I was nervous picking a photographer but was so happy we decided to work with Michelle. We really liked her artistic style and immediately felt like she understood what we were looking for when we first talked on the phone. We felt like her pricing was fair and really enjoyed getting to do an engagement shoot to meet her before the wedding. She was super responsive throughout the process, while also being relaxed and flexible - keeping me calm and never making me feel pressured! I really appreciated how she helped us plan our day-of timeline and how she shared other wedding albums to help us hone our photo ideas and ceremony seating plan. We also SO appreciated that she was willing to stay late at the wedding to capture a special moment with my grandma. In addition to Michelle, we also loved working with her husband for videography (a last minute addition!). It was so seamless being able to work with them together, and they were both so calm amidst the weather challenges of our wedding day (and sneaking in some photos with our high-energy doggo). Finally, we were so excited to receive a sneak preview of our photos and video really quickly after the wedding. We are looking forward to seeing the full album but had so much fun getting a sneak peak just a few days after the wedding. For anyone considering working with Michelle and/or her husband, go do it now!! We are so glad we did!

At the start of our planning process, my husband and I had decided that one of the most important aspects of our wedding was going to be the photographer. We spent hours discussing what we wanted, about how we needed both our essence and the essence of our day captured in an endless moment that we could share with our family forever. After being referred from another photographer, seeing her work and speaking with her on Zoom, we knew that Michelle was the perfect photographer for us. From our first conversation to planning for our engagement shoot, Michelle made sure that we were included in the process every step of the way. During our engagement shoot, we had been hoping and wishing for no rain and, of course, there was rain. Michelle worked with us to find the beauty in the rain and have fun despite damp hair and wet feet. After an hour or so of, literally, playing in the "rain", my husband and I got into the car and just smiled as we had never felt so comfortable in front of a camera and that we were truly happy with our time with Michelle, and that we couldn't wait to see the photos, hear about Michelle's trip to Spain, and spend our wedding day with her. Michelle was also extremely kind and helpful during the planning process. As I worked to create my day-of timeline, I reached out to Michelle to help me get a feel for how the day should flow, how I should calculate time, what time to be do the venue, etc. and was met with excitement to help navigate. My husband and I felt less stressed and more confident about our planning and preparation after speaking with Michelle and were able to create a comprehensive timeline for ourselves and those around us. When wedding day came, Michelle arrived with her second photographer and worked quickly to collect details and take lay flat photos prior to some "getting ready photos". Michelle worked quickly and diligently and she helped to ease some of the stress and nerves that had been swirling about the group that morning. At the venue, Michelle and Abby kept with the energy and helped to keep us moving and grooving - on top of that, Michelle is honestly one of the most chill people I know and if you need someone to add a layer a chill to your day, hire Michelle!! Aside from my husband, Michelle was the person I spent most of the day with and it was truly like having another friend around all day. Michelle works with you to create the shots that you want, to create the mood that you seek, and she gets to know you and your partner as well as what brought you together and got you to this point. Her work is impeccable and captures the moments that no one always pays attention to - for me, that's when everyone looks at the bride and no one takes a beat to look at the groom to see his reaction. While we've only worked with Michelle on our wedding only, I can see us working with her again in future not just for her work, but for who she is as a person.

Where do I even start? Michelle was top tier in our vendor list. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day she kept us laughing and relaxed behind the camera. The actual wedding day was an absolute weather nightmare with pouring rain, thunder/lightening and HAIL! Michelle didn’t even blink, set up a gorgeous area in the tent and got us our most treasured photos to date. You’d never know how bad the weather was if you saw our photos. Not only was she incredible but she gave us 50 photos as our “sneak peak” 3 days after the wedding which such a fun surprise! Your wedding day is such a blur and to have captured those moments for us so soon, made our honeymoon so special!! I’m sad our wedding is over because now I don’t have an excuse to be around Michelle and feel so comfortable behind a camera! ❤️ we feel so fortunate to have worked with her and I’d recommend her business to anyone asking!

