I took engagement photos with my fiancé and used Michele as our photographer. Our photos turned out so stunning! it was our first professional photoshoot together and I honestly didn't know what to expect but during the shoot she told us exactly how to pose and what to do. She made it easy for us. I'm usually picky and self conscious with photos of myself, but I love each and every photo. I can't wait to use these for our wedding invitation and to frame in hour home. Michele absolutely goes above and beyond. I was planning a surprise proposal, and I am not exaggerating when I say the proposal was perfect, the pictures are perfect, and none of it would have happened without Michele. From the get go, she made the whole process fun, friendly, and easy. The idea was to pretend my fiancee was going to a scavenger hunt and the final clue leads us to the proposal. Michele got the idea quickly and really played into it, added some ideas, and helped with picking out decorations. In fact, she had an amazing idea to have the walkway decorated with pictures from our relationship and went out the way to print the photos and get frames for the photos. Additionally she printed out the clues and hid them in the property (and let me know where they all were). She even orchestrated the timing of it all so we would be there right during sunset to get the best lighting for the moment and for the photos. When we arrived she played the “scavenger hunt” host, and even made up a story about a family that had tried to do the scavenger hunt the day before. It was great! When we got the proposal spot, Michele was ready with her cameras and captured the whole thing. We stayed for a photoshoot, and Michele made it all so special and easy, with lots of great spots for photos and poses. The photos all look absolutely beautiful. We now have this very special moment in our lives only made possible from planning to photos by Michele!

Michele is such a wonderful photographer - we are lucky to have worked with her. Not only is she talented, but she is professional, efficient, and SO much fun! She kept things lighthearted and joyful, making sure that we were comfortable and looked great throughout. It’s been a couple of months since our wedding and I still can’t believe how stunning the photos are - Michele truly did such an amazing job making us look good!

Michele was absolutely AMAZING! We came from Montana for our destination wedding to Oahu and planning from 3000 miles away was hard. We didn’t know what to fully expect when all was said and done and our day came, but Michele was wonderful to work with, so much fun, met all of our requests to the best of her ability, and made sure to have a little fun with us while capturing everything during the reception too. Just by our sneak peaks alone, I know that I’m going to be absolutely in love with all of our photos. Only thing that makes me sad is that she’s too far away for us to use for other future photo needs!

When it comes to photos, my husband and I are not photogenic individuals, but Michele was very lively and easy going, almost like a lens was not pointed towards us during the time of photos! She was so kind to provide over the number of photos she was paid for making it impossible to choose photos for our crystal album. To add on, she even upgraded our wall arts! You can definitely tell she takes pride in her work. I 100% recommend Michele to anyone who needs a photographer for any occasion.

Michele was an absolute dream to work with! She is a very talented, professional and creative photographer. She has a very lively and upbeat personality that is so fun to work with! We had a surprise engagement photoshoot planned and everything worked out perfectly, she provided us our pictures SO FAST, we were so delighted by the speed and the quality of the pictures, they were beyond our wildest imagination. I would highly recommend Michele, and I hope to be able to have her capture our moments again in the future. I am so glad we went with Michele because part of our special experience that day was having her as our photographer.

A few years after losing my husband of 20 years to cancer, I was to marry a long-time friend of ours. I still can’t believe how lucky I am to have found love again! We chose to marry where he a lived for the past decade, Oahu. As Disney is a big part of our lives, we chose Aulani and had planned a beach wedding nearby. Michele was super helpful with the planning of the location and she acquired all the needed permits (so our minister didn’t have to do it! Since it was his first wedding, he was grateful!!). As I walked to the beach, ready to wed in my beautiful dress etc, I discovered all our guests, my fiancé and Michele waiting for me. They broke the news that the beach was washed out from the hurricane. Michele had a few back up plans to make it work. We had the grand villa at Aulani for our reception and she had the great idea of doing the ceremony there. We had a wonderful time, and she made the pictures work under such unplanned circumstances. The 100+ pictures are just incredible. She was wonderful. She stayed longer than planned because of the last minute changes and went above and beyond to make our day great! We are visiting next year and I hope to schedule her for a blended family photo shoot! If anyone needs a wonderful and affordable photographer, Michele is the one!

I first met Michele at the Bridal expo in Jan 2020. I remember meeting her in passing at her booth, and she left a very lasting impression. Plus, loved her photography style- all her photos were so bright and beautiful. As I met other vendors that day, I continued becoming more sure that Michele was our person to capture our big day. In doing our engagement shoot and helping us to navigate all the ups and down brought on by covid, I learned that Michele is such a wonderful friend in addition to being a wonderful photographer. She was compassionate, resourceful, and very willing to chat about changes we could make to keep our vision alive. She is truly one of a kind, will make you laugh if your timid in front of the camera, and will answer your emails with a quick turnaround time. I can't sing her praises enough. Our photos came out gorgeous from our small COVID wedding, and were so grateful that we had Michele capturing memories we will never forget.

Michele has an eye to capture special moments! Even with cloudy skies and a bit of rain, she was still able to shoot amazing photos at our outdoor, intimate wedding ceremony and reception. We love her use of natural light and her ability to capture the personality of us with her camera. Her attention to detail is outstanding. We were so comfortable having her take our photos. She made sure we were okay and reassured us that everything will be great, which it was! It’s so hard to pick one favorite picture because they all turned out fabulous! Michele is cheerful and kind. She has such positive energy that you can tell she is passionate about her work. We’re so glad she was there to photograph our big day! Thanks again, Michele!

