She listened so carefully to our thoughts in the weeks leading up to our wedding as we discussed the moments that were important to us, and what we were hoping to capture with our wedding photos -- and she nailed it. Michelle truly cares about listening to the couple rather than approaching weddings generically, and it shows. (ii) Professionalism and Preparedness: Michelle just emanates competence when she's working. Everything is organized, no time is wasted. We flew through large, complex family photos efficiently thanks to her. She's also great with kids -- we had a nine month old in a ton of our photos and she was absolutely shameless in getting him to smile (singing the "baby shark" song loudly, making funny faces, etc.) -- she didn't hold back. Again, she just oozes competence and even authority at times (in a good way!) to keep the process moving at the right pace and to keep guests on track. (iii) Talent: Honestly, I probably should have put this one first. I enjoy amateur digital photography so our photos were really important to me...I looked closely at 50+ photographers before reaching out to Michelle. As I click through our gallery, every single photo is beautifully exposed. Our family, bridesmaid, and groomsmen photos are composed in interesting and natural ways. The portraits of the bride are exquisite and also perfectly exposed. Venue elements were incorporated liberally and creatively without it feeling forced or kitschy. But all of this is obvious through looking at her work online. Hire Michelle with confidence. I'm so grateful she joined us on our wedding day. She did a fantastic job and was an absolute delight to have around.

She put herself out into the rain while me and my bridal party were under cover to make sure we had the pictures that we wanted of the bridal party. Michelle and I would email each other throughout my engagement, and she loved hearing/seeing all of my special details (flowers, decor, etc.) leading up to the big day. She is so responsive, often emailing back the next morning even if I told her 'no rush,' and I knew I could count on her for quick answers and advice. What's key is that she made my husband and I feel so comfortable/relaxed in front of the camera, which can be tough! She has a fun, enthusiastic personality and brings out a lot of laughter during her shoots. The best is receiving an "oh my god" as she is clicking behind the camera, knowing she got a perfect shot we would love. At our wedding, Michelle showed up early to scout the venue for the best spots and went above and beyond throughout the whole day for us and our friends/family. Her 2nd photographer was great as well. Our wedding pictures (all 1,209 of them) came out better than I ever expected. From the multiple angles she took of our special 'first look' pictures to the breathtaking portraits with the stunning Hudson River backdrop to the photos of all the decor/details I worked so hard on, she truly captured the essence of our wedding day. We will cherish her photos all our life, and can't thank her enough for documenting our 'best day ever' and giving us the most stunning pictures to remember it by.

I asked Michelle to be my photographer because I know how talented, hard working, and passionate she is! I agree with previous reviews that 5 stars is not enough! She truly deserves more!!! Michelle genuinely loves getting to know her clients and their story. She loves what she does and she wants to be sure her clients will love it too. She loves the details and knows how to capture them so perfectly. Her photographs are simply stunning. Michelle also has a way of putting people at ease while she is photographing. This is such a big help on your big day! She is sure to make you laugh and will help you enjoy every minute. One of the things I was extremely impressed with (already knowing how talented she was) was her ability to keep things on track and ahead of schedule! which before my wedding I thought was unheard of! She doesn't make you feel rushed, in fact you feel completely relaxed knowing that things are running on schedule. This is difficult to do but she does it so well! I have witnessed this not only at my own wedding but also a friends wedding that I was a part of where Michelle was also the photographer. I can't say enough about Michelle. Any couple would be lucky to have her for their wedding. She is a wonderful, beautiful person with a seriously amazing talent for photography!

