will receive the same care. We highly recommend MiChef for your special event. We hope we'll have another opportunity to work with Mark again! Thank you MiChef!

The very best catering service I have ever experienced! Mark and his wife were absolutely easy, workable and such a pleasure to interact with! The service they provided was 5 star all the way! Beautiful decor and dinnerware! All of my guests raved about how good the food was...all the way down to the rolls and salad dressing! They made our day top notch and was truly professional! Would use them again and again! 🥰🥰

Just used MiChef for our wedding reception and they were amazing!! For the value, they cannot be beat! They are so affordable yet still have DELICIOUS food! They have a variety of options for any type of food you’re wanting and are so easy to work with. Our tastings were quick and easy, and our wedding guests all talked about how amazing the food is! They are prompt and professional and we would definitely recommend chef mark for your catering needs!

Mark and Isabel are amazing! They were flexible when we needed to lower our meal count and add a cake cutting, arrived on time, and were a pleasure to work with. Not to mention the food was amazing, we received many compliments! With our wedding on a holiday and our coordinator catching Covid, they were a great help by plating the salad for all the guests before they all reentered our venue for reception, despite us doing a buffet style. We couldn't have found a better caterer. Thank you both so much!

If you are looking for an affordable catering service then look no further! Chef Mark and his wonderful staff are amazing! We booked them for our 11/13/21 wedding and we had many compliments regarding the food and wait staff. The wait staff came dressed to the nines and were so wonderful. If you have any questions, Chef Mark is easy to get a hold of and responds promptly. This is the caterer you want to go with!

I’m the Mother of the Groom, I was given the task to find a caterer. I emailed and called about six of them in total. I spoke to MiChef and I immediately liked him, he has years of experience and his prices are very affordable. My son and daughter-in-law did a tasting and we’re very pleased. They got married this past weekend and everything went perfect, the appetizers and entrees were delicious. His staff were professional and efficient and the best part about it was it didn’t break the bank. He’s amazing and you will not be disappointed!!

MiChef is amazing! Booked them for my wedding a few weeks ago and they exceeded my expectations. All our guests LOVED the Shrimp Étouffée! We chose to do the buffet style and all the food stayed fresh and hot. Chef Mark is awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend MiChef catering!

Chef Mark and his wife Isabella are so sweet and professional. We had our tasting in their restaurant in Humble. They make delicious plates for you to try, and have an extensive menu you can select from. When we had a change in headcount, they were able to easily accommodate it and ensure we had enough food for our party, and even made a few specialty meals for our vegan friends and family. The day of, they added a special twist to our food, which was amazing and everyone was raving about how delicious it was. I know without their food and their care, our day would not have turned out as wonderful as it did.

My family has known Chef Mark for several years and have had him cater many events for our family. So when it came time for our daughter's wedding, we knew that we wanted to have him cater the special event. He and his staff did a fantastic job with the set up which was beautiful, and the food was awesome!!! We had so many compliments from our guests, and we knew we had nothing to worry about!! We highly recommend Mi Chef for any of your catering needs !!!! He's awesome !!!

Recommend by my church, we were so please to have Mr. Michael and his team cater our wedding! With many foodies, food industry professionals and seasoned grill masters we received various compliments on the food! Even at two more family gatherings, one month post wedding people are still talking about the food! Both a pleasure to work with and delicious food! MiChef Caters catered my wedding and did a fantastic job. They were so easy to work with in every way. They did a sit down dinner for 220 people and the service was very fast and efficient. The waitstaff were very courteous to all of my guests. The best thing about MiChef was the food. It was delicious and served hot, which was something I stressed as important. We had many compliments and were asked numerous times to share information about them to friends. I will definitely use them again for any catering needs that I have.
