only did the photographs come out beautifully, but they had a genuine smile on their faces the whole day and evening. Michelle and her husband truly enjoy what they do, and it was evident in how much fun they seemed to have while photographing our wedding day. They are both professional and genuinely good people. They made sure to capture all the photos that we wanted, and helped us to create photos that we didn't even know we needed! Neither my husband or I are used to being photographed often, but thankfully Michelle helped us to create some truly beautiful poses/photographs. It is a big task to capture such an important snap shot in a person's life, but Michelle and her husband seemed to do it without issue or reservation. I am looking forward to a time when we can utilize their services again!

We learned a lot about each other and shared fun stories. It never bothered me that we didn't get into too much details about the wedding because I knew I could trust her to do what she does best, and that's capture our special day. The day of the wedding Michelle was truly excited for us and helped ease my wedding day jitters. She was so patient with the whole wedding party (we all know that can be stressful) and she was able to get our family photos done quickly so our families could enjoy the reception. During our romantic photos our golf cart died and what does Michelle do, she tells us to hop out of the cart and finds this amazing area to take photos! During the reception her and our 2nd photographer made sure to take so many fun and creative photos. I don't think one guest was left out of any of the photos. When the wedding was over Michelle gave me the most special little gift. During the wedding she took several Polaroid photos. At the end of the night she gave them to me wrapped in twine with a flower. She said she knows her work takes some time to see so she wanted me to have something right away. This literally brought tears to my eyes because it was very thoughtful. When I got the photos after the wedding I couldn't wait to see Michelle's work. The photos turned out beautiful and I can't wait to display them in my home and give them to family. I still consider Michelle a friend and hope to work with her again someday either for a friends wedding, maternity photos or whatever else comes my way. Thank you Michelle. I am beyond pleased and blessed to have you capture my perfect day!

On the day of the wedding, Michelle made sure everyone was ready and where they needed to be in order to get the best photographs possible. Michelle had about 100 sneak peek photos up within a week after the wedding, and they are AWESOME. Michelle was so fun to work with, and a big reason why our wedding day was absolutely perfect.

Throughout the months prior to our wedding, Michelle was always so responsive and attentive to the little details. When our wedding day arrived, Michelle was such a breath of fresh air. She made my experience as a bride so incredibly amazing and I could not have imagined working with anyone else.

My husband and I were so amazed by the quality of the photos, we couldn't believe they were actually ours as they look like something from a magazine! Her work is incredible! Not only did we have so many photos to relive that day and treasure always, but the photos were just so beautiful and her eye is just phenomenal. My husband and I said to ourselves, "That's why we hired her!" We chose her in the beginning because her work was just so beautiful and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding photos. My husband is not a huge fan of taking photos, and he loved working with Michelle and her team. Additionally, we used Michelle Johnson Photography for our old-fashioned photo booth, and our guests had a great time with it! They gave each guest a copy of their photo strip (which made a great favor), and gave us an album and a digital copy of all of the pics at the end of the event. We will use Michelle Johnson Photography for all of our family photo needs. I wouldn't trust anyone else to capture these special moments!

so wanted to take pictures before my wedding, Pre-wedding romantics, and she hadn't done something like that before and just ROCKED it!! She took pictures of my fiancé (at the time) and I at the beach and brought her husband and daughter so I had a million pictures that are just amazing. Then she edited those and got all those back to me before my wedding the following week. At the wedding her and her daughter came and both photographed the big day so I had the most amazing pictures. She was so cute and nice and her daughter was so nice as well. She also had a surprise for me at the end of my wedding day and gave me a bunch of SUPER cute polaroids of my pictures at the beach and from my big day! She went above and beyond! I felt like we were best friends by the end of it all. I absolutely loved them and am recommending them to all my friends who are getting married in Southern California.

Her husband Mark is her partner in crime, as well as her daughter (who I hear takes amazing photos); and I can't forget about her son who handles their photobooth for events. Michelle really does have an amazing team and family. While on our first meeting with her, my fiance (now husband) and I had mentioned the idea of doing our engagement photos in San Francisco since that's were we got engaged. Michelle jumped right out of her seat and got so excited! Her and Mark love travelling and especially to San Francisco. Because of the tight budget I was on and the special recommendation from Jackie, Michelle contracted an amazing offer we could not refuse. It was everything I was looking for including engagement photos in The Bay with no travel fee charge. All I had to cover for them was flight and travel & food expenses around the city. It was a great deal I could not refuse. The engagement shoot in San Francisco was so much fun! Michelle has this youthful energy that really comes out in her photos. At one point, we were shooting on Lombard Street, where the proposal happened, and Michelle gets into the plant and tree area and starts to shoot with her camera. It's so fun and refreshing to see a photographer in their element just shooting away and having a good time. It's really obvious that Michelle loves what she does. We all had an amazing photo shoot and it really came out in our photos. As for the wedding day, Michelle and Mark were right on point. I could not have asked for a better set of photographers. They captured every single moment of my special day from the girls and I getting ready at the hotel, the surprise gift my husband gave me, all the way to our amazing reception. It was such a pleasure to work with Michelle Johnson Photography. She even had our proofs ready just as we were settling in after our honeymoon. I couldn't have asked for a better photography company.

One more thing, we chose the package that includes the wedding album (engagement session and also some canvases). I have never seen a more beautiful, professional album. ographers as if they were below her. Several of our guest were suprised when they found out that the videographer was not working for her because they heared her bossing him around so much. She also charges a lot and does not give much product. Good pictures overall but hard to work with.