Absolutely amazing! Michelle and her team (we did her package that included a second shooter and video) were fantastic communicators, kind, talented and zero stress. From our first introductory call through the wedding day, we did not have a single hiccup. Michelle is a pro and knows what she is doing, but she is also open to ideas. I can't stress how important it is to be surrounded by calm and positive energy on your wedding day. Because of Michelle, I was able to completely let go of the details, live in the moment and just enjoy the day. My now husband (who usually doesn't enjoy having his picture taken and doesn't care much about pictures in general) was going on and on about how comfortable he was having them there throughout the day, and once we got the pictures back was also raving about how good they turned out. From the moment Michelle and I spoke on the phone I knew I liked her vibes. She was up front with her style, pricing and expectations from us. We had our engagement photo shoot with her in the spring. My husband and I can both feel awkward in front of the camera but Michelle was absolutely fantastic in getting us to loosen up and enjoy the shoot and I immediately framed my favorite ones. For our wedding we had a few phone calls leading up to the date and went over everything and hatched out a plan. She offered her insight and advice where needed and took what we wanted and made it work for everyone. When my fiancé and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding we knew we wanted someone who didn’t focus so much on the standard posed photography. After talking to a few different people on the phone I came across Michelle on the knot and she replied very promptly and we set up a phone consult. We knew right away that we were on the same page and that her style would fit exactly what we wanted. We recently had our engagement shoot, and the entire experience was awesome! She allowed us to bring our kids (our dogs) and worked so well with us. Michelle made us feel like one of our friends was on the other side of the camera taking our photos, we were comfortable and it was just easy. We got our photos a few days later and it’s impossible to pick just a few that we love! She captured our vision and our personalities perfectly! Having Michelle as our photographer for our wedding was one of our best choices! We were told about Michelle by a stranger while out one day in Rhode Island and after having Michelle for our wedding, I now understand why this stranger was so compelled to tell us about her work! Throughout the process of meeting, engagement session, and then finally the wedding, Michelle went above and beyond and did everything to make us feel at ease, especially in front of the camera, to help capture our true selfs. Her attention to detail, creativity and overall photography style captured the special moments of our days in a unique, personal, and candid style. Michelle always took the time to get to know us as a couple throughout this process and was always available for all of my random questions, even though we were states apart. Michelle and her team were all fantastic on our big day and were very professional. We could not recommend Michelle more to any couple that is getting married!

We chose Michelle not only for her beautiful portfolio but also for her laid-back style. We first spoke with Michelle over the phone where she was exceptionally patient, answered all of our questions, and prompted us with some of her own. Based on our wedding plan and timeline, Michelle suggested which package would work best for us. At her suggestion, we decided to add on second photographer who was also wonderful. This dual photography worked well all day! Capturing both sides of the family, different angles, etc. Also at Michelle’s suggestion, we met about a month before to take practice photos (aka engagement photos) so that we would be comfortable on camera the day of. Side note – this is the best piece of advice we received throughout the entire wedding planning process -definitely take engagement photos as a “warm up”. From the engagement session pictures to the wedding, she never made us do any cheesy or forced poses; everything she captured felt natural. In fact, we barely knew she was with us during our first look. She captured the most beautiful moments throughout our entire wedding and focused on the parts that we asked her to focus on. While we were on our honeymoon, Michelle sent us a sneak peak of our photos to keep our relatives at bay! Just a month after our wedding, our full suite of photos were complete! Michelle picked out the best photos and organized them perfectly in albums on her website – this made it so easy to sort through! Additionally, she provided a USB of all of the photos she took that day as a keepsake.

After using several different photographers throughout our relationship, Michelle is by far the best. She perfectly captures the energy from the people she is shooting. To be honest, I was incredibly unhappy with my body at the time of our photo shoot and Michelle was able to create something that I can't stop smiling at. Her ability to capture the light in photographs is next to none. She is a true artist. We will definitely be using Michelle again. Michelle was extremely professional and helpful from day 1! When we met with her we instantly felt comfortable and knew she would capture our day just the way we envisioned. I feel so lucky that we got to work with Michelle and her assistant for our Jan wedding. She was on the ball for absolutely everything and made taking pictures in the cold and snow fun! She never gave me any grief about going outside to take snow pictures and had some fabulous poses. My husband and I found Michelle on the Knot and fell in love with her photos! When we booked her she was very so professional and informative. We opted out of doing an engagement shoot so Michelle had the wonderful idea to meet up before the wedding so we can all get to know each other. The day of our wedding was a breeze, Michelle and her assistant were very accommodating and made everyone feel comfortable. She did an excellent job organizing photos with our large wedding party of 18! She got all of the shots and we requested and then some. Our photos were given to us in a timely manner and they came better than I could have ever imagined!! Michelle has a great eye and her editing skills are fantastic! Michelle photgraphed our wedding last year. It's taken me a long time to write this, because I had very mixed feelings. While she was incredibly sweet, I was disappointed with the photos we ended up with. We got about 200 photos of our ceremony, most very far away and at awkward angles. After the ceremony, Michelle seemed lost and kept asking us where we would like to go to take photos and who we wanted in the photos. I had sent her detailed plans weeks before about the photos I wanted. We were at a beautiful inn on a lake with plenty of locations. I thought for sure she would direct us and take us to different spots to take pictures. Unfortunately, most of our photos with family and the wedding party were shot in the same spot on the deck. She also shot the photos with us on the steps and her below us- which made for some unflattering angles. Lastly, her assistant was incredibly unprofessional. She kept yelling at everyone to get our attention and continuously talked about how she didn't feel well and if she got dehydrated she would have a seizure. We still had a beautiful day, but if I could go back I would choose a different photographer.

