She turned a stressful experience into a effortless one. She is very easy to work with and I never felt like I couldn’t depend on her. We ended up having our outdoor wedding/wedding photos during a HEAT ADVISORY! Yikes! But Michelle was there keeping everyone calm, making us look great, and making sure we stayed cool! She helped make our wedding day an absolute breeze, and gave us beautiful images to treasure forever. My husband generally dislikes having his photo taken, and doesn’t typically like looking at the photos that are taken of him. But after working with Michelle, he had nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and more importantly, he actually likes the photos of himself from our wedding day—a huge accomplishment! Her calm demeanor, organization, creativity, and fun-loving spirit were exactly what we needed in the midst of all the normal nerves that come with getting married. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous about how our photos might turn out, as we had to move our ceremony indoors because it was downpouring on our wedding day, so we couldn’t go outside to get those beach shots we had originally planned for (thanks, Mother Nature). But even with this, Michelle had already scouted out the venue ahead of time just in case, finding lovely little spots to take indoor shots, and she captured some of the most beautiful images—among them some stunning photos of us standing in front of floor to ceiling windows, with the rain pounding against the windows and swirling around on the beach behind us. My photos are perfect. They capture our love, they capture the fun of the day, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for any photo needs.

Our engagement session, while not ideal in terms of temperature (I think it was 3 degrees that day) was fantastic. The entire time Michelle gave us tips and helped to ease our nerves. She was extremely accommodating and helped us get the shots we really wanted. The photos from this session were edited and delivered very quickly and they were amazing! Once the wedding planning went in to high gear, Michelle was a constant source of information and ideas. She basically planned our day! Michelle literally walked us through everything from taking our photos to cutting the cake...and our photos are absolutely amazing!!! We can't possibly speak high enough of her talent and professionalism. Everything was perfect and we will most certainly reach out to her again for future photography needs!

Even before our big day, our engagement pictures were a big hit and we used them at the wedding and for our first Christmas cards! Long Story: My husband (then fiance) and I were having a hard time trying to pick a photographer for our wedding because we lived in Indiana and our wedding was going to be in NJ. We were in a pickle because we knew Michelle Cox through friends and family and we knew she was a fantastic photographer and there was no doubt we would have wanted her to do our wedding pictures if we were tying the knot in Indiana. Not knowing what she would say, we asked Michelle if she would be willing to travel with us to NJ for our big day. She agreed right away and it worked out better than I could have imagined!
