ay. As our wedding day was approaching, Michelle helped us come up with a detailed timeline for the day and asked our preferences for any photos we wanted. A few days before, we realized our dream of an outdoor wedding wasn't going to happen and we needed to move our ceremony inside. Michelle was integral in not only helping us change our plan up last minute but also keeping us calm! It was so nice to have her there for us! She really captured the Cape Cod esthetic we were looking for in our photos and they all turned out great! Definitely recommend!

It was so special to be able to see some of the photos day-off to share with family and friends. I really appreciated how communicative Michelle was over text and email. It made the whole process of sharing photos seamless! If you’re considering booking Michelle for an engagement shoot or for your wedding, take this as a sign to do it. She’s more than a vendor — her thoughtfulness and consideration for her clients are completely unmatched and her photos are ones we will cherish forever.

e camera and the photos were absolutely stunning. Leading up to our wedding day she was super helpful in providing answers to questions and had a detailed timeline which was extremely helpful for overall coordination. She also traveled to the North Shore to see our venue since it was her first time shooting there, which we greatly appreciated. On our wedding day it was pouring rain as we were planning to do first look outside and Michelle came up with a plan B (and plan C), thinking quickly and remaining completely calm and relaxed. The sky ended up clearing up and we went back to the original plan, which Michelle orchestrated perfectly despite all the last minute switching based on weather. Michelle kept us on the timeline and we felt like we got all of the photos (both candid and formals) without missing out on dancing time at our wedding. She has such a positive attitude and made everyone so comfortable in front of the camera. Michelle sent over sneak peeks so quickly and we are in love with them! She is beyond talented and we are so lucky to know Michelle and have had her photograph our wedding, would highly recommend!

Michelle’s professionalism, sincerity, and overall good vibes. The pictures speak for themselves. Breathtakingly stunning use of color and lighting while still maintaining natural beauty. There is something so heartwarming about the way she captures your most genuine and beautiful self. She captures the small moments. The moments when your new spouse tells you how beautiful you look and you can’t help but smile. The moments you’ll remember again when you look back on each picture. The moments that make you remember your wedding day as if it was yesterday. But even beyond her stunning work, Michelle is the friend you didn’t know you needed from the initial consultation. Genuinely friendly and warm, she immediately makes you feel comfortable and as if you’d been friends since middle school. She was the person you felt comfortable asking your questions to. I sent her emails about what colors would work together for flowers and bridesmaid dresses, other emails about day of questions; she answered each email promptly and with sincerity. A large part of me is sad I don’t have an excuse to email her anymore, but knowing Michelle, upon reading this review, will send me an email telling me I can email her anytime about anything (and she would mean it)! Lastly, let me express my gratitude for her professionalism. She sets realistic expectations and gives real guidance on how to make your wedding day special and efficient simultaneously. We have more than enough photos to last a lifetime and my husband and I still had time to relax during cocktail hour knowing all of the photos we wanted were taken. I think you can tell that I could go on for days with nothing but praise, but I will end with one more thought. After all of the stress, drama, and whirlwind of your wedding day has passed, Michelle’s pictures remind you why it was all worth it and that your new life together with your partner beings in stunning beauty.

to know Michelle before we did our engagement shoot. Immediately we felt as if we knew Michelle for years. She is professional, kind and above all else truly gets to know you as a couple and ensures that she captures that in her images. She makes you feel so extremely comfortable when shooting with her and as a result, we found our pictures to truly represent us as a couple. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and when rescheduling our date, we had one requirement - Michelle had to be available. We did not want to have our wedding without her as our photographer. Michelle is an amazing photographer and person and the second thing we say to recently engaged couples that we know after congratulations is “use Michelle Dunham.” We feel so lucky to not only call Michelle our wedding photographer but now our friend. en helps calm your wedding nerves! On the day of the wedding she immediately knew all of the best angles, spots & poses based off of where the sun was all afternoon. She made us laugh so our pictures weren't awkward or stiff looking too (which happens a lot for my husband and I). friend during the whole process. COVID put a wrench in our original plan (like most 2020 brides!) and Michelle was there to help throughout the whole thing. She was always letting us know she was there and was always asking what she could do to help. When our wedding day finally came, it ended up being a cloudy, rainy day. Michelle worked with our wedding planner to make sure we have many back up plans and told me not to worry and that they had everything under control which was a HUGE relief. The day of could not have gone better. Between her and her wonderful second photographer, she captured the day perfectly. Our pictures are absolutely STUNNING. d every second of it. Then came the coronavirus and we changed our minds what felt like dozens of times and Michelle was there supporting and guiding us along the whole time. On our COVID wedding day in June, not only did Michelle still come out of the way to take “getting ready” pictures but also drove an hour to our ceremony spot where all of our family and friends barely even noticed she was there. She blended in so well and didn’t take away from our ceremony at all! Long story short Michelle is an amazing photographer but an even better person. We love every single one of our engagement and wedding pictures (that came in the fastest turnaround time of all time) but we’re even more honored to now call Michelle one of our friends and can’t wait to do it all over again next year without corona! We are forever grateful for her!

She took the time to visit our venue, speak with our other vendors, scope out the ideal backdrops, and learned our environment prior to our wedding day.
