Michelle Behre Photography

te pleasure to work with. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, confident, and completely at ease throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Michelle captured every moment beautifully. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to document both the big moments and the candid in-between moments was truly incredible. Looking through our sneak peeks brings us right back to the joy and emotion of the day and we can not wait to see the rest of our photos and albums. Beyond her talent as a photographer, Michelle is simply a wonderful person. She was organized, calming, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure our day was perfect. We are so grateful to have had her as part of our wedding and will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. If you’re looking for a photographer who is exceptionally talented and an absolute joy to work with, Michelle is the best choice you can make.

le is incredible, a visionary, doesn’t miss a shot. We’d have her a million times over. Thank you Michelle for helping make our JW Marriott Essex House New York and Tavern On The Green wedding weekend even more meaningful.

mmediately at ease and prompting us to book with her. When we met with Michelle for our engagement photo session, she helped us get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day; she has a warm personality but is clear with her objective. When the wedding day came, she was extremely supportive by adjusting the veil in every photo to get the perfect shots. Michelle even ran ahead of schedule, saving us time and allowing for some buffer in between the ceremony and the reception. Her second photographer, Michelle, was also great. Michelle has a fast turnaround and a team (shoutout Francesca) to also help guide through the photo album process, with her team even helping us with photo albums for each set of parents. We cannot recommend Michelle enough!!

er I had questions about photography or completely unrelated wedding details, she was always there with advice, reassurance, and genuine support. She even connected me with other incredible vendors, which made planning so much easier. When wedding stress started to creep in, Michelle became the person I turned to. She always knew exactly what to say and somehow had a way of making everything feel manageable. Her kindness, patience, and calming presence are qualities that simply can't be taught. On our wedding day, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely phenomenal. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, kept everything running smoothly, and were incredibly attentive to every little detail. They captured every special moment while making the experience feel effortless and fun. The list could truly go on and on about how amazing Michelle is. She is not only unbelievably talented but also one of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond, make you feel completely at ease, and capture your day more beautifully than you could have imagined, look no further. Hiring Michelle was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough. Thank you for everything Michelle, you gave us memories we'll cherish for a lifetime!

Not only is her communication skills top-notch which is extremely important in regards to a wedding vendor, but she planned a phenomenal timeline for the day of, was very organized, and had a fully thought out shot list that her and I collaborated on for the day of to ensure that she met my vision. Looking back now, Michelle spearheaded the entire day as far as the timeline and scheduling goes. I completely underestimated the role she had in my wedding planning and I’ll forever be grateful for her level of effort. Beyond that she kept the vibes amazing for the day all while keeping us on time and moving along. Thanks to Michelle she not only executed my vision but made my wedding day and engagement photos look like Vogue magazine editorial worthy- words of a fellow coworker who saw my photos I posted on social media. Everyone in my life who saw my photos said my wedding and engagement photos were the best they’ve seen. Not only is Michelle‘s Talent top level, her heart is pure gold and she’s a phenomenal human being that genuinely cares not only about the pride she takes in her work, but how you feel as a bride and your vision for the photos. Michelle is going places and to say I had a photographer who worked with a New Jersey housewife is pretty darn cool. The level of effort didn’t just stop leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding, she also took me out for coffee weeks after the wedding to touch base with me to know my thoughts and to make sure I was happy with the photos. That level of effort and genuine care and pride is very rare and hard to find. As someone who worked in TV and production, Michelle is top talent but what you don’t see in the industry is her pure heart, passion, and care. That I can guarantee and that is something you want when it comes to the most special day of your life. Please, if there’s anything you take from this review I hope that it's Michelle is the girl for you. I have a few regrets regarding my wedding day but I can tell you Michelle is what I'm most grateful for. Photos are probably THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of your wedding, its what you'll have forever. Thank goodness I got lucky with finding Michelle Behre.

ing. I highly recommend Michelle and her team for your wedding

s so accommodating throughout the entire process, which made a big difference on a busy day. It actually snowed on our wedding day, and Michelle was outside with us in the cold without hesitation, making sure she captured every moment. She truly went above and beyond, including literally driving us in her own car to keep the day running smoothly. That kind of care is rare and meant so much to us. Her turnaround was fast, her pricing was more than fair, and the photos turned out beautifully. We’re so grateful we had Michelle with us and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only talented, but genuinely cares about her couples.

