Michelle was able to get inventive and creative photos while still capturing traditional poses for our mothers/grandparents. We were a bit nervous because my husband and I lived in MI (our wedding was in NC) and we were not able to meet her to do engagement photos. However, Michelle called us multiple times and made sure she captured the styles we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I wanted candid shots and my mother wanted formal family shots. She was able to combine what everyone wanted! When I received the photos (which only took like 1 week!!!)....my husband and I were BLOWN AWAY at the quality and variety of the photos. Michelle's assistant (I apologize of not being able to remember her name) was also very talented and got great photos of my husband and groomsmen! Michelle also gave us great DJ and hair/makeup artist references. We ended up hiring both of the people she recommended and they were amazing!! (FYI- Lenny Fritts was our DJ and Ginger Mullins was our hair/make up artist). Bottom line: If you need a flexible, reliable, TALENTED and hard-working photographer for your wedding...Michelle is it!

at I wanted in a photography package, but I found most of the times that photographers would not move things around or listen to what was important to me. I felt that I was just a walking bank to them, and that they didn't care if I hired them or not. Michelle was different from the get go. She offers a la carte pricing, which I found was better for my needs. She helped me understand the pricing of certain package items, and listened to me so she could figure out what I really needed. I really like Michelle's spirit when she is photographing you. You can tell she really loves what she does, but she also wants to make the pictures match your personality. I am so glad I found her. She is so professional, creative, and a real talent.

Neither my husband nor I like to be the center of attention so we were a little uncomfortable at the engagement shoot, but Michelle was so good at making us feel comfortable and she had the best ideas for what would make a good picture. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the pictures. They are perfect. She even captured special little moments between wedding guests that I never would have known about had she not captured them with her camera. es. Right when I saw those pictures I knew she was amazing! A few years later I got engaged and she was the first person I booked. Michelle communicated so well with us and used every idea we had. She wants your pictures to be perfect and how you want them. She has so many ideas of her own and all of them turnout great. Usually, when I look at other peoples wedding pictures all the pictures are just of the same people and they are all posing for the picture. With Michelle, she takes a picture of almost everyone and great action shots. She captures everything that happens and does an amazing job. Our engagement, bridal portraits and wedding pictures were AMAZING! People from our wedding and on facebook are still telling me how beautiful our pictures are and how great our photographer is. Her work is absolutely brilliant and she has an effortless ability to adapt to your style and your vision, whether it be artsy, classic, elegant, etc. It's hard not to get frustrated in the search for the perfect wedding photographer, what with the insanely high prices, hidden costs, and lack of availability, but Michelle was such an easy person to work with from the start and was willing to work within our budget. Part of our contract included an engagement photo session, which was very fun! My husband and I had never had professional photos taken, so we were a bit hesitant going into the shoot, but Michelle immediately put us at ease and took some of the most beautiful photos that we couldn't wait to share with our friends. She was even a calming presence for our hyper neurotic puppy, which allowed us to get the most adorable save-the-date shot! The photos Michelle took for our wedding were STUNNING! I'm not sure how she does it, but she alone managed to capture every single special moment of the night between not only my husband and me, but also among our family and friends. Her shots are so diverse, ranging in lighting and angle, and we are obsessed with every one of them! Every time we posed for pictures taken by family or friends, she was right behind them getting the shot too. She was very professional and kept us on schedule despite how hectic the day was, while also maintaining complete composure and keeping it fun and enjoyable for us and the wedding party. She also has this way of making you feel that your wedding is the most exciting one she has been to and really tries to make the photos unique to the couple and to the style of the wedding. Finally, as if she couldn't impress us any more, she had the finalized photos ready for us very soon after the wedding, which is pretty much unheard of in the wedding world. She is truly a rockstar! We were thrilled with the results and cannot wait to recommend her to other friends getting married in the Triangle Area!

. We did an engagement session in October before the ceremony in July, so we already a good rapport, but she's so easy to get along with, we'd have been fine no matter what. Michelle is one of the most artistic and expressive photographers we came across and she was so easy to work with. We love the resulting pictures and, frankly, enjoyed having her around on the day of! Her work speaks for itself. Also, she was affordable and definitely worth it. I hope we'll be able to work with her for future family shoots, too!
