Wow, I could write a thesis on how incredible it was to work with Michelle Angeli for our wedding. Initially, we booked Michelle as our photographer but finding out she did florals and videography too, we hired her for all three jobs! I don't know how she did it but not only did she rise to the occasion, she went above and beyond on services for all three for us! Meeting with Michelle during the planning phase of the wedding was the most helpful (and fun!) because she 1) she's hilarious, lighthearted and feels more like your friend who is brainstorming and helping you plan, rather than your vendor and 2) she pulls from many years of experience in the wedding industry and can give precise guidance on absolutely anything. I used her advise as the gold standard when making our timeline and coordinating with the rest of our vendors - and it worked out so well. Everything on our special day turned out beautifully, just the way we had planned and the best part was she captured it all in the phenomenal photos and video for us to look back on for years to come. Some things I want to note that really loved; Michelle came up with a beautiful idea to have my mom, a florist, assemble my bouquet for me so that she could focus on playing her role as my mom on my wedding day, but still contribute in a way that made it feel so, so special. She also sources her florals from local, sustainable farms as best she can so if you are getting married during peak bloom you will be helping out local agriculture by purchasing flowers form them - how amazing! I also want to note that Michelle and her entire team's energy on the day of the wedding was fun, in control, and reassuring. You can tell she's done this hundreds of times. She has a gift for planning ahead and corralling family members, wedding parties and guests to make sure you have the photos you want. I loved being able to just follow her lead and not stress over the small stuff, knowing that Michelle and her team had it all under control. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone who is looking for an extremely talented photographer to capture photos of big life events to remember, someone who is organized, helpful and reliable, as well as a really just all around fun person to hang out with on your special day!

Michelle was one of my best vendors hands down. She provided florals, videography and photography for our event. Everything was perfect and exactly how we imagined our wedding to be. She was so fun to work with, and her emails and communications were so incredibly helpful while planning for our big day. I'm so glad we made the decision to book Michelle for our wedding!

Amazing amazing amazing. I only received my sneak peek (they give you a few teasers within a week of the event) and I’m blown away. I can’t wait to get the rest of them! From the first moment we met Michelle, we knew we wanted to go with her. Her and Diane (the actual photographer in the day of) were incredible, and learned all of my family members’ names, even my “popo” (grandma in Chinese). They were fun and easy to work with, and I am THRILLED at the results!

Michelle was fantastic from beginning to end! From our first Zoom meet-and-greet, we knew we had to hire Michelle. She has a mix of such fun energy, professionalism and leadership - three qualities that we knew was important for managing the organization of so many people for photos. Her spirit, skill, and dedication to capture our special day were unrivaled - a massive heat wave occurred during the weekend of our wedding, and Michelle even persevered after experiencing heat stroke! She somehow managed to capture epic shots, and even stayed on longer than the contract specified to make up for time lost. I particularly loved that Michelle is someone that takes natural shots but isn't afraid to help us pose (hello, awkward hands). She taught me some cool tips and tricks to looking more natural and it definitely paid off. She also popped off with hilarious one-liners that led me to literally laugh out loud. You need a Michelle at your wedding to help calm your nerves and encourage fun. Going back and re-living our wedding through her photo compilation has been such a fun blessing for us. Don't hesitate to hire Michelle ASAP! You won't regret it.

Where do I even start? Choosing Michelle as our photographer was truly the best decision we made for our wedding. From the very beginning when we had meetings before the wedding to discuss details, Michelle was so kind and fun to work with. She gave us photo times lines and nailed everything down to the very last detail beforehand and always answered every question we had, giving us all the confidence in her and helping take so much stress off of us. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond and was so much more than just our photographer. She professional and fun to work with, but beyond that she was a hype woman, family wrangler, kept us on our timeline, made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was altogether a really positive energy to have on our wedding day (and in the dance floor!). Having her on our team was amazing. As for her quality of work, I can’t say enough good things. Her photography/editing style is timeless and really captures the essence of each moment in the photos. I look at the photos she took and I can remember exactly what I was feeling in that moment. I’m so obsessed with our gallery and impressed with her work! I know we’ll cherish these photos forever. Michelle has such a gift and I’m so glad we got to share in it.

The absolute best photographer we could've found for our engagement shoot and wedding! We met Michelle through TheKnot, and after a quick cafe meet-up, knew her aesthetic and vision was exactly what we wanted. COVID ended up delaying our wedding by a year, but Michelle worked with us to make sure our new date was locked in. She was extremely organized and on top of everything leading up to the wedding, and of course, on the day itself. It couldn't have gone any better than it did. Her work speaks for itself, and we couldn't recommend her enough. Thanks again Michelle!