us feel truly special every step of the way. We love her editorial photography style, and she brought that vision to life so beautifully in both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Our engagement shoot throughout NYC was not only stunning but also so much fun! Michelle is so creative and constantly brings fresh, outside-the-box ideas that made the experience feel effortless and exciting. She went above and beyond for us in ways we didn’t even expect, always making sure every detail was perfect and every moment felt meaningful. We are beyond grateful to have worked with her and can’t wait to start designing our wedding album together. Michelle is incredibly talented, deeply invested in her couples, and someone we couldn’t recommend more highly!

as patient (especially with our large hyper families, this was not an easy task), listened to us with an open heart and truly brought so much warmth and light to our rainy wedding day. She is beyond talented, and takes the time and effort to get to know you as a couple and truly make your dream come to life. We received our sneak peaks on our honeymoon and were blown away being able to relive the magic and love we felt that day that she perfectly brought to life through her photography! On a personal level, Michele is down to earth, kind, and as a bride, makes you feel like you have a friend and shoulder to lean all day. She truly is such a rare gem with such an eye in capturing magical moments! We cannot thank her enough for all of the hard work and dedication she put into to making our wedding day so special!

y. She went above and beyond, sending us sneak peeks the very next night, delivering our full gallery incredibly fast, and even surprising us with an Instagram reel that captured the emotion of the day perfectly (and had us in tears all over again!). The photos are stunning, and our friends and family cannot stop raving about them. We are so happy we chose Michelle and would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, thoughtful, and professional photographer.

n all of our favorite people and best moments of the day. We love looking back on our day and we are beyond grateful we booked Michelle and got to experience her talent! She was so easy to work with, super responsive, gave us advice based on her own experience and provided recommendations for other vendors to work with, and is such a fun bubbly person we enjoyed so much! She is kind and I’d recommend her to everyone!

oot, to the planning process, to the wedding day, Michelle's professionalism was outstanding. Not only did Michelle organize a timeline for the day based on so many moving pieces, she customized the day for us to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. She was also super flexible with last minute changes that were out of our control and had to be made. Guests at the reception raved about having the photographer in on the action, especially on the dance floor, because it made them feel valued as part of the experience. I cannot recommend Michelle enough!

eas on what type of style we were going for. The sneak peek photos came back within 24 hours of our event and looked amazing! We cannot recommend Michelle more!

n track throughout the entire day. She was so easy to work with, organized and thorough but most importantly was focused on two things: making sure the memories were captured and that my husband and I enjoyed our day. She constantly was checking in with us to make sure we were capturing the moments, making sure we were comfortable and just throwing out some additional ideas as we got more comfortable. I think the best & biggest thing - we got sneak peaks the very next day (and I know this can't be promised, as it wasn't due in our contract for the next week!) but that was so appreciative. We were able to snuggle up on the beach just the two of us the next day and take in the memories which was so remarkable. I cannot wait to get the rest of the session back as the sneak peeks were SO GOOD.

t cake cutting pictures) and was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We just received our full gallery and could not be happier. Michelle captured all of special moments and we highly recommend!

throughout the process. We hired Michelle for both our welcome dinner and wedding day. While her assistant handled the welcome dinner and was super kind, we’re still waiting to see those photos. On our wedding day, Michelle was attentive and made sure to capture all the special moments. Her editing style is gorgeous, and she really listened to what I wanted. One hiccup was that my husband felt her assistant rushed through his groomsmen getting ready photos, and he missed out on some shots he wanted. Thankfully, Michelle addressed this issue later on. We’ve just received our sneak peek, and the photos are stunning!