Michelle was the perfect photographer for my husband and I’s wedding! Her photos have been so special to my husband and I and we cannot speak highly enough about Michelle's work! We wanted to meet any potential photographers in person to make sure they had the type of vibe we were looking for and to discuss their ability to snap shots of our dog, Harley, an all white husky! It must’ve been fate that we met Michelle because she was exactly what we were looking for. She was prepared, thoughtful, and funny right from our first meeting and she was very comfortable with our dog because she also owns a husky! Michelle was very available for questions and scheduling, and she was perfectly professional during the entire process. We scheduled our engagement shoot and she was prompt in arrival and ready to go. She took a variety of different shots that got to display Ryan and I’s personalities so well. She made us very comfortable which I found surprising because lovey dovey photos are not exactly our style! i was worried we would look rigid and awkward but thanks to Michelle, we were relaxed and calm to show our love for one another. I was so thrilled with how our photos for the engagement shoot turned out and I couldn’t wait for the wedding! I was especially happy with her quick turn around with the photos. I assumed I would have to wait a while because I’m sure editing is tough work but Michelle was quick without compromising quality! Michelle set up a phone meeting prior to the wedding to ensure she had all the details she would need to have a successful day! She was thorough with her questions about our family needs, our venue, and walked us through what we could expect of her throughout the day. This conversation made me feel very at ease. Michelle along with her videographer were prompt the day of and were able to snap all the shots we discussed as well as extra ones! She was flexible when some scheduling didn’t allow for photos we were hoping to take prior to the ceremony and she was very discreet in her photo taking all day long. I have been so surprised by the shots she got because I never seemed to notice her in that moment being around! Michelle was gracious enough to edit some photos from various points of the day and send them to us in a sneak peek! This has been so great for holding off all the people who have been demanding to see photos, but even more important, it has been so lovely for my husband and I to look at these together in the immediate weeks following the wedding. I just can’t say enough about Michelle’s quality of work, her thoroughness, her timeliness, and her personality as a photographer. Our day was so special and she was there to catch every important moment of it. We cannot thank her and her team enough, and we highly recommend her for photo and video services! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about working with Michelle as our photographer! She was extremely organized and great with communication during the planning process. I loved that she was able to take charge to get the family photos taken care of quickly, especially since we can have a bit of a rowdy, very chatty bunch. What I loved the most, however, was how Michelle was able to capture the purest moments of true love and happiness on our special day. I can describe Michelle in one word. PHENOMENAL! From the first meeting to our big day she was such a joy to work with. I cannot say enough how much I LOVE Michelle. From the moment we started emailing, I knew it was a perfect match. She did our engagement session and was very accommodating to drive to two different locations for us to get the shots we wanted. It was buggy and windy but she made it work! She was able to make us feel good about being silly in front of the camera. At our wedding, she kept me calm and gently reminded me to keep mingling and capturing the special moments. Michelle is an amazing choice of photographer! She just did an engagement session for my fiance and I, and the photos turned out much more beautiful than I ever expected! She was very open to traveling wherever we wanted to get the best shots, spent a good deal of time with us hiking to some lovely places, and even worked with our crazy dog to get him in some cute pictures! Where do I honestly start. I am the biggest pain in the butt when it comes to ANYTHING. Pictures, organizing stuff, you name it-I’m a pain. Michelle went above and beyond when it came to her services for us. She did our engagement photos and I knew it was a match. This is not just her job, this is her calling. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and I couldn’t say enough good things about her. The day of the wedding, it was DOWNPOURING-I reached out to her and I was beyond devastated. She immediately calmed me down, told me that we would make this work and we would do it together. She even offered to run around town and buy cute umbrellas so we would have them for outside pictures. Michelle, you were more then just a “photographer” you became a friend and you took the initiative to make me feel like this was more then a transaction for you. Thank you for every thing you did for me and my husband AND our guest! You are the bomb diggity!!