This is a very long overdue review for Michele. I used Michele for both my engagement photo session in addition to our actual wedding day, Summer 2018 and January 2019. I knew from the very beginning that she was the perfect photographer for us. Michele has amazing energy and is so kind and spontaneous. She did such an amazing job at making us feel relaxed and has a natural eye for what would make beautiful shot. Everyone has loved out engagement photos and especially our wedding day photos. I can look back through our photos and still relive the moment. You will not regret working with Michele to capture such important memories!

My wife found Michele Coelho at a Hawaii Wedding Expo and really like her work. Michele ran a special that if you booked you would get an engagement photo shoot, a 16"x20" wall picture, and a engagement video included with your wedding day picture package. From a male perspective, quality pictures are similar when you hire a professional. That being said, Michele's pictures came out great, but the package prices and how those pictures are presented is the difference. Her prices are lower than most and the albums she creates are amazing, not just quality pictures in a nice album. She takes the pictures you select and turns them into a beautiful keepsake. What you get for the price is incredible and the layout/format is truly the difference.

Michele Coelho is the BEST! We met her at the Bridal Expo. Not only was her personality and energy just amazing, but her work blew us away. The engagement session we did was super fun and the pictures were magical (we had a Disney themed wedding). She was always on time and professional. Its just very clear she knows how to capture love. At the wedding we had nothing less. She alone was able to capture our entire day flawlessly. We absolutely love our pictures! We will definitely be giving her a ring when it comes time for a maternity shoot ;)!

Michele was our wedding photographer, she was just amazing to work with. Me and my husband live in Arizona and we were having a destination wedding in Hawaii. I came across her webpage one night and was amazed by her work. Communication with her was super easy, she was always there to answer our questions and to help us. On our wedding day no surprise she made us feel very comfortable and we had so much fun around her, she has these super positive energy the whole time . My parents loved her, they don't speak any English and her ability to speak another language was a extra plus. We can't thank her enough for all these perfect photos and the great time we had on our wedding day.

Michele was my wedding photographer & I just absolutely love her! Our pictures we downloaded came out perfect! She had the perfect package that was within our budget. She is the cutest little thing. Working with her was just amazing. She brought that positive attitude, with a little fun sassiness in there that I loved! When you put her & our videographer, Charles of Aloha Films, you will not be disappointed! They bring out the best in each other as they capture your moments. If you have one, you need to have the other. Michele's photos are absolutely breathtaking! We just have it online now because we moved shortly after our wedding, but she is will be mailing our prints & albums soon, which will look even better than online. I am recommending her to everyone I know who's having a wedding. You won't be disappointed.

Michele is the best of the best. She was so easy to communicate with before the wedding (especially considering I was in Oklahoma) and so easy to work with on the day of the wedding. She is so charismatic & a genuinely sweet person. We just received our pictures in the mail & I absolutely could not be happier. The pictures turned out great, the prints & plaques were so unique & so different than anything I have seen before. You will not regret using Michele. I planned my own wedding and found that not all vendors were that pleasant to work with. Michele on the other hand was such a delight to have and was by far the best vendor I had hired for my wedding. Her professionalism and attention to detail was such a breathe of fresh air. In addition, the images she captured for our wedding were fantastic. She has a great eye and is so easy to work with. The weather on the day of our wedding was of course not cooperating but Michele was able to wing it and find some great spots for us to still get some beautiful pictures on the beach and outside. After the wedding Michele continued to be supportive and attentive as we selected our images for speciality prints. Finally, when our box arrived with all our goodies I was highly impressed with the tiny details of presentation that really went beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a professional photographer here in Hawaii to document your wedding or any special occasion I would recommend Michele without a second thought. She really was the best!

Michele Coelho is fantastic!! It was so stressful to plan a wedding on the opposite side of the US but Michele was amazing. She was always checking in via phone or email and making sure I didn’t have any questions. Unfortunately it rained the entire time during our wedding but Michele always had a positive attitude and was able to take some amazing pictures! She was so friendly and funny and made everyone have a great time! I could not say enough wonderful things about her. I would recommend her to anyone who is needing pictures done. Amazing is not even enough to describe her! There is no need to look for another photographer. She is perfection, honest, and reliable! That is hard to find in this industry. As a bride, she has been the easiest vendor to interact with. My expectations are always exceeded with her! No need to waste time like I did talking to a million photographers! Hire her!

I recently got married in January and I went to Hawaii to do a destination wedding. Michele was amazing to work with! Prior to the wedding she kept in contact with me. On the wedding day Michele was just wonderful and amazing to work with you. She Knows what she’s doing. During the wedding a stain got on my dress and Michele was able to save the day and remove the stain. She took breathing taking photos and has a positive energy. I would recommend her!!

We are a family of 4 and chose Michele for our family photography at the beach. I am so happy that we picked her as she is so wonderful. She is very understanding, flexible and creative. We have a 3 year old who is very shy and I was afraid that he would frown and/or hide behind my leg in all the pictures but Michele connected with him and got him to laugh! I would recommend Michele Coelho Photography to any bride and groom looking for a fantastic photographer! I live in Pennsylvania so planning a wedding with a 6 hour time difference to a place I have never been, was stressful at times. However, working with Michele was the easiest time I had. She always answered my questions and made the whole process so easy for us. When the big day finally came, Michele made us feel so comfortable. We laughed through our whole shoot. My husband and I had so much fun working with her. Our pictures arrived to us so quickly in this beautiful box, you could tell she put so much care and time into them. Our pictures were FANTASTIC!!