d professionalism made the choice to book her a no-brainer. She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session in NYC and even stopped traffic just so we could get the perfect shot. Leading up to the wedding she was so communicative, and made sure we had every shot outlined. Michelle not only communicated with me, but with all my vendors and even went as far as going to the venue to scope out all the shots. The day of the wedding Michelle was prompt, candid and an actual dream to work with. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else shoot our special day. To top it all off, Michelle sent us sneak peeks the day after the wedding and had the full gallery weeks later. Her timely manner was unheard of and I cannot recommend her enough!!! She really goes above and beyond and her talent and professionalism is unmatched.

ontagious enthusiasm early in our relationship - her deep experience shooting at our wedding venue pushed things over the top. On our wedding day, she and her team were professional, patient (but also kept order), and knew all the right angles. Following the wedding, she turned around a quick 100+ photo gallery for family friends and several Instagram reels, which were incredibly appreciated. Thanks again Michelle - Jess and Ethan

enal job with her team is an understatement. She calmed my nerves, worked with a tight timeline, directed family and friends as needed, and took the most stunning photos of every detail. To any bride looking for photography, stop your search. You will be in the BEST hands with Michelle. 🤍

al… like nothing else matters. Her photography style is everything we ever dreamed of: romantic, dreamy, light and airy. She went above and beyond our expectations. Talent and professionalism at its finest. It truly was all about the bride and groom - what we wanted and wished for. Everyone needs to make Michelle Behre Photography a must on their wedding planning. We cannot wait for our lives to cross paths again and be photographed by Michelle again.

ahead of booking to understand my vision and what kind of shoot we were looking for. Scheduling her was a seamless experience, and shooting was wonderful. She truly captured the essence of our relationship and the ambiance of our chosen location (a swanky, vintage cocktail bar). I've only seen our sneak peeks, but so far we are thrilled with the shots. Highly recommend her!

e past the hours agreed to, she graciously offered to stay for an extra hour for an extremely reasonable rate.

t the perfect shots, even through the July heat, and took the time to make sure my now-husband and I were kept hydrated throughout the photo taking. I highly recommend Michelle as she is attentive, extremely talented, and our wedding photos came out so beautifully. Our family and friends have been raving about the photos, and we couldn't agree more. Nothing but great things to say about Michelle!

eautifully. She is also so good in directing how to pose and where to stand so there will be no awkward pictures at all. I am so so happy we chose Michele for our wedding. She is worth every penny. We loved every single picture we have gotten back. I highly recommend getting her services. You will not be disappointed.

g exactly what they dream of... & then provides such stunning work!!!! Grateful we found Michelle!

portunity to work with Michelle. I will cherish these photos forever!

pose and adjusted us as needed in order to create the perfect picture. When we received the final photo gallery back from her, I could not help but gasp in awe of how absolutely beautiful the photos were! It was like something out of a fairytale. The attention to detail and editing style are unmatched. She is not only a wedding photographer, but a true artist. I HIGHLY recommend working with Michelle!

Michelle and her colleague Rachel made a perfect schedule to ensure we got all the shots in our details without any compromising. We had a large (and rowdy) team of a wedding party, but both Michelle and Rachel kept everyone in line and on schedule. Michelle was professional, organized, kind and a great energy to have around! Her work is simply breathtaking and we cannot thank her enough for capturing our day! ❤️

thankfully, available on our day!! Michelle, jumped right in without hesitation and immediately took all my worries away with her bubbly personality and professionalism. From inception, Michelle went over each and every single detail, was early to meet us at the hotel, was great at being flexible with finding spots to shoot, and most importantly, the photos she captured were nothing short of perfect for our special day! Michelle is simply perfect!

e is so sweet and gently directed us how to pose both as guests and the bride/groom. She is the best dress fluffer, and her images are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much, Michelle, for capturing memories that will last forever!

ring all the details and memorable moments from the beginning in prep to the reception. The BEST!

