Hi, I'm Derek, Michele's husband and the second photographer at Michele McCoy Photography. On wedding days you'll find the two of us working side by side, and having two photographers means we can be in two places at once. I might be catching the groom and his guys laughing before the ceremony while Michele is with you, or grabbing candid reception moments from across the room while she's focused on your first dance. Between the two of us, nothing slips by. Off the wedding day, I'm the one keeping everything organized behind the scenes, so from start to finish the whole experience runs smoothly and feels like the professional team you're trusting with your day. More than anything, I love being part of helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera. If you're a little nervous or "not really a photo person," I promise we'll have fun with it. So many of our couples tell us the best part was how comfortable and down-to-earth the whole experience felt, and that's exactly what Michele and I set out to create every single time. Hi, I'm Michele, the owner and lead photographer behind Michele McCoy Photography, based in Mountain Home, Arkansas. I'm a wife, a mom to two sweet boys, and someone who genuinely loves this work: capturing the laughter, the tears, the first looks, and all the little in-between moments that make your day yours. My style is true-to-color and timeless, a natural blend of candid, in-the-moment storytelling and beautiful posed portraits. My goal is simple: to create images that still feel like you years from now, and that bring you right back to how the day felt every time you look at them. Over the past several years I've refined my craft under the mentorship of an award-winning wedding photographer, and I've had the joy of photographing couples all across North Central and Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri, from Eureka Springs and Fayetteville to Bentonville, Springfield, and Branson, plus destination weddings wherever love takes you. On wedding days, my husband Derek shoots right alongside me as your second photographer, so no moment goes unseen. More than anything, I want your experience to feel relaxed, fun, and completely pressure-free, even if you're "not really photo people." (Most of my couples say that, and then have the best time.)