We struck gold on Reddit when we found Michelle. Another couple posted a link to her website and we just fell in love with her style immediately. It was warm, natural and felt homey. After meeting with her over a cup of coffee, the conversation was non-stop fun and of course informational! We booked her for our engagement and wedding - then boom COVID. She was more than willing to be flexible with our rescheduling and on/off delayed wedding plans. We decided to elope in Monterey and Michelle became our florist, our day of planner and photographer. She went above and beyond. Personally, Michelle is the only photographer I will need for future life events.

Michelle was our wedding photographer, engagement photographer, and she also did my bridal bouquet. We are so happy to have worked with her and she's been super fast to get us our photos. She was a totally relaxing force on our wedding day and super easy to feel comfortable around. I normally HATE getting my photo taken, and I didn't mind getting photographed by her at all. The bouquet was exactly what I wanted and she hardly needed any direction on it. She was easy to communicate with and get ahold of before the event and we loved how friendly she was with our dog (who was part of the wedding party). Thanks Michelle!!

Michelle was a joy to work with! My husband (ee!) and I are both awkward turtles in front of the camera. We were really nervous about taking photos and portraits, but Michelle made it so comfortable and fun. The photos were beautiful and we are so pleased with how they turned out. She captured so much happiness and we are so glad we had the privilege to have her as our photographer.

Michelle is such a talented photographer and a pleasure to work with! We are still awaiting our final wedding photos but I couldn’t wait any longer to review her because we just loved working with her! We did our engagement shoot with her, which she made so much fun. It feels a little awkward to be in front of the camera as a couple, but she knew just how to shake that awkwardness and produce beautiful pictures. She also worked really well with our dog. My husband and I had the best experience with Michelle! We did an engagement & elopement shoot, which I highly recommend. The engagement shoot was tons of fun and it was nice to her to know her before the elopement. Her photos are so gorgeous, and we feel like she really captured our wedding in the perfect way. She is so fun and easy to work with. We'll definitely work with her again if we have any other special events we want captured.

Michelle was spectacular. Not only were her pictures of the day absolutely phenomenal (beautiful, perfectly captured all moments, incredible lighting), but a consummate professional throughout the entire experience. Michelle was amazing!!! She made my husband and I feel very comfortable. We did our engagement photos with her a few months before the wedding and I’m so happy we did because it was a perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other. My husband and I can be a little awkward when taking pictures, but her process invited us to just be ourselves. She has a great personality and is very easy going. During the planning process, she was organized and professional which made it easy for me. AMAZING!! loved that we could customize a package and an engagement shoot was included. We got married during COVID and she was so flexible and helpful through our many venue changes and spoke with me multiple times to help me make all the decisions. She was fabulous on the day of and we were so happy to share our day with her. And the photos turned out stunning, absolutely great quality, colors, and shots overall. Would highly recommend her!!

My husband and I are beyond grateful to have had Michelle as our photographer during our elopement at San Francisco City Hall. We didn't have any engagement photos taken so we didn't know what to expect and we were a bit nervous. Michelle put us at complete ease! Michelle is an absolutely fantastic photographer! We chose Michelle after she offered to personally meet with us to discuss our vision and make sure we would feel comfortable working with her. Not only is Michelle's work beautiful and accurately captures us as a couple (but only our good sides), she is a joy to work with. I can sometime be uncomfortable in front of a camera but Michelle had lots of prompts and other ways to make taking staged photos feel (and look) natural. Michelle is a complete professional. She always had a great attitude, worked well with our families, and made sure we got the pictures we want to remember our special day. If you're lucky enough to get married when Michelle has availability, you should book her immediately. This is one choice that you won't have to think twice about.

If you look at Michelle's photos either on this site or her own, they speak for themselves. But won't they won't tell you is how Michelle made the whole process so easy and FUN for the two of us. She was very flexible and helped us pick a time and location for our engagement shoot (she had great suggestions), met with us to go over what we wanted, did a site visit to the venue to scope out good shots, and was a great partner on the day of the wedding who made it fun and totally stress free. We had never done professional photography before so we were worried about it being awkward, but Michelle made it feel totally natural and had us smiling and laughing the whole time. I could go on, but here's the gist. If you hire Michelle, you'll love your photos, and you'll love the process of getting them too.