ng her energy was contagious, she was helpful in explaining her process & what the experience would be like working together, and it was clear how passionate she is about photographing people’s special moments. We received endless compliments from our guests about how KIND our photographer was & how she managed to capture every moment & every photo opp so seamlessly. She was crucial in helping me with my day of timeline to ensure we were on schedule, got the photos I wanted, and coordinated with all of the other vendors so they were aligned as well. On the day of she was a force in the best way possible! She kept the day running smoothly, her and Rachel captured every moment - even the ones I wasn’t aware of! - and were true professionals when it came to working with a 16 person bridal party, 30+ immediate family members, almost 200 guests and multiple different vendors. Patience but with enough authority to keep things moving. Now, how can I not mention THE PHOTOS. Our sneak peaks are absolutely stunning! Michelle easily coached us through posing so that we looked natural in front of the camera. The photo’s are beautiful, light, and romantic which was 100% the feeling I wanted captured from our wedding day. We will have these memories to cherish forever thanks to Michelle! THANK YOU!!

ole process, which can be super awkward. I can't imagine having anyone else to go through this process with. Once we got the photographs back, our friends and families were AMAZED by all of the pictures. Michelle was able to get all of the best moments of the day, including some great candid photos of our guests during the reception having a great time. My husband and I were both running around the reception the whole time, so it was great to be able to see those pictures of our friends and family enjoying the party as much as we were. We would 10000% recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a photographer for any and every event. She really is the best!

ish them for a lifetime. Of Michelle's many outstanding attributes, including her supreme photography skills and authentic personality, her attention to detail stands out. Not only did she capture all of the details of the invitation suite and table scape, but she also capturing both staged and candid shots of every single guest in attendance. No one was missed! She surprised us with some amazing aerial shots taken from the upstairs window. We are incredibly thankful that she joined us for the special day! I recommend to everyone and anyone!

s how to pose for photos! I would definitely recommend anyone to hire Michelle as your photographer! =)

hoto shoot work for you and your needs and that’s important in a photographer. The photos came out beautiful with a romantic feel that is my aesthetic. Great experience

t that allows her to capture stunning photos. We thought we were hiring just a photographer but Michelle ended up effortlessly guiding us through our entire wedding planning process. She went above and beyond in helping us prepare for our day by giving us insight into things we never would’ve even thought about if it wasn’t for her such as a timeline for the day and little (but super important) details. I can’t rave enough about Michelle and the amazing service she offers as a photographer for your wedding or really any event or shoot you might be looking to hire her for. She captured our day to absolute perfection and if we were to do it all again, we’d pick Michelle again and again!

f she made us comfortable throughout the session, not to mention our photos came out beautiful. Highly recomment

er fun to be with as well as easy to work with. Every picture we wanted was noted and addressed, her list was impressively detailed. Much to my surprise, Michelle was also a great resource helping us plan our big day, guiding us towards some random things we hadn’t thought about. Every part of our experience working with Michelle made us feel so special and thanks to her we have beautiful photos documenting our engagement and, most importantly, our wedding day. Love you, Michelle!

ding all little details like my brand of dress and my husband's cufflinks, etc.) with us before the big day, but was very open to feedback during the actual shoots, so it felt adaptable and not too rigid. She gives great direction without being "pushy," so everyone always feels comfortable and at ease while she's taking the more formal photos. In addition to that, she is so adept at getting those great candids, which turned out to be some of my favorite photos from the evening! Last but certainly not least, she just takes incredible photographs. I am beyond thrilled with how our wedding images came out, and I can't tell you how much (unprompted) feedback I got from guests at the wedding who not only said how stunning our portraits were, but Michelle also managed to get some amazing photos of our guests that they can now cherish. If I had to do the wedding over and over, I would choose Michelle every time!!

ding us to make sure we had the day we envisioned and everything went smoothly. For our engagement shoot, she gave us a few options and we chose a local place outdoors. We had to reschedule multiple times for rain and Michelle was so flexible with her and our schedules. Having different backdrops and textures was something we wanted and she had so many different perspectives in her photos...it was hard to even chose a favorite! For our wedding day, I made a mistake on the timeline of the day and Michelle seamlessly reworked the entire wedding day schedule and made me feel so relaxed and at ease. Other compliments I have about Michelle are that she worked so well with our videographer and other vendors and her presentation for her photo reveal was above and beyond. She also went above and beyond scouting out the wedding venue and reaching out to our other vendors to create our timeline for the wedding day. She was always communicating with us throughout the entire process and she just has an all around genuine and amicable personality! Our wedding would not have been the same without her there and five stars truly isn’t enough to give her.