Michelle and I worked together many years ago and despite knowing one another better then her typical client, she remained extremely professional from day one. She is so, so talented in her work and her attention to detail will leave you in awe. My husband and I got married on a farm just over a year ago. Working from a blank slate, we had many personal touches to our wedding and Michelle captured every single one of them. Through all the planning and stress, Michelle was very open and easy to communicate with. I always knew I could count on hearing back from her on the same day, and most of the time within only minutes. She was honest and followed up on all of her promises. On my wedding day, Michelle helped immensely in keeping me calm and comfortable, and even reminded me to take my hair elastic off of my wrist minutes before walking down the isle! For me, little things like that will make a person and their passion for what they do stick out. I’m so thankful for Michelle and the gift of beautifully captured memories that she has given to us. Michelle was absolutely amazing! She photographed our wedding on September 1st and I cannot recommend her enough. She was incredibly accommodating and professional, making sure that we had all of the photos that we wanted while making sure that everyone was happy and that we could still enjoy time with family and friends. She made sure to be available to us for any questions and met us before the wedding so that we could get to know her and be more comfortable with each other. Michelle took the time to look at our ideas and poses and made sure to know exactly who was important to us. The day of the wedding she arrived early and really allowed us to do our thing getting ready while taking amazing pictures of all of the wedding party. During the ceremony (at the church) she was extremely respectful of the holy space while being able to capture all of our important memories. Taking pictures of the wedding party and family she was very efficient in making sure that we had all of the pictures we wanted but also making sure people had fun and let people leave as soon as photos were done so they could enjoy the cocktail hour. She was really very thoughtful and professional and really cared about making sure everyone had an amazing time. Her turn around time was excellent and the photos were amazing. She was able to really use light in an extraordinary way and capture just how happy we were on our big day. Michelle made sure to capture awesome candid photos of dancing and cake cutting and all of the fun we had at the reception and I really cant emphasize enough how amazing she was to work with and how awesome the quality of the photos were. Michelle did our engagement session that consisted of a very hot and humid hike through the woods to a waterfall, and it was amazing! She made me feel beautiful and comfortable, even though I was sweaty and swarmed by mosquitoes, and the pictures came out amazing. She gave us just enough direction and a lot of encouragement, and knew how to bring the breathtaking scenery in without having it steal the stage from us. At our wedding, I barely even noticed Michelle and her assistant were there. She captured such great moments from getting ready, both me and my bride tribe and my husband and his guys, taking advantage of our woodland and lakeside scenery again. I hate having my picture taken, but she made portraits and family photos a breeze, and we got done quickly so we could get back to the reception. Our album is filled with all the best memories from the best day of our life, and I am so glad we chose Michelle to capture those moments.

From the first day I meet with Michelle she made me feel like this was going to be a special day. I told her how I was actually really nervous and not excited about my big day, but she reassured me that my wedding day is about me and how I want it to play out; all she was there to do was to make me and my guests look good. Which is exactly what she did. She made everyone very comfortable and we all had so much fun the day of our wedding with Michelle and her shooting partner. It was like they were party of our party. I had sent her the pinterest board I created of pictures I wanted and we were able to get all of them! I can not day enough good things about Michelle! If I could do it all over again I would hire Michelle in a heartbeat!

If you deeply care about having beautiful, high quality photos on your wedding day, then I would absolutely hire Michelle. My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! We were lucky to have her take both our engagement photos in the fall with foliage and mountains, and our wedding photos in the summer by the beach. She is incredibly skilled at taking artistic photos (the photos of my flowers, dress, and rings are stunning). She is equally as good at taking candid photos, capturing raw emotion (from the expression on my husband’s face when I walked down the aisle, to an ecstatic child’s face on the dance floor). Michelle blended right into our wedding while keeping us completely on track the entire night, gently reminding us when it was time for important pictures that we requested. I highly recommend her to any bride and groom! Thank you so much for beautifully capturing our special day!

Truly the BEST EVER. Michelle was very professional and thorough through the entire planning process. The day of she blended right in and was very easy to work with! She was great at taking charge to arrange family and wedding party photos and had a great attention to detail. One thing I requested specifically was we had a lot of little details that I wanted her to capture, including my individual centerpieces which were a collection of antique oil lamps and glass bottles I had been collecting for 2 years leading up to our wedding. She captured details I didn't even notice the day of the wedding and it was great to be able to look back and view the things I had missed. She comes highly recommended by me! So thankful to have all of these memories captured forever <3