We had such a blast taking our engagement pictures with her and when we saw the images we knew we were in great hands. Leading up to our wedding we met with Michelle again to go over the shots we wanted and the day-of timeline she had made for us (she is all over it!) You can tell that she shares in your excitement and truly loves what she does. Needless to say on the day of our wedding Michelle and her team went above and beyond, they were unbelievable. She had about 20 photos ready for us when we got back from our honeymoon and they were better than we could have ever imagined, she captured the day PERFECTLY. 'm not fond of being in front of the camera and was a little worried that would affect the outcome of our day but, with Michelle, I always felt at ease. Her bubbly personality makes it so easy to relax and just have fun. Our images look so natural and I know that wouldn't have been possible with any other photographer. All of our images are so beautiful! It brought me tears when I first looked through them. Knowing that I will be able to look back at these memories with someone I love is so special to me. I'm so thankful for Michelle and would HIGHLY recommend working with her. She is an amazing and rare talent. We always felt so well taken care of. One thing that really stands out to me is how fast Michelle provides a little teaser from your day. She always wants you to feel special and keep you excited about your time with her. n followed by her sending us the most beautiful bouquet, to our first meeting with her to discuss our ideas for the wedding that led to a three-hour marathon of chatting where we wanted to pack her up and take her home with us and then to the actual day, we cannot possibly exaggerate her talent and delightful personality. Thinking of Michelle on the actual day makes me a little teary, because I honestly could not be more grateful and thankful that she was there. She was cheery, professional, charming, and encouraging presence while you are going through this pretty overwhelming experience. They even managed to organize a rowdy bunch of 60 Australian and Irish guests into a group photo in no time at all. We didn't do a first look, so all the family and wedding party photos had to be done after the ceremony and Michelle and Cassidy were so organized that they were done in record time and everyone was off happily making merry in about 15 minutes. We had an outdoor ceremony and the winter this year was long so the venue did not look as green or lush as we had expected. I suspect that she has magical powers because all her photos brought out all the subtleties in the greens and blues of the gardens, the barren trees somehow look romantic and we don't look cold at all! oing to do (we have no experience being in front of a camera!), Michelle stepped in and made everything better. I spent the night texting her ideas for outfits and with her enthusiasm and already-creative juices flowing she was able to help me pick the most appropriate outfits for the vision of the shoot. Since we were having a more formal reception, I really wanted a rustic feel to our engagement shoot. Michelle suggested a place and we met her there the next morning. It was a little chilly and a little early, but you would never know anything bothered Michelle! She was SO EXCITED and so ready to start shooting! Since we're amateurs at having professional pictures taken, the positive attitude and support comes natural to this girl and we immediately began to get more comfortable in front of the lens. Michelle's organic love for what she does by capturing little moments created the best pictures we have of ourselves. On top of it all, she's a blast to work with and so much fun! Michelle was not available to shoot for our wedding (due to her own bridesmaids commitment) but both my husband and I tried on seperate occasions (without each other knowing!) to get her to come. We are hoping that she'll agree to shooting our one-year "re-do" wedding photos in July, because when you have pictures taken by Michelle, no other photographer compares. Her unbelieveable eye for detail creates pictures you never even imagined. The softness, tenderness and delicacy she portrays through pictures are truly timeless. If there's one word I could associate with Michelle's photos it would be LOVE. She loves love! And her pictures capture every moment of it from each couple she works with. I love scrolling through Michelle's latest photos just as much as I love looking back on our engagement session. She had wonderful ideas for portraits as well as great at getting those funny random photos of guests that you missed out on because you were busy with the duties of being a Bride and a Groom. She was very professional and all the guests at the wedding told me how sweet they thought she was. Everyone was dying to see the wedding photos, and when they did, they said it felt like they were right back at the wedding. After being in other weddings, I can't explain enough how much more organized Michelle was as a wedding photographer than other ones I have worked with. I was concerned with how much time photos would take because I wanted to enjoy my ceremony and spend time with my guests. Everything went so smoothly it seemed like we were done in no time and I had plenty of time to dance with my guests as well as many portraits of family and bridal party. She was on top of every detail. She worked very well with my other vendors to make sure that she would capture those special memories. She met with us as many times as we needed to to discuss our visions for our wedding photography and talked to me the week prior to the wedding to make sure our time line worked. We were very lucky to have come across someone who knows Michelle and suggested for us to hire her for our wedding photographer. We realize how lucky we were to find someone so passionate about photography and weddings to help capture our once in a lifetime day. (We also did our engagement photos with Michelle, loved them! You would never know that we were freezing the entire time!)

t’s more important than that on your wedding day? Aside from being a great person, she is a fantastic photographer. Her pictures are just a glimpse into her talent, as actually working with her shows her passion for photography, and talent working with her clients. I’ve seen so many pictures online from photographers, where images look forced, unnatural, odd positions. Michelle lets you enjoy your time together, take a walk, talk about something, and captures that moment in time as a stunning image. I honestly couldn’t believe how natural and happy we looked in our pictures, without one pose of actually smiling directly at the camera. Also, it helps that Michelle brings a ton of energy to your special day. During our engagement session, we shared a little kiss while sitting on a bench, and there is Michelle, quite a distance away, yelling ‘OH YAAAAA!!’ It makes you laugh, and makes for a great picture.