Not only is Michelle an incredible photographer, but she's a Godsend to anyone who is overwhelmed by the wedding planning. She calmed us, kept us organized, was with us every step of the way, and is really just a great person to be around. Most importantly, her work is stunning. She really captured the spirit of our personalities and who we are as a couple. Which is not easy, since my husband rarely has his eyes open in pictures and I can’t sit still longer than a minute. Her work has this incredible way of highlighting the focal point by contrasting environmental color and light. We didn’t even need a videographer; Michelle captured every moment we wanted so elegantly.

I am so happy we choose her as a photographer for our wedding day. From day one she was organized, responsive and caring. The photos were amazing and captured the feel of our outdoor/farm wedding perfectly. I wish I was independently wealthy so I could hire her for all our family events and holidays.

I highly recommend Michelle to capture your special day! She is a true professional to work with and has such a beautiful eye. Not only is she super responsible, but also a joy to work with. She is the happiest vendor we worked with and is truly excited for you on your big day. That kind of positivity is infectious and who wouldn't want to be around that? Photography was a big priority for me, since we decided not to hire a videographer. Out of the 4 photographers that we interviewed, Michelle stood out. She went the extra mile in showing her care for us as clients. She sent us a thank you gift for meeting her, and a welcome packet once we signed the contract. I love how organized she was and she kept to all her deadline promises, which made the planning process a breeze. The one critique I would give is we fell a bit behind schedule the day of the wedding, which took up some dancing time and we weren't able to be a part of the cocktail hour with friends, but that is always bound to happen and other factors were in play (such as coordinating large family group shots). This could also be because the first look took longer, or because the speeches were way longer than anticipated! All in all, Michelle was a great photographer and she captured every important shot that I had requested. She is excellent at capturing candids that show true emotion, which is not easy to do! I got so emotional reliving our wedding when looking through the finished photos. I will for sure cherish my wedding photos for the rest of my life.

Background: I am the mother of the Bride and suggested Michelle to my daughter. Rarely does she listen to me, this time she did, how wise she was. Bride and I have suffered through too many Saturdays to tolerate a cookie cutter wedding. There was something about Michelle's work that we each liked. It was confirmed the minute we met her. MIchelle captured the fun and love of the day. Everyone relaxed around her, she came up and introduced herself and made herself welcome. She has a degree in art from UC Berkeley, a background that makes it natural for her to structure gorgeous photographs of groups. We have some breath taking original shots of the bridal party that make me want to cry. (with joy) Our family shots, show a happy family, well framed, perfect coloring and lighting. (Even us chubby folks.) Her work is more than I could have imagined. A brilliant and talented woman, we were so fortunate to have hired her.

Michelle is such a special and talented person. My husband and I fell in love with Michelle's talent and personality. I am incredibly awkward in front of a camera and Michelle somehow managed to tame it. She is very thoughtful and makes you feel like all her focus is on you and your big day. Michelle was an absolute godsend for our last minute wedding at San Francisco City Hall. Without a ton of time to plan, she helped us think about the kind of photos we'd want, including which family pics to capture, how to pose, and how to loosen up to get even better pictures! Her pre-wedding survey was incredibly thorough and had many questions I would never have thought of, but which ensured our pictures turned out perfect. On the day of, Michelle was more than prepared, knowing names of family members and having a game plan in her head of what order she'd photograph in, in which parts of City Hall. She even brought props with her to capture pictures of our rings in gorgeous matching boxes! I was shook. Every aspect of working with her was easy breezy, from planning, to day-of, to payment, to receiving our photos later. I know these will be pictures we save and treasure forever. Michelle is amazing! My fiance and I are having a destination wedding, but wanted some engagement photos to reflect our life together in California without breaking the bank. When I came across Michelle's work on Instagram, I knew she was our girl. From our first emails, she was personable, professional and full of great ideas! And she was super excited for us to bring our dog along to the shoot as well -- a plus for crazy dog people like us! When the original location for our shoot was closed, Michelle was flexible, and even let us drag her on a hike to one of our favorite spots on the coast. Michelle was the best engagement photographer we could have asked for! Before our shoot, she was very communicative and thorough- asking all the right questions to make sure she captured exactly what we were looking for in our photos. She also provided great recommendations for locations (we had our photos taken in Wine Country, and she knew which places allowed photography and the places that photographed best). The day of was such a wonderful experience! She was so fun and easygoing, and it felt like a close friend was taking our pictures. It was not remotely awkward or uncomfortable (which can happen during photo shoots). She made both my fiancée and I feel at ease. We received our edited photos within two weeks, just as she promised. And the photos are absolutely breathtaking! If we were getting married on the West Coast, we would have her photograph our wedding in a heartbeat.
