pture a moment in time, but Michelle has an absolute gift for seizing moments of realness and love with her lens. A quick dive into her body of work will have you feeling like you existed inside each memory she captured and preserved. I never met Michelle before she shot our wild, Alaskan elopement. I came to her with a simple story of love and a dream of capturing every moment of our grand adventure, and I can tell you that she exceeded all expectation. Michelle went above and beyond to scout locations from afar and to help us turn our very rough concept into a reality. She was a welcome source of ideas during the hectic planning stages and brought with her this embrace of calm energy the moment we met in person. I am someone who has never felt at comfortable in front of a camera. Most of my experiences with photographers has consisted of them asking me to ease up or them moving my head for the tenth time to a position that puts less emphasis on my overbite. Michelle, on the other hand, encouraged me to be myself with my husband and the results of that shine throughout our album. It speaks volumes to Michelle’s talent and her nature as a person that I felt not just comfortable, but confident the entire day. I was so nervous that when we received our album, I would just fixate on the parts of myself I have not yet learned to love, but my reaction was the complete opposite. I am in LOVE with our photos and the genuine memories each one evokes. I look just as beautiful and confident in each photo as I remembered feeling the moment they were shot. I will always treasure my wedding photos and the wonderful memories we made with Michelle and Christopher in Alaska. Our adventure was perfect and we owe Michelle SO much of that. I can never thank her enough!
